Dog-friendly home on Golf Course w/ Mountain Views, hot tub, and shared pool

With its five bedrooms, five and a half baths, private hot tub, and spectacular views from its massive deck, this family-friendly Gypsum vacation rental is proof that not all the jewels in Colorado's mountains come from mines!

Located 37 miles west of renowned Vail and 32 miles to Beaver Creek, your stay in this gorgeous home will put you just a short drive to world-class resorts where you can immerse yourself in seasonal activities like skiing, hiking, and rafting.

Your family and friends (and one well-behaved doggie) will be able to savor the wide expanses, rugged peaks, and clear blue skies that make Colorado such a special place.

Flanked by the manicured fairways of Gypsum Creek Golf Course, this palatial and luxurious home is like an island in the otherwise rugged surroundings of the plain just south of little Gypsum. Additions like a patio gazebo and a seven-person hot tub add extra luxury.

Step into the living area, with its gleaming hardwood floors and wall of windows. You'll enjoy awe-inspiring vistas of the distant peaks, and you'll want to just stand and look for a moment. Though the space is huge, the atmosphere is warm and cheery, softened by big green plants of all sorts, tasteful decor, and cream-colored walls that accentuate the intense Colorado sunlight.

Once you're settled, sit and relax for a while, listening to some music on the CD player. There's a TV equipped with Century Link Prism service for the most modern in entertainment. Or, head to the second living area where you can escape in a book, start a board game, or take a peek through the telescope. If you're considering a night out in Vail (about a half-hour east) you'll be able to bring up the Internet on your laptop to make reservations or check on local events.

Though there are several eateries in Gypsum offering cuisine from Southwestern to steak, you won't want to miss the chance to pack in your own supplies and create homemade meals in this gorgeous, fully equipped kitchen that features double ovens, high-end appliances, and plenty of space to maneuver. The long granite countertops offer plenty of space for prep work or simply sitting at a barstool and sipping a glass of wine. Everyone can enjoy their meal at the dining area, but chances are you'll want to head out to the awesome deck and the patio furniture where you can, perhaps, watch as the sun begins to set over the mountains.

With five beautiful bedrooms, the Timberwolf has ample room for 12 guests. In the master bedroom, you'll sleep soundly on a big king bed. In each of the other four bedrooms, you'll find three queen beds, one double bed, and two twins dressed with quality linens. And with five and a half baths, there will be little or no waiting for the bathroom!

A washer and dryer is also provided so you can keep your packing light and hiking clothes fresh throughout your trip. One well-behaved dog is welcome, with a nightly pet fee. Best of all, there's even a private hot tub waiting to help you truly relax!

For those times when you might want to do something other than just sit and enjoy the tremendous vistas around this home, there's plenty to do in those hills around you. Red Mountain and Tenmile Peak hover over the rim of the valley, and there are miles of trails for the ATV, hikers, and mountain bikers. The Eagle River is about 15 minutes east, where you can throw a fishing line, meander in the kayak, or shoot the white water in a raft.

Of course, the beautiful greens of the Gypsum Creek Golf Course beckon just beyond your door, so be sure to book a tee time or two during your getaway. In the winter, Vail Valley, Beaver Creek and other ski areas are about 30 minutes to the east on I-70 for winter sports in world-class resorts.

Stay in this gorgeous and spacious Vail Valley vacation home with a little more peace and quiet so you can truly relax in this unforgettable mountain retreat!

We had a great week with 3 families. There are plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms and tons of space for everyone to sit for meals and to relax. Close to the slopes, cross-country skiing at Eagle Ranch and everything else in the valley. Would definitely stay there again!

We had aunts, uncles and cousins all come in and the house was the perfect place for us all to stay. There was plenty of room and the hidden playroom in the closets upstairs was a big hit for the kids!

House is perfect if you want a vacation where you're able to relax in a quiet area but also venture out to nearby ski resorts and cities. House is better in person!
Tim W. Mar 2018
The house was well apportioned. I never touched the thermostat and the temp was perfect all the time even when it was really cold out.

