Beautiful house, beautiful view, peaceful, total package!
Jolene S. Oct 2019
This home has so many thoughtful amenities and is great for multi generation get together or several couples. The kitchen is well supplied, the beds are comfy, the fireplace makes for cozy evenings, and the view is incredible.
Elise C. Sep 2019
This is our 5th trip to this house. We all skimboard and this is the perfect beach for it--wide, clean, and deserted. We had great weather this trip as well and took many long walks, both directions. We will be back!
Lonny K. Sep 2019
This home was perfect for our trip. Beds were very comfortable. Views are awesome, house was nice and the beach was right there! The yard is fenced in so if you have dogs it is perfect or them. I will definitely be back! We did run out of garbage bags, dish soap and toilet paper which I think should have been available at the house. All in all a great place to stay!
Kathy T. Aug 2019
Proximity to beach , quiet town , lots of room ; loved kites and game room
Joyce L. Aug 2019
The view was awesome, the house clean, and the beds comfy. We enjoyed our stay.
Mark M. Jul 2019
Enjoyed our stay on this super-quiet stretch of Oregons’ coast. Didn’t mind the 62 stair steps to the beach, since the elevation Gabe is a great view and some protection if a tsunami paid a visit. Hope to return someday.
Terry J. Jul 2019
This was a very good location. The view of the ocean from the back deck was fantastic. The only thing keeping this from 5 stars is the entrance to the driveway is fairly well hidden by all the trees and bushes, was quite difficult to find at first. Other than that, no complaints.
Manager response:
Thank you for your feedback Terry! We do include an orange reflective triangle at the entrance of the driveway to make it more visible.
Sue H. May 2019
We enjoyed our stay.
Nathan K. May 2019
We had an absolutely awesome time here! The house was amazing. Lots of room and a beautiful view!

Our new favorite place to vacation!
James P. Apr 2019
Can not wait to return! The house was so comfortable and easily accommodated all 8 of us. The beds were comfortable, a well equipped kitchen, and plenty of comfortable seating. The best part was the amazing view from the living room. Even though it was a rainy stay, we could just sit back, relax and enjoy the spectacular view! Beach access was great, lots of steps but there were 2 rest areas with seats if you needed a break on the way up. One bedroom is very small and the upstairs bath and shower were small, so just be aware, but didn't negatively impact us at all.
Art W. Jan 2019
2nd time at this home in January. Great location with picture windows of the ocean and private stairway to the beach. Can't think of a better place we've stayed around that part of the Oregon coast.
Christine T. Nov 2018
The house was very nice, well equipped and very cozy. But the ocean view from the living room is the stand out. Absolutely amazing! We would love to come back in the Summer when the view would last longer. My only wish was that the king size bed was in the room facing the ocean (maybe a tad small to do so) and that there was a closet in the room that the king size bed is actually in. We very much wanted the master with the view of the ocean but much prefer to have a king bed over a double bed. The upstairs was absolutely amazing another incredible View and a lots of space for a family. However, the shower upstairs is definitely not for a tall person.
Tina R. Oct 2018
Spent a week here in October with hubby and 2 dogs and it was a blissful stay. Like other reviewers have said, the beach was mostly deserted and we spent hours just sat staring at the ocean. About 15 mins to Newport, about 10 mins to Waldport.

The house is well equipped, the beds and furnishings very comfortable and when we called the 'agent', an issue was resolved the same day.
Elise C. Sep 2018
Well, we love the house, this is about our 5th visit, and we will come back again.;)
We had great weather, which is always an unknown, and we definitely got lucky!
The beach is essentially deserted, and with a mere 66 steps down from the house, we get to play on the best skim-boarding beach around. Highly recommend!

The view and the privacy.
Mohrghaine G. Jul 2018
Nothing quite like walking into the living room, and having the entire west wall filled with the view of ocean waves and beach. The space was homey and comfortable with lots of rooms and beds that allowed our party of seven adults to spread out and relax.

The steps, with benches to pause and view and two levels, were an easy to navigate gateway to a long, relatively empty beach. Though they would not be appropriate for someone who could not walk a couple of flights of stairs.

