As one of the first homes built by the renowned Sea Ranch architect Joseph Esherick, Eurella has the added distinction of being the house where Esherick stayed while he was building the famed Hedgerow Houses.

Beautifully set on one acre of land guarded by a cypress grove, Eurella is full of coastal light and comfort both inside and out. Perched along the Sonoma Coast, The Sea Ranch is a nature lover's paradise -- think tidepools, wildflower meadows, and redwood groves at your doorstep. Nearby highlights include community heated pool and hot tub (South) (3-minute drive), Pebble Beach access trail (3-minute drive), Black Point headland trails (4-minute drive). Trails lead from your door to the bluffs, beaches, and through the forest. Heated pools, tennis courts, a fitness center, and The Sea Ranch Lodge round out the amenities. Stock up in Gualala, just 10 minutes south, where you'll find grocery stores, restaurants, a hardware store, and gas. Bodega Bay is a beautiful drive for fresh seafood.

This home sits on the ocean side of California Highway 1 in the southern part of Sea Ranch, with a trail that leads from the back deck directly to Black Point Beach (a five-minute walk) and the Bluff Trail. When you're not out hiking, beachcombing, or catching a glimpse of whale spouts on the horizon, you'll be a quick three-mile drive from the always wonderful Twofish Baking and eight miles south of the Surf Market, Trinks Cafe, and Four-Eyed Frog Books in downtown Gualala. Charles M. Schulz-Sonoma County Airport (STS) in Santa Rosa is the nearest airport, about 1.5 hours east. A car is essential for exploring the area.

April through June is peak bloom season along the Sonoma Coast. The warmest months are June through September. Expect coastal fog most mornings that gives way to sunny afternoons.