We were very happy with the property. Plenty of room for 12 people. The parking issue is a drag, but you better believe they are serious about it! We had one vehicle on the street while unloading, and the local sheriff came by with flashing lights at 8am to have us move!

I cannot say enough about how great this house was. Very accommodating for everyone. Pictures make the house look nice, but you have to see it to believe how nice it is. Everyone was just amazed and we are truly happy with our choice!

We plan on coming back next year! WE loved it!

200 Timberwolf in Gypsum is centrally located between Vail and Glenwood Springs and beyond to Aspen allowing us to visit and play in both locations while returning home each evening to a welcoming , lovely , and spacious home with a great kitchen. Three levels allows room for all of our guests to have their own space and the great room and deck allow all to come together most comfortably. It backs up to the Cottonwood Ranch golf course which was a fun course to play. We loved it and would return in a heartbeat.

This house served our family's purposes very well. We were in town for a family wedding with out of town family staying with us. In any other house this would have been challenging but at Timberwolf we were able to be in separate parts of the house or outside and be alone if we wanted quiet time. The house was equipped with everything we needed and made a stressful time of details much easier to handle. The fact that it was on a golf course made it more beautiful. Our family plans on going back to that house ..... we enjoyed it so much. The fact that Costco was nearby was a big bonus. We loved Gypsum and Eagle and will return.

This home was everything I expected and more! The views were stunning, the outdoor space was perfection. The number of bedrooms, the well stocked kitchen...everything you could possibly want. They spared no expense furnishing this beautiful home.

We were in the area due to getting married in Eagle. We rented this property with 3 other couples and all of us were extremely satisfied with the space, the amenities, the accommodations and location to the wedding location in Eagle. I truly did not want to leave the property I could very easily make this my home it was so well equipped and comfortable. Very easy to find and close to Costco, and grocery stores. This property is perfect for families, couples and wedding parties such as ours....Thank you again for providing clean well maintained property for our special event.

We very much enjoyed our nights in Gypsum. The home is very comfortably furnished, with enough space for everyone! I appreciated the games and toys in the basement and the kitchen with everything we needed.
The hot tub with golf course views was a pleasure!!

Jarame B. Mar 2016
We stayed here with family and friends. This is a large home that is great for entertaining. Not far from the slopes. The home was clean and exactly what we wanted. The property manager was very accommodating and we had no issues.
Salome L. Feb 2016
This house is everything a renter can dream of. We fell in love from the first look from the photos and it is exactly as it looks in the photos. Besides the pleasant look, it is also very comfortable to live in. We felt like at home. I was very impressed how fully equipped this house is and how much care the owner has taken to decorate the house. It almost feels like someone actually lives there and has just taken leave for a few weeks. The kitchen, laundry, bathrooms, back patio, bedrooms, basement, TV room, dining room, all just amazing and fully equipped with everything! Everything you may need to make your stay pleasant. The purpose of our visit to Colorado was to ski on Vail mountain. Originally I was worried about the proximity of the house to the slopes, but I was pleasantly surprised how easy of a drive it is. It is a direct route via I-70 highway with a scenic drive through the mountains. Loved how close it is to all the slopes, Beaver Creek, Vail is within 30 minutes drive. We even tried to drive to Aspen one day, but did not make it due to the landslide.
We loved coming back to this luxurious and at the same time cozy home after all day skiing, it provided the perfect comfort we needed to cook a great dinner, play games, hang out in the jacuzzi or indoors. Really happy we found this place. Thank you for making our stay so amazing.