The kitchen was roomy and well stocked with lots of pots, pans and dishes. The living room was a great place to read, stare out over the ocean, or play games at night with the family.

The location was great, with a ton of fantastic places within easy driving distance. Waldport was a very short drive, and Newport had everything you could possibly need to stock your larder for home cooked meals.

I would go back, and would recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable place to share with others on the ocean.
Eleesha D. Jul 2018
I loved the stunning views, the sound of the ocean, the privacy, and the star gazing. I loved that the decor was ocean and beach themed without being annoying, but instead comfortable and surprisingly home like.
Cindi A. May 2018
Great vacation rental for our family. Spacious, nice to have 2 sep rooms so we could visit and play games. Nicely stocked kitchen, loved the front yard for the kids and dogs. Will be back!
Annette J. Mar 2018
Our original rental was to be in Yachats on the ocean. But the people who own it apparently moved back in. We were not notified until 2 weeks before we were to rent for 3 1/2 weeks. We had to find another place on short notice and it being spring break, it was not so easy. Troy from Vacasa was very helpful in finding us another place but it had too many steps so we had to move again. We were referred to Bill who helped us find the place in Seal Rock which was wonderful. We could watch the tide come in and out and count crabbing boats.
Monica J. Oct 2017
Kathryn R. Oct 2017
The sunsets and moonsets were spectacular to watch from the living room picture window. The kitchen needs a few more dishes and glasses to accommodate more than a few people but those were minor inconveniences. We would definitely stay here again!
Elise C. Sep 2017
We love this house--it is large enough for all 5 of us, everyone has their own space so we are not climbing over each other. Internet access was good, as mom and dad had to work a little. Love the sunsets and the 66 stairs to the deserted beach. Kitchen is well stocked--we even used the blender to make smoothies.
Love this place and we will come back!
Jane S. Aug 2017
Truly amazing view from the living room and bedroom. Lovely cold beach. Private location - couldn't hear the road at all.
Chad S. Jul 2017
Very clean home with great beach access. Would definitely stay here again.
Phaedra S. Apr 2017
This house was awesome! The location to the beach was great (not great for elderly or those with bad knees, lot os steps), the view was spectacular even on the super rainy day, and it was well stocked. We cooked both nights while we were there and the kitchen had everything we needed. The place was comfortable, it invited one to sit, play games and watch the storms.
Jonathan M. Apr 2017
Loved the Seadrifter in Seal Rock! The location is the best part of this place. 15 minutes from Yachats(one of our favorite towns on the coast) and Newport. So many hiking opportunities, great restaurants and little shops to explore. My favorite part of the house was the view. Could be seen from any part of the living room, dining room or kitchen. Just gorgeous!
Charles B. Mar 2017
Upon arrival there were several large flies in the house. Once we eliminated them , it was a great stay.
Mary M. Feb 2017
This home is so warm and welcoming but an outstanding feature is the distance from 101; down a long driveway. The ability to close the fence is ideal for those with small children or dogs playing outside.

We loved the property and will definitely return!
Theresa H. Feb 2017
Overall, a nice place to stay with terrific views. Very quiet. Hard to find the driveway off the main highway.
Pamela S. Sep 2016
This was a perfect setting for family gathering - with a toddler. The house, view, and beach gave everyone their space and also together family time. Loved the dining room table! The kitchen was well stocked and easy to use.
The beach was fairly easy access -over a few logs but not bad to get too and lot of space to run the dog and grand-baby. We will be back.
Steve T. Aug 2016
This is a great property in an incredible location. All they need to do is clean the place up and it would be a 5 star vacation spot. But, the house was dirty – they ask for you to remove your shoes, but you want to keep your socks on because the floor and carpets are so dirty. Windows were dirty, too, which is a shame because the view is spectacular. Stairs down to the beach are steep and would be treacherous for infants or seniors that may not be totally stable. At the bottom you have to make your way through tree branches and bushes and then walk across unstable logs. For myself, my wife and our 2 teens, it was fine, but people need to know this. Again, the place is fantastic mainly because of it's location, but just needs some upkeep. A little elbow grease and this place would be one of the best spots on the coast!
Manager response:
We are sorry to see that housekeeping was not up to par. The Property Manager has discussed the floors and windows with the team, and both have been properly cleaned recently.
David D. Aug 2016
Awesome location and house, but for the considerable price for 2 nights, you don't get much time at the home given that you check in at 4pm and check out at 11am.

