Hood Skibowl! This ultimate lodge comfortably sleeps 15 guests making it the ideal getaway for extended family reunions or corporate retreats!

The designer home is centrally located less than a block from the Mt. Hood Cultural Center & Museum and within walking distance to family-friendly eateries. In winter, you're within 12 miles of three popular ski resorts including Mt. Hood Skibowl, Timberline Lodge, and Mt. Hood Meadows.

Inside is simply breathtaking. You'll enjoy unique accents like tree limb stair railings and handmade artisan tile in the kitchen. The main floor's tall, cathedral, wood beam ceilings will make you feel like you are in your own private ski lodge. This great room has space for everyone to gather and socialize.

The floor-to-ceiling fireplace has a custom concrete hearth - you'll definitely stay nice and cozy here as you enjoy the views of Mt. Hood Skibowl right from the windows. Take a seat on the sectional sofa while you sip hot cocoa, listen to music on the stereo, and make plans for the following day.

In total, SnoPlace offers an impressive three full baths and five bedrooms, plus a loft to accommodate 15 guests.

The large dining room table has spots for 12, with more seats right at the breakfast bar. And because this space has an open floor plan, you can still enjoy the fireplace while eating dinner or even putting dishes away.

When it is time to use the kitchen, the chef in your group will delight in the local artist-made custom tile, beautiful cabinetry, and spacious butcher block counters. Additionally, there are gadgets for just about every culinary undertaking - an espresso maker, mixer, blender, slow cooker, French press, coffee grinder, and a toaster. If you need to look something up online, you'll have WiFi access throughout the home.

This main level also has two master bedrooms - one with a double bed, while the other has a queen, and beautiful decorative touches like snowshoe decorations and timber post bed frames. The additional three bedrooms and the loft sleeping area are located upstairs. Here, you'll have two queen beds, three twins, and two futons.

In the evenings, you'll want to make your way down to the bottom floor to the home theater room. This space has a wood stove, TV, DVD library, Netflix streaming, and lots of seating. There's a wet bar with concrete counters with inlaid snowflake designs and a foosball table for the kids. The floors are even heated cement in case you forget your slippers up in your bedroom!

Downstairs, you'll have access to the backyard, a ski tuning room, a mud room for hanging up wet clothing to dry, and a laundry room. All of the comforts of home, and then some! Out on the deck of this Mt. Hood vacation rental, there's a gas grill and a relaxing outdoor hot tub. Have a barbecue in nice weather and a soak in the tub, no matter what the season. Just sit back and enjoy the stunning mountain views as the bubbling water works on those sore muscles.

This prime Government Camp location will allow you to easily walk to town and visit restaurants like the Glacier Haus Bistro for pints of beer and Hungarian goulash, or pick up a to-go pizza at The Ratskeller and enjoy it back at home in front of that great room fireplace. You can also head to Govey General Store for basic supplies and even a rotisserie chicken and some spirits from an Oregon craft distillery.

When it's time to head down the mountain on your skis or snowboard, Mt. Hood Meadows is 11 miles away, Timberline Lodge is just under six miles to the northeast, while Mt. Hood Skibowl is only a mile up the road. This location is also ideal for other winter sports like snowshoeing, snowmobiling, and cross-country skiing.

In summer, the mountains are alive with wildflowers, as well as hiking and biking trails! There are nearby rivers for fishing or take a scenic chair lift ride up the mountain at Timberline Lodge.

This Mt. Hood vacation rental is ideal for a celebration or getaway with family and friends. You'll have three levels of living space, with room for everyone to relax and socialize, with lovely views of Mt. Hood!

My family and I booked this place for our annual family trip. We loved it! The house was well equipped and located in a great spot. Perfect for us!

Love this cabin! It slept all 10 of us comfortably, was super clean, and the hot tub was a hit. We will be back :)

Our stay at SnoPlace was amazing. Everything was clean, well stocked, comfortable and gorgeous. It was walking distance to town and close driving distance to all three main ski resorts. Our family highly recommends it.

Right in Government Camp and close to everything. It was clean, had everything we could need for cooking, and cozy great seating for a big group in the living room and game room. Would highly recommend!