We were on a couple retreat and this home met our needs and then some. The only downside was the distance from Gypsum to Vail and other ski areas. Was very tiring after an active day.
Mark M. Feb 2016
A college ski trip for guys who are 60+ years old was considered a success by all due to the houses furnishings as well as 35 inches of fresh snow during our stay. The home was exactly what was advertised and is an excellent place to stay
Mihail C. Jan 2016
It was awesome. Will definitely rent with vcasa again
Susan D. Jan 2016
We staged a gathering at the Timverwolf house that was broken down into three groups: Kids and grandkids first, siblings/spouses, then Friends and it could have been complicated but wasn't due to the lovely appointments of the home. I had lovely private time with my sister who has been battling cancer too, which meant the world. Thanks for the unforgettable memories!
Kenneth And Beth Q. Dec 2015
We loved the house, it was fantastic. Very good fit for two families. My boyfriend and I brought our kids (one of which is married) and our assistant. The size of the house and number of bedrooms allowed every one to spread out and have privacy as needed yet also great areas for all to gather together for activities. The house was stocked with movies and games and even puzzles. The kitchen was great and had two different areas that would fit all 8 of us for a meal. The house is obviously well taken care of and clean. Gypsum does not have a lot to offer but the purpose of our trip was to go skiing and snowboarding. We drove to Vail each day and it was not a bad drive. At the end of each day, the hot tub was a huge hit. I imagine the deck and little pagoda would be fantastic during spring weather. Would definitely recommend this house to other families.
Kathleen B. Dec 2015
So many great things to say about the Timberwolf. Plenty of room for our family to spread out, games and toys for grown ups and children of all ages and free Wi-Fi and Satellite TV made this perfect place for our family . The hot tub was much appreciated as well. We prepared holiday dinner for 10, the kitchen is large and well appointed (we needed to obtain a disposable roasting pan and a pie pan) but the kitchen had everything else we needed. We would definitely come back again! Thanks Vacasa.
Ron P. Aug 2015
We had 8 people, including 2 young teens. There was more than enough space for everyone to congregate when desired and/or get away from the crowd when privacy was desired. The back deck is right behind the 6th-hole tee for Gypsum Golf Course - we never tired of watching the action. This place is phenomenal!
Melinda C. Aug 2015
House was perfect for our family and our activities. Plenty of parking space and close to trails. Med assist was handy and quick when our son needed stitches! Loved the house!
Kraig L. Jul 2015
We loved our stay in Colorado. The property was wonderful and worked well for our family vacation.
Chris D. Jul 2015
The house was great. We had a couple of issues at check in, but the management company handled everything great. We would use this house again. Perfect for traveling into Glenwood for rafting, hiking and the adventure park.
Lori G. Jun 2015
It felt like home.
We will definitely be back.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Timberwolfe. The house is very beautiful and spacious. We were very satisfied with the price of the rental. We would definitely stay here again and recommend family and friends to this property.
Manager response:
Thank you for this great review and recommendation. We are happy to hear that this home was perfect for you stay and that you enjoyed the spaciousness and great price. We can't want for you to visit Vacasa again!
Jean H. Jan 2015
The house was a beautiful place to watch the snow, and the kids were able to safely sled and build snowmen in back on the golf course. It was quiet, spacious and warm and combined the best of suburbia with being out in the country.
Mickelle S. Nov 2014
We enjoyed our stay at this vacation house. It was very large and spacious, the kitchen had all of the cooking supplies we could possibly need and the location was lovely.
Susan S. Sep 2014
We were in Colorado for our sons wedding and the whole family stayed her at Timberwolf for a week. The house is spacious and family friendly for large groups visiting in living and dining areas. We loved the patio and outside fireplace. Also the views are spectacular on the golf course with the mountains. We would love to come back again sometime!
Jacey T. Jun 2014
We stayed here with friends and then made the short drive to Glenwood Springs to use the pool. We found the house to be spacious enough for 3 families and we really enjoyed eating outside on the deck. The backyard overlooks the golf course and has a serene feel. We would definitely stay here again.
Paul K. Jan 2014
Amazing House!! The telescope was a nice bonus. Loved the master bath!! Was a very pleasant experience and will rent this again if we do anymore ski trips to Colorado.