Otherwise, it's a wonderful spot on the coast with everything as described.
Jenifer H. Jul 2016
The view and beach are amazing at this location. We had the beach mostly to ourselves and enjoyed beautiful sunsets each night. The house has plenty of room for our group - 3 adults; 2 kids. It's a beautiful location and a great place to stay on the coast.
Kathryn C. Jul 2016
The views from this property are amazing ! You can see the ocean from almost everywhere in the house . The upstairs bedroom has a queen bed and bunk beds which worked great for our family. The beach access was great . The area at the bottom of the stairs has logs to walk over so it was a little tricky with young kids , but other than that it was no problem. The cleanliness of the house could've been better ...things were a bit dusty but it wouldn't change my rating from 5 stars . We had to call management when we couldn't find a high chair and they solved the problem quickly . The location is quiet and private . Overall a great stay !
Jeremy K. Jul 2016
The home was spacious and clean, and the beds were very comfortable. The view was beautiful from the living room and deck. Fairly easy access to the large sandy beach, and lots of nice places to visit only a short drive in either direction.
Megan N. Jun 2016
Loved it! Will stay here again in the future. Neighbors were friendly, weather was beautiful, and the view from the front room and porch was absolutely breathtaking! You honestly won't regret staying here.
Elise C. Jun 2016
Great location and home, this is our 4th stay and we will be back in Sept!
Vanessa B. Apr 2016
This was our second vacation at the Seadrifter, and we loved it just as much or more than our first visit. In particular, we were really pleased with the way the rooms had been re-arranged a bit so the sleeping arrangements worked out better for our family. It was great to have the kids upstairs and a new king bed downstairs. The king bed was very comfortable and we slept well. The weather was a bit rainier than last time, but we made good use of the excellent selection of puzzles and board games. We appreciated the cable and the good wi-fi too. We made good use of the kitchen and BBQ and needed for nothing to cook all our feasts. We hope that our annual family tradition of vacationing at the Seadrifter can continue for many more years.
Siobhan C. Apr 2016
Perfect beach, location, seclusion - a new favorite. The view from the house is amazing!
Dan C. Mar 2016
We have stayed for years on the OR coast and the view from this property ranks at the top. Nice layout with a master up (although the bathroom is really small, think RV and you won't be disappointed) and all other living down stairs, there is some nice privacy for mom and dad to get away. Living, kitchen, and dining rooms all have excellent views, and the fully fenced in yard is just perfect for the pooch. The home is situated on a flag lot, so you drive about 100+ yards off 101 through a thicket of trees to get to the property which creates an amazing private little experience. I am a very light sleeper and I never once heard a car from the hwy. The beach is beautiful although, as mentioned by others the bottom of the stairs from the home to the beach is a bit of a balance beam walk if you don't have waders. It's easy for any younger people with a sense of balance, but under 5 and over 60 might be tough if out of shape or easily dizzied. The beach is long and flat, so you don't get crashing waves at night, just a constant easy ocean sound that made falling asleep a real treat. Only 2.5 miles from Waldport for groceries yet still close to Newport for the rest. All the amenities you could need and good directions for the TV etc. We will be back!
Aleesha G. Mar 2016
This location was absolutely gorgeous! The rooms were great and very comfortable. Perfect for 8 people. There was a lot of space in both the kitchen and living room for everyone to congregate. What a special find down on the coast!!
James B. Feb 2016
Very nice place to stay, very quiet, clean and enjoyable
Anna S. Nov 2015
An older, comfortable, home with a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, It had a few attributes we found exceptional. First was the very private feel, both within and without the home, even though there were close neighbors. Secondly, it was extremely quiet (though that may have been due to our week-day stay). Lastly, it's location was excellent for visiting both Waldport and Newport, and of course, the beach was just steps away (quite a few steps straight down, but they were easy to navigate. The home was well appointed, and had a wonderful ocean view. We stayed 4 nights, and look forward to an opportunity for a longer stay.
Courtnee A. Sep 2015
Had a great time sharing this home with one other family. We each had two small kids. One family was able to take the downstairs bunk and room with the queen bed and another family was able to share the upstairs bedroom with the futon and queen. Enough separate space for everyone. Kiddos loved running down to the beach and using the provided beach toys and kites. So convenient to have the hose to wash off sandy feet. We were able to successfully cook 2 dinners with the provided cutlery just fine. Not quite enough room at the table for all of us but that was ok to feed the kids first then a quiet dinner for the adults. Comfortable beds and linens. Really enjoyed the provided shampoo and soaps. All in all a successful and fun weekend getaway to the Coast!
Julia E. Aug 2015
This was the perfect place for our group of 3 adults and 2 young children. The accomodations were comfortable, attractive, inviting, and roomy. We purchased seafood from the fishing boats in Newport, and had everything needed for a feast in the kitchen and dining room.

