Good location

Condo is within walking distance to the Sitzmark, Alyeska day lodge, and Jack Spat, restaurant. The cost of two night stay was very reasonable. It was clean and well maintained. But the key code to get into the unit is unnecessary too complicated. The key code is 10 digits long, (are you kidding me!?) and if the finger pressure is not just right, it will not work. Plus just entering the code does not open the lock. You have to turn the central key cylinder to the left to unlock the dead bolt. (You drink to much at the Sitzmark your not getting in.) The noise from the occupant from the unit above, moving across the floor was very loud. Loud enough to wake a sound sleeper. Weed smell from users in the adjacent unit was very pungent. Had to turn on bathroom and kitchen fans to dissipate smell somewhat.

The house was very accommodating, slept 7 easily, the hot tub was great, we really liked that separate towels for the hot tub were set out in a basket for us. We don’t need anything that wasn’t already there. The large windowed were beautiful! It was a very nice winter stay.

Planning your Alyeska vacation

Do you love Alaska? Do you love to ski? If so, Alyeska Resort in Girdwood, right outside of Anchorage, might belong on your travel bucket list. Reserve a cozy Girdwood cabin rental, and you're on your way to a winter sports haven with the striking peaks of Chugach State Park setting the scene. If you need a break from the ski slopes, pay a visit to the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center, where you'll get the chance to see bison, moose, and maybe the center's grizzly bear, Hugo. On a clear day, the views from the Alyeska Resort Aerial Tramway are simply breathtaking.
