Family-friendly home w/ hot tub, ocean view, & entertainment - close to beach!

Plan a trip to Neskowin and fall in love with the Oregon Coast all over again! This beautiful, family-friendly house offers a private hot tub and view of the ocean from its expansive deck, plus a ton of entertainment for up to eight guests to enjoy!

Located in a quiet area off Highway 101 near Kiwanda Creek, this house feels private and secluded with few houses in sight. Walk or drive about a mile to reach the sandy length of Neskowin Beach, or find conveniences in town.

You'll feel at home right away in the bright atmosphere and spacious accommodations of this home. Grab a seat on one of the couches in the main room and cozy up in front of the wood-burning fireplace. Look out the wall of picture windows toward the ocean and forest in between, or step out onto the deck to breathe fresh air with your morning coffee and soak in the view from the picnic table and chairs.

On the other side of this open room is a well-equipped kitchen with everything you need to make scrumptious meals, plus extras like a mixer, blender, coffeemaker, and dishwasher to make the chef's job even easier. Six will fit around the dining table for dinner. There's also a gas grill outside for quick barbecue dinners.

A bonus room downstairs is where the kids will want to spend all their time - foosball, darts, and Ping-Pong are just some of the fun to be had. There's also a flatscreen TV and a DVD collection to choose from. The main room upstairs has a cable TV with a PlayStation, so the group doesn't all have to agree on a movie. WiFi is available for all your browsing needs.

Four bedrooms and two full bathrooms allow up to eight travelers to sleep comfortably here. Two bedrooms both feature a queen bed while another has two twin beds. The final bedroom has a twin bed and a twin trundle that pulls out from underneath. A private washer/dryer makes it simple to take care of laundry.

This house is ideal for a family or a group of friends - wake up for a morning stroll along the quiet beach, stopping to take photos of iconic Proposal Rock and the "ghost forest" of tree stumps from ages past. Or schedule an early tee-time at the neighboring golf course to get a jump start on your perfect day.

If you don't mind water that's a little chilly, canoeing, kayaking, and fishing are all great choices for memory-making fun! Cascade Head Nature Preserve nearby offers a multitude of hikes through old-growth forest and epic viewpoints for anyone willing to go through the extra effort - we promise it's well worth it. Of course, you can always just relax with loved ones at home and make the occasional journey down to Pelican Pub & Brewery for an afternoon pick-me-up.

Your Oregon Coast vacation at this home is likely to stand far above the rest - book today!

Loved that there was a Tsunami evacuation trail leading to the ocean. Nice way to get in your morning walk. Easier going down hill rather than up hill!
The house was well stocked with everything we needed.

Gorgeous views from the wraparound decks on this ocean view home in a quiet coastal town. Nicely appointed beach home with game room and plenty of room for family gatherings.

Private and quiet setting yet still close enough to Neskowin’s hub for dinner or to stock up on provisions. Our children loved the playroom downstairs! Property needs some basic TLC but is a very nice home.

Great house but needs some love! It is very dated but everything worked. The pictures are definitely a bit deceiving (lower level bathroom is 50s yellow, messy carport, needs a good sweep, chairs could fall apart and appliances could fail any day). We comfortably prepared meals in the kitchen. We also enjoyed the hot tub and deck and the great view. The location was great. We loved that it was very secluded but also close enough for necessities. The beds were comfortable. We were worried about staying in the lower level (where 2 bedrooms are located) since it seemed so closed off and windowless but in the end we really didn't mind it. There was a closet full of broken stuff in the basement (broken chairs, pieces of kites, rolled up beach mats with holes in them, and random junk all piled crazily). We couldn't use any of the beach chairs, which was a bummer since it was a reasonable hike to get to the huge beach. The carport had a ton of beach toys but everything was filled with old dirty water and sand. Overall we really enjoyed the house and would stay there again but it definitely could be improved. I would suggest putting a queen sized bed in the upper bedroom that has the trundle to enhance sleeping arrangement options. Also, really needs recycling bins! We felt very guilty leaving our discarded beer bottles and we would have dropped off our recycling if we had known where to take them. It also would have been nice if there were instructions for the house or area (path to beach, where the extra towels are located, where the outdoor chair pads are, etc.) Found some beach towels in a top basement cabinet with some gross tar-like substance that just need to be tossed out. We figured everything out but a note would have been nice to save the trouble. The house could handle oversized furniture in the living room and kitchen and it would make it more comfortable. We thought of a million little things we would do differently if we owned the house. It feels a bit like they took everything they didn't want and stowed it away. There was no room to store suitcases because stuff was piled in closets. Good bones with lots of potential! Don't arrive late at night your first time arriving or it will be a bit scary. You need a drive in and out before you become comfortable with the sharp, drop off to get to the house, which in the dark could be alarming. The house grew on us and what was disappointing in the beginning became comfortable in the end. It sounds like a bad review but we really did love the place despite all the bad bits. A few days of organizing would go a long way here (and invest in some beach chairs!)
Manager response:
We greatly appreciate such thorough feedback as it helps us better understand what our guests like and don't like and where we can improve. The broken items and beach chairs have been removed and replaced. The beach toys in the carport have been removed and cleaned for use. Nestucca Valley Sanitary does not offer recycling, but there are local transfer stations to deposit recyclables. We have updated our notes with directions on beach access and staged beach towels and outdoor chair pads. Thanks!

Neskowin is a wonderful get away place and Pacific Solace is the quintessence of it.

We had a wonderful time on the Oregon Coast. Our family of eight stayed in this house, and enjoyed the nice view from its beautiful, large deck. The house was clean and comfortable (once we opened it up to the cool breeze). The location was very convenient and central to our activities north and south of Neskowin.
Some updating in decor would make the house even better. It was a bit of a challenge to find, but is in a beautiful location. A very pleasant stay!

Overall a great place to take the family. Lots of great fun in the house and a small place for young kids to play on the side. You can get to the beach with a bit of hiking or just down the road either way you have great opertuntys to play in the sand.
A short jaunt to Lincoln City for dining then back to a quite place to rest for the next days adventures.

If your goal is to relax in the woods above the beach but not be in the traffic of an actual beach house, this is the place for you. Be careful exiting the drive on to highway 101 traffic comes quickly.