We will absolutely be returning to this spot!
Patty M. Aug 2015
Pros: Our family of 9 vacationed at this home for 4 nights. The space was great. There was plenty of room for us in the living area, kitchen, and dining area. The view was beautiful, and the location was very close to Newport and other surrounding areas of interest.

Cons: Upon arrival, the home was not as clean as I would have expected. The bathmat and shower were dirty, there were cobwebs under chairs, and the entire house could have used a good dusting. We also found a pop can under a dresser, a lighter under a bed, and some other miscellaneous things that were obviously not seen by the cleaning staff. We were only given one roll of toilet paper per bathroom and one roll of paper towels in the kitchen, as well as only a few dishwasher tabs. These things led us to multiple unplanned trips to the grocery store, which was frustrating. The kitchen was beautiful, and well stocked with cooking tools, however the amount of plastic containers for storing food was very limited. We found only a few containers, most of which did not have matching lids. One kitchen chair was broken, one of the lounge chairs on the patio was broken, and the screen door to the kitchen from the patio was also broken.

Overall, the home was absolutely beautiful, but could use a few repairs as well as supplies for its renters. I also feel like the cleaning staff needs to do a better job of preparing the home for new renters.
Manager response:
We genuinely appreciate your review and feedback about your stay. It's so nice to read that your family enjoyed your 4 night stay in this beautiful oceanfront home! We certainly do agree that the view and the location really can not be beat for a relaxing family getaway. Guest feedback is vital to improving our services. Thank you for pointing out that some of the aspects of the housekeeping were not up to expectation. Our goal is to follow up with our staff and ensure they know how important it is that our homes are guest ready. Hopefully your overall enjoyment was not affected by this. Please come back and see us again!
Cena H. Jul 2015
We loved this place. We made lots of new memories. The beach feels like you own it. Solitude. Nice deck. Rosemary and lavender bushes in front that we enjoyed.
Jenna R. Jun 2015
We stayed at the Seadrifer and loved it! The home was clean and nearly every room had beautiful views of the ocean. The beach was very quiet and we basically had it all to ourselves. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to others!
Manager response:
Wow! What could be better than your own private beach? Or at least close. We are pleased to hear that you enjoyed your stay and hope to see you again soon. Thanks for choosing Vacasa!
Kasandra L. May 2015
We were 3 adult couples and this place fit our needs great. The house was clean and well stocked and the living room was comfortable for all of us. The fireplace was cozy in the evening as it cooled off outside. The VIEWS!!! The views are what really make the house just wonderful! One evening we even saw whales from the deck! It was so great to have coffee in the living room and watch the waves roll in. The kitchen is well stocked and so is the bathroom with plenty of towels. It was also very nice to have laundry facilities onsite. We had a great stay and would definitely return!
Sherri B. May 2015
This is a nice fit for 3 or 4 adults and two kids looking for easy beach access. We took a trip to the coast to celebrate my mother-in-law's 70th birthday. The set up of the house was nice - my husband and I slept in a room with a small deck overlooking the sea, my MIL took the upstairs with a great view and her own bath so she had some privacy, and the kids (ages 4 and 8) had the room with the bunk beds. The property is very private, and there is a private stair path down to the beach, which was not difficult for any of us. Cute back yard for the kids to play. There was plenty of room. The gas fireplace was easy to use. The kids enjoyed the jacuzzi tub in the bathroom. The windows/views are lovely. Walk the beach north to tidepools full of star fish and anenomes. Conveniently located for quick trips to Newport (aquariums, Yaquina Head Natural Area), Waldport, Yachats, Cape Perpetua State Park, and so much more. Altogether a lovely time.
Kellee H. Apr 2015
We enjoyed our stay at the Sea Drifter very much. The home has everything we needed for a wonderful stay. First, the location is beautiful – ocean front, with private beach access. The home, yard, and deck are perfect. It’s such a plus to have your own private beach access, with a beach that has a maximum of only 10 other people on it at any given time. There was the cutest bunny and squirrel in the yard which made for a pleasant site every day; not to mention being serenaded by the frogs each night and early morning. Inside the home we found it to be well stocked with supplies and necessities in every room. Each room is warm and cozy with its own thermostat. The living room has an easy-to-use gas fireplace and lovely view of the ocean. All the bedrooms have comfortable beds and lovely views. The bonus of the laundry facilities was very much appreciated. Free internet access was a great and much-needed option for some completion of some online work. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
Tessa S. Mar 2015
Pros:
Can't beat being on the beach! The views, the sound!!
Home has been tastefully updated in most parts.
overall cleanliness was very good
kitchen supplies were excellent condition, even some decent knives!
great layout
management was very helpful the couple of times we needed to contact them.