Great space in a superb location. We had a family of fifteen, ages ranging from 18 mos-80 years. Enough room for everybody to spread out, but still a cozy feel in a lodge-type atmosphere that you gonup to the mountain for.

Rented three homes in Government camp for a reunion. This was the middle one as far as price of the three. This was our favorite by far. Very functional. Great space for everyone to hang out and spread out. Basically perfect. Of the three we would rent this one again.

This cabin rocked and was perfect for our group

This house was perfect for our large group and just steps away from Gov. Camp restaurants and trails. We would definitely stay here again.

My entire team was able to stay together the night leading up to the race. It was quiet and relaxing and there was enough space for all of us to rest comfortably and prepare. Definitely hoping to stay again next year!

We were here with a family of 12 of all ages. Everyone loved the home and wants to come back.

I wanted to have a big house for me and my lady friends (and a few babies) to get together for my bachelorette party. The kitchen was perfect for cooking big meals and the living room and wrap around couch was perfect for drinking wine and catching up. I initially wanted a lake house but couldn't find one so the proximity to Trillium lake was a great alternative. We went to Timberline lodge to watch the sunset which was also about 10 mins away.

We had a wonderful family gathering here. The house is lovely, very well-appointed and comfortable with lots of spaces for everyone to spread out. The kitchen is great, the bedrooms very comfortable, and the living spaces were perfect for groups. The location is terrific: hiking trails right out the door, walk to the village for food and supplies, and lots of recreation nearby. Would highly recommend!

We took our children and grandchildren for the first time all under the same roof. The floor plan met our needs and the grandchildren enjoyed the media room. The hot tub was a huge success. Our only complaint were the beds...the only decent bed was in what appeared to be the master on the second floor. The location of the house was perfect.

With 3 levels there is room enough for everyone to be together or do different things, we had a movie night with everyone, bring your own movies there are limited ones there, the kitchen was perfect we had 4 women doing different things all in the same kitchen and No one bumping into the other and the monster table allowed for family dinners and fun games with everyone together , perfect place for family fun at Christmas

We had a small family reunion of 17, so it was great to have a well stocked kitchen with everything we needed. The fireplace was so cozy and warm and the wood room was well stocked with manageable pieces of wood. We loved the big windows with plenty of natural light. The beds were a bummer, but overall a beautiful and great house within a few blocks from the town of government camp. We enjoyed our stay.

Invited some friends up for a wedding follow-up party. Excellent lounging, entertaining and dining space. Would be great for a small ski group or summer outing.
Aaron J. Sep 2016
We had a small family retreat for 3 nights in Snoplace and it was awesome! lots of beds and space for everyone and a really nice hot tub!

Great location and a super facility for a large group. The advertised capacity is over stated but still a very nice location.

Outside of the oven, the whole experience with the property and vacasa was excellent. I definitely recommend this property for a get together with family, friends, whatever.

We were a big group that stayed for a weekend for a wedding nearby. The house was spacious enough to accommodate everyone comfortably and the kitchen was well stocked with enough utensils and cookware for a great home cooked meal. It was fantastic having a living room upstairs and a tv room downstairs so the kids and adults had their own areas to hang out and chat. We definitely appreciated the availability of some shampoo. The beds were comfortable enough although one of them was a bit lumpy and laid slanted instead of flat.

Upon arrival, the downstairs and upstairs area was pretty dusty so we had to do some brief cleaning before settling in. We were unable to get the wifi working all weekend, but not too big of a deal. We were always up early and back late so we weren't able to ever get a hold of anyone in the office. The hot tub only had one functioning jet.
Jim C. Aug 2015
A great place for a large group. It was very well equipped.
Kevin P. Jul 2015
Plenty of cookware, plates and silverware to cook huge meals for 10 people.
Great house that is a quick walk to the center of Government Camp.
I'd love to come back for skiing in the winter.
Susan U. Sep 2014
We had a wonderful time. It was perfect for our wedding/family reunion. The kitchen/large table in the dinning room was the perfect gathering spot. There was a pack n play but it would have be nice to have a high chair as well.
David D. Sep 2014
A fine home for an extended vacation stay.
Jodi M. Aug 2014
We bring a camp to Mt Hood every year but this was the first year we used this property and we will use it again. It was very nice and a great location for the group.
