My wife and I live in Savannah but decided to stay here after getting married so that we could spend the weekend downtown. It was a lovely place with a fantastic location right in the heart of downtown.
-walking distance to great shops & restaurants
-tons of mirrors (women, we like this, right?)
-great natural lighting in living/kitchen
-wonderful secured entrance
-very noisy, especially if staying on a weekend
-tub is lovely, but impractical when it comes to washing hair
-needs more/better lighting in bedroom & bathroom
All in all, it was terrific. Full of romance and charm.
This is a very great location. We walked to everything the entire stay, parking only a few blocks away and paid 15 for almost 3 days, super cheap. The condo is adorable, everything you could need and more, the layout was perfect
Perfect location, walkable to everything downtown. Cute furnishings. Everything you need...... except a shower. There is a beautiful clawfoot tub that would be delightful for a bath. But a bath isn't always feasible. There is a handheld piece, but no shower curtain so splash back gets everywhere.
We loved our stay, very relaxing and comfortable!
Close walk to all stores and lots of places to eat.
Loved the closeness to river front, historic buildings, museums, food etc. We could walk everywhere! Was very comfortable to stretch out and relax. Was nice to have dishwasher and laundry, and a nicely furnished kitchen. Apartment had all things needed except the ice maker in the fridge never made ice even with it being selected. The tub while beautiful, was very difficult to get in and out of and bathing with shower nozzle provided was beyond awkward for a 6'2 frame.
Although close to all things we liked, street noise was loud, very busy street at night w cars, loud music etc. Wore ear plugs each night. Noise from floor above was also pretty loud just from tenant walking, Maybe no insulation? Could use better curtains to block light from street at night.
Would probably stay again but in a unit that had a full shower and on third floor if available. Door to place should be made clear as it is not on Broughton street, but around the corner. A resident coming out of the Broughton door helped us. It was a great location and had lots of historic charm which was enjoyable. Price was good! Very clean and neat. Air conditioner worked great. Couch and bed were comfortable.
We appreciate the guests feedback. The welcome email states the location of the entrance as well as the lack of shower. The noise is a common issue with downtown units and can vary depending on the time and day. The ice maker has been addressed and we have recommended light blocking curtains to the owner for guests satisfaction.
The unit was conveniently located to downtown activities. It was was clean and comfortable. Great stay!
Great location on second floor with elevator to help when bringing up luggage. I was a little nervous about the keyless entry thanks to some reviews but I much preferred it to having to keep track of the key between my boyfriend and I. You need one combination for the exterior and another for the door to the apartment but they’re simple to memorize.
The place can be a bit noisy but we had no issues sleeping. The location is great, within walking distance of most of the night life spots we wanted to go to. The only draw back was the lack of a shower. There is a shower head on the tub but no curtain so be careful when exiting the tub.
There’s no specified parking but the Robinson Garage is only about a block and a half away from the entrance and averaged us about $7/ day if you plan on driving/renting a car.
Everything is in walking distance. Savannah Serendipity is a romantic unit, loved the space and the decor. Affordable price than any other units and we got fully equipped kitchen and spacious living room with a bedroom with lots of closet/storage space. Great pick for our very first visit to Savannah.
The Savannah historic district is an ideal location for walking tourists. It is compact in size, and has a high density of historic structures. Near the apt are plenty of places to eat. I grew up 90 miles from Savannah, and have visited it many times. With the passing of the years, it has only grown better.
Great place and location.