The following is some constructive feedback...but in no way a dig on the place (we WOULD stay here again).

It is worth noting that there are 60 STEEP steps to the beach....any one with any mobility problems might have some issues (seniors/babies/toddlers). At the bottom any other time than summer, there are some slightly slippery logs (used to bypass the wet ground) and a marshy/boggy area to navigate. No big deal, just an FYI.

Some deep cleaning needs to be done (think fixtures and blinds)

upstairs bathroom is clean a perfectly usable, but pretty old and dated.

upstairs mattress probably needs to be replaced at some point...not awful...but not great either.

The fridge functioned fine....but for anyone with long stays and lots of food, the missing veggie drawers and compartments within the freezer might be noticed.

A simple hand held mixer might be a nice appliance to include.
Manager response:
Thank you for sharing your 5 star review of this fantastic home! The home owner has taken great care to ensure the home is very welcoming to guests. We appreciate guest feedback and will certainly share your review with our local staff and the owner of the home. We hope you'll come visit again. Thanks for choosing Vacasa! UPDATE: A new refrigerator has been installed and a hand mixer purchased!
Lisha R. Mar 2015
We were very comfortable the house is older but clean the view is awesome, however for older ones the beach trex is abit of a hike down long stairs and over the logs and through the pond. However just down the road there is a State Park access that makes getting to the beach alot easier.
Leighann M. Mar 2015
Our daughter is considering Portland for College. We live in Bozeman, Montana. We decided to make the College Shopping a Spring Break excursion. There were four teenagers, three adults, and one six year old. Most of us had never been to the coast We were a little worried due to our early spring break and Oregon weather in March. The home was very accommodating immediately upon arrival. The layout this home was absolutely perfect for our group of many. Teenagers need to spread out. We were all able to have space yet fit around the table for family style dinners and games. My little one was never bored ever. The house was so over equipped with beach toys, puzzles, books, and kites for all the kids.
The best part of the house .. the view was just amazing from any window facing the ocean. The house sits next to neighbors whom we never once saw or heard from ( we hope we gave them the same respect). The staircase to beach was long but sooo worth it . You feel like you have your own little coves and nooks along the way down. Once to the beach you felt like you were on your on private part of the coastline. I could go on and on about how wonderfully perfect this place was even with two days of rain. The frogs at night serenading, the stars from the porches, the sound of the ocean all day long. Our family hopes to stay here every time we are back visiting Oregon. Which may be sooner than we think.
Thank you so much! for such a great experience.
oh! the towns of Newport, and Yachats.. great little towns to visit!
Manager response:
We are glad that you had a great time. We wish your daughter the best of luck at college! And happy to hear the home was perfect for your stay.
Joel B. Feb 2015
The easy of doing business with Vacasa was just as good as this amazing house we stayed in. The Sea Drifter is the best of all worlds. Location, privacy of the home, private beach access, the view from all rooms in the house, the layout of the home, amenities, and cleanliness made this one of the best times my family has had on a weekend getaway. My children, wife and I will make Sea Drifter a regular family vacation spot because of the house and Vacasa.
Manager response:
Thank you for your kind words. We are thrilled to hear that you enjoyed your time at this wonderful vacation home and had such a positive experience with our company as well! We look forward to hearing from you when you begin planning your next trip to the Seadrifter with your family! So glad that you were able to create some nice memories at this vacation spot and hope you are able to make many more in the future! Your comments and review are very much appreciated.
Vanessa B. Jan 2015
