This is a wonderful house. The view is outstanding and the house and property is clean and well maintained.
**You might want to know that there are no window coverings so there is no privacy. This house is in a neighborhood with lots of people walking by and you wake up when the sun comes up.
It is also near a highway and a train track so there is a fair amount of noise pollution. There are no train whistles but there are regular trains that rumble down the track all day and night.
Manager response:
Hi Talitha, thank you for staying with us. We will share your feedback with the local staff for further review. We would love to host you again in the future.

We loved how everything was remodeled, and how nice all the bathrooms were. The lake view is great! Plenty of area to hang out. Looks like there is a hot tub waiting to be installed, that would be the cherry on top to push everything to a 5 star rating.

This house was gorgeous! We loved the beautiful lake views, spacious rooms and enjoyed roasting marshmallows in the deck. We’d love to come back again!

This was a very comfortable stay in an updated home with all the amenities we needed. The showers are incredible with new tile work. The kitchen and island are very nice with marble counter tops; next to the living area, it's a great open layout perfect for group of people to hang out. The appliances all appear new and good quality. The den with large windows towards the lake is quite relaxing. The neighborhood is quiet with streets long enough to take short walks. It's a very clean environment and I have no complaints there.

I am somewhat sensitive to noise in general and didn't have any problems with that. There are train tracks relatively nearby but the only thing I can see being a problem would be if you tried to sleep with the windows open. There is AC in all the rooms upstairs, but not sure about downstairs. There were very heavy blankets on the beds, and I think they would be great for the winter, but are overkill in the Spring/Summer. I think I saw some lighter blankets in a closet downstairs.

The location very near the lake and Sam Owen Park is very convenient. There is a small store nearby but I'm not sure what they carry. Sandpoint is 20 minutes away and that's where we bought groceries for the weekend.

A couple of amenities I did not see in the listing:
-Hot tub (but not functional when we were there, which was fine)
-Smart TVs with Netflix and Prime Video (and maybe Hulu but didn't try it)
-There is a new large gas BBQ on the lower patio
-The fire pit is a small, portable (movable by 1-2 people) metal pit (wood is included but we didn't end up using it) good for gathering around and maybe roasting hot dogs or marshmallows. It was located in the lower patio but I wouldn't recommend using it in that location since although the walls are open, the lower patio has a white ceiling. If you use the fire pit, I'd lug it to the upper deck with is more open to the air.
-There are a couple board games in the chest in the living room.
-There were some random food items and spices in the cabinet
