Great location, very convenient to Mt Snow and Stratton. The house was very well maintained and very clean. It was perfect for our family!

I loved the play area downstairs for the kids. It was beautifully furnished and impeccably tidy.

Real quiet and mostly clean. Everything you need for cooking. There's nearby general store in case you forgot anything. We lost running water after a couple of hours there, but it turned out that it was just the breaker for the water pump, after that was switched back on, we we're great rest of our time there.

Lovely house out in the woods. Freezer was not fully working, but otherwise it was lovely.
Manager response:
The owner is working on getting a new freezer. Thank you!

Home was just what we needed. A peaceful, clean and quiet place to read, craft and nap. Took several day trips to explore Vermont, but it was nice to have a comfy place in the woods to return to each night. Not much in the immediate vicinity, but close enough (25 min) to some restaurants, markets, etc. I was so psyched to see that the owner collects cook books from around the world - oddly, I am a cook book collector and love just reading them! 😊

My wife and I stayed at this beautiful home because we were looking for a quiet cabin in the mountains where we could get away from it all for a few days. This home fit that description perfectly! Although it is in a neighborhood, the other homes are spaced far enough and the trees around the house made it feel secluded. The house is clean and well maintained. The kitchen is well stocked and there is a very nice gas grill. The beds are comfortable and my wife loved the large master bath with a jacuzzi tub. Our dog absolutely loved the huge front porch which gets great sun in the morning, lazy dog days laying in the sun. The house is close to Mt. Snow and Stratton. There are a couple of general stores within a short drive that have all of the necessities you might have forgotten to bring. Overall, this was a really nice place to stay. There is not a lot of commercialized shopping in the immediate area which was ok with us. There's not a lot of anything except trees and mountains! We had a great stay here and would love to come back again.

Great house for a family or group of friends. We were not impressed however with the maintenance of the outside of the house, feedback was sent to managing agent.

Spacious, clean and comfortable home, close to Mount Snow and Stratton Mountain skiing. We loved the ease of access, enjoyed the game room and especially the jacuzzi after skiing. Well equipped kitchen, enjoyed cooking a meal there. Love the Wardsboro country store and closeness to some great restaurants in and around Manchester VT. Even with a rainy Sunday managed to keep ourselves entertained with Roku TV and some fun board games. Will definitely spend more time there in the future.

Stayed for a ski vacation. Very convenient to Mt. Snow. Small supermarkets close by were more than adequate also.
Only real complaint was mattress in master. It had completely collapsed on one side. Assuming that is addressed I'd have no problem recommending the house to others. It was very nice. Would stay there again.
Manager response:
The mattress in the home is an adjustable air inflated/deflated mattress. We have confirmed the mattress is functioning correctly and believe a guest must have deflated the mattress. The control is located on the bedside table. Thanks!

My family including our dog had a wonderful ski getaway. 20 mins to Stratton and ten to Mt. Snow. Kitchen had everything we needed with new toaster, coffee maker, plates, glasses etc. House was clean with mostly newer furniture and new linens. On demand hot water meant we did not run out even when using the jacuzzi tub (very nice). Internet worked great and we brought xbox for entertainment so we had netflix/amazon. Definitely exceeded our expectations.

My husband, our friend, and I stayed at Oak Hill for the Columbus Day weekend. The home was immaculate, but we weren't overly impressed as a whole. The twin beds in the downstairs bedroom were very hard and quite uncomfortable; I have a bad back and woke up very stiff. Although we were asked to be considerate of the neighbors, they had no such compunction, and kept us awake from 2 to 3:30 in the morning. There is no TV or cable service, there is no coffee maker or toaster oven in the kitchen. The home is not located close to a town or any points of interest, so we drove to Manchester (about an hour away) and had fun going in and out of the shops there as well as having dinner in a few of the really good restaurants there. The home is located in the middle of the woods, although I got the impression from the pictures that it was on a hill overlooking a valley. We really enjoyed the weekend, but as I said, the house was just ok.
Manager response:
We are disappointed to see this guest wasn't happier with their time in this rental. The owners will be providing a coffee maker and toaster oven right away. We wish the guest had contacted us about the neighbors so we could have assisted in enforcing quiet hours. There is a town about 10 minutes away (Mount Snow) that has shops and restaurants as well. Thanks!

My husband and his parents stay at this home for two nights and were very comfortable here. We didn't realize the home did not have cable but that was just fine since we spent most of our time hiking and shopping. The master bed has adjustable firmness on either side and the jacuzzi tub is wonderful! The home has a very nice porch with a doggy gate so that was perfect and our dogs loved it. We enjoyed the pool table and game room downstairs in the evenings and the location of the house was just fine for us even in the off season. The couches in the living room were very worn and had some holes in the seats but we laid blankets over them. Overall this was a great value and we enjoyed ourselves very much.