I had high hopes for this vacation rental after reading the previous reviews. We were not disappointed! All of us loved this warm, welcoming old house that has been maintained very well and updated with lots of amenities. It was a dream beach house from the huge windows with the unparallelled view of the ocean to the comfy, beautiful furniture to the deck with chairs and table. Our 3 children were so happy here, not a fight was heard, just playing all day in the sand (we got very lucky with 3 sunny warm days in January!). It was truly a magical vacation and I hope we return to the Seadrifter.
Karen R. Jan 2015
A very, very special place to spend a week. It was the silver lining in a trip that went sideways after our transmission blew on the way to CA and we had to wait a week for it to be fixed.
Sarah M. Aug 2014
My family and I loved staying at The Sea Drifter. It was large enough to fit all of us nicely (6 total 4adults 2 children) and was kid friendly. It was nice being able to cook and have our own space instead of staying at a hotel and the views were amazing. The walk to the beach was quite the hike but you didn't mind when you got down there. Loved it cant wait to stay again next year!
Dorothy B. Jul 2014
Our clan ranged in age from 87 to 17, and everyone loved our stay. The active ones walked and ran on the beach and nearby forest trails, while others were happy enjoying the view from the deck or exploring the nearby coast by car. Kitchen had everything we needed. The spot is quiet and feels secluded. Great location!
Manager response:
This is great feedback. We're so glad that your experience with us was such a positive one and that your whole group found something to enjoy during your stay with us.
Jenifer H. Apr 2014
The beach access is great! The house was the perfect size for us. We had 4 adults and 2 kids on this trip. I wasn't sure about the layout - having the kitchen separate from the living room, but it worked out well. The table is nice and big and the mud room is perfect for living sandals and keeping sand out of the house. We would definitely go back to this house.
Mary Ann A. Dec 2013
This is a great place to stay. Very comfortable, kitchen was well stocked, private setting. Just had one problem with the gate to the beach being locked and we couldn't unlock it per instructions, but we called it in and someone was prompt in coming out and fixing it for us.
Manager response:
Thanks for the great review of the home. It sounds like you really enjoyed your stay. We are also glad that we could assist you promptly in regards to the gate lock and hope you enjoyed your December beach trip.
Connie S. Sep 2013
Great location on the Oregon Coast. Home was lovely, views could not have been better. Very private, well furnished, everything you need. My favorite part was listening to the waves crashing on the shore!
Stella V. Aug 2013
This is a great house with a marvelous view on one of the most beautiful beaches on the Oregon Coast. However you have to be in relatively good condition with good working knee joints to traverse the Mt Everest of stairs!
Manager response:
Thanks for your feedback. The stairs to the beautiful beach does require steps but the climb is well work it! There are also very easy public beach access areas less than 1 miles from this home. We hope you enjoyed the view...it can't be beat!
Connie P. Aug 2013
This is a lovely home and we look forward to staying here again in the future
Lorrie E. Jul 2013
The log and vegetation at the bottom of steps would prevent an older person from getting to beach! My brother tried to get over log and slipped and skinned his leg badley enough that we contemplated taking him to urgent care for stitches! The path at the bottom of the stairs were also not easy to manuever. Also, you should make more clear on your website that there are so many flights of stairs. My parents would not have been able to make all those stairs had they come.
Manager response:
We are sorry you found the trail to be such a challenge. The easy access public trail is less than a 1/4 mile away. We hope you will choose to stay with Vacasa again in the future! UPDATE 9/17/13. The trail to the beach has been cleared providing easier access. There are 60 steps to the beach but well worth the adventure!

