The cabin was perfect for our visit to Mt. Hood. Location as good, easy access to Restaurants, market & Sandy, Oregon. Kitchen spacious and stocked well for cooking meals.
If we return to area we will definitely rent again.

Tiny little cabin. Location was great. Place was clean.
Paola S. Jun 2022
Very comfortable place. Ok, no washing machine or dishwasher but very functional. They could fix the kitchen faucet so doesn’t splash and the shower handle but we were very happy. Also, please place a recycle bin! Would stay there again.
Manager response:

We had plenty of peace and quiet with a cozy feel. plenty of hiking trails surrounding us. Hit up the zigzag Cafe on Lolo pass they have a binder of all the trails.

This little house is perfect for a weekend trip! In such a cute town, not a far drive to trails in the gorge and right next to Mt. Hood! Town it’s in is adorable. Has great amenities like a smart TV, coffee maker, and such a cute little yard! Would definitely go back!

Nice small get away at my hood nothing flashy but still nice, recommended for a couple and maybe one kid. Great that they allow dogs!

This is a nice little home, great location in Mt Hood National Forest, close to so much. Wonderful that it was dog-friendly, and basic necessities provided in the kitchen area, etc. Overall this was a very comfortable stay.

One minor observation I would make is that the tiny bedroom is separated from the kitchen area by a thin curtain, not a door, so the refrigerator is basically four feet away from the bed right near the doorway. So if you are a light sleeper like I am, the fridge kicking on in the night is actually quite loud and woke me up a few times. I mention this as a heads-up to future guests rather than a complaint really--the fridge is not abnormally loud or anything like that. It would be nice if there were perhaps a pocket door rather than a thin curtain/no door there, but again, not a major issue. Just if you're a very light sleeper, you may want to bring earplugs.

Loved the rustic feel of the cabin, the proximity to Sandy Ridge and the best fish n chips. We wanted something that was small and quaint and stayed warm. two thumbs up!

Wish to have fire starter on site. Also we need much space to hang ski jacket, but there aren’t any hanging hook in bed room. The kitchen was lovely. One chair was broken. Should be taken away. Over all, it was simple, but beautiful stay. Thank you!
Manager response:
Hello Yoshie, Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We have notified our local management team of the broken chair to have it removed. We have also forward your suggestion regarding adding hanging hooks in the bedroom. We apologize for any inconvenience and do hope you will allow us to host you in the future.

I loved the house. It was quaint and perfect for a weekend getaway. Bring wood as it is not provided. Also the internet had to be reset which was fine but if you are not good with technology it would have been an issue.

My biggest complaint is that I left my personal pillow on the bed and contacted Vacasa the day after. They said that it had not been found which is very disapointing.
Manager response:
We are happy to hear you enjoyed your stay, Jessica. We apologize that your pillow was not able to be located by the local staff. We will reach out if it is found. We hope to host you again soon.

The cabin was exactly as described and shown in photos on the website. It was perfectly clean and well maintained, and everything worked. Kitchen was very well supplied, and the bed and couch were comfortable. You could tell that the owner, the property manager, and the housekeepers take pride in providing a great property.

A couple minor issues....the hot water in the shower was kind of finicky. It was hard to find the sweet spot between freezing cold and scalding hot, but we were able to manage. Also, when using the provided electric skillet, the lights dimmed when turning it on, and it seemed to struggle to stay hot. Again, we were able to manage. Neither of these issues were anything more than a slight annoyance....definitely not a big enough deal to subtract a star over.

We greatly enjoyed our stay, and would gladly rent this cabin again.