This beach house is a wonderful place to stay for a family with young children. We recently stayed here with my toddler granddaughter. Fortunately, there were doors to both inside stairs and the patio area was almost completely baby proof, only lacking a gate to the backyard.
It made for a very relaxing stay, being able to allow the baby to roam the house without constant intervention.

We stayed with our two children and another couple. The house was perfectly designed for us to all have our own spaces. We didn't even mind the steps to the beach but our knees are still young.

We loved, loved. loved the location, modern kitchen, view, charm, jetted tub and privacy. It was perfect for our family of two grown daughters and their guys, two grandchildren and the old folks. Loved our little bedroom on the main floor with our balcony and view. Even with the early March weather we enjoyed opening the door a bit so we could hear the sounds of the sea at night. Lovely.

Great family trip to the Seadrifter. The home was very well appointed and served our family with two boys (9 and 7) perfectly. Most enjoyed were the wonderful picture windows, quick beach access, comfortable linens, and cleanliness of the home. The main floor bedroom/bathroom layout was ideal for us. Loved the openness of the beach in this area. Walked and explored for hours. Certainly appreciated Vacasa Rentals offer for the "late check-out". We've rented all over Oregon and have never had that option. Welcomed gesture.

we loved the beach house and the tranquility.
We were connecting with a local family so location great for us.
Vacasarentals were prompt in answering our questions.
we hope to return the next time we visit the area
Manager response:

If you're looking for a spot to chill out, cook some food and watch the waves...this house is fantastic.

The first time we walked into the living room and saw the view, it almost took our breath away - and it never got old. The house is very comfortable with lots of natural light, the kitchen is well outfitted - even with a coffee grinder. The upstairs bathroom is very small, and if you are over 6', the shower may be a bit interesting, but the rest of the master suite is very nice - again with incredible views. We stayed in late December and needed boots to get to the beach due to draining/standing water at the base of the stairs - not unexpected. All in all, we had a GREAT experience here, and would definitely rate the Seadrifter as a "keeper"!

Really appreciated the quality utensils, pots, and pans.

This is one of the best rental homes I have stayed in. The location and view were amazing, with direct beach access. The home itself was spacious and more than well equipped. All supplies needed were there and then some. The direct beach access was great, although we only were able to go down there once due to the storms. We hope to return during the summer to further enjoy the location!

The home was very comfortable and relaxing, Everytime we looked for something it was there. Although some of the dvd's were missing. We didn't mind we just thought you might want to know.
The view was breathtaking especially from the upstairs windows.

This was a great home and location. The views are wonderful, a private walkway to the sandy beach with miles of walking, nice deck with BBQ, nice kitchen big enough for gathering and the beds were very comfortable. Very clean and private. We'll be back!

A view as wide as the horizon and a private stairway to a secluded driftwood beach are only a few of the great features of SeaDrifter. It is set on a large, heavily wooded lot for plenty of privacy. There are stunning views from every window. Making dinner hardly seems like a chore when you do it while watching the sky change colors at sunset! There were five of us, but the SeaDrifter can easily sleep eight or nine. Really cool bunk bed for the kids. Lots of great stylish touches throughout. We will be back!

Thank you for your review, we look forward to your return!

The beach house was wonderful. Everything we needed was there. Plenty of room in the house and it had the best private beach access. Lots of stairs to the beach but that was good exercise. The neighborhood was completely quiet and the squirrels and rabbits were fun to watch. We all agreed that we would return in the future.
