This was a great house tucked in the trees along the West Bay Beach. Within walking distance to a couple dive shops and a short drive to all the hot spots in West Bay and West End. The only negative at all was the internet which proved to be non-existent most days. The sand fleas where also a problem, but that’s what you get when you rent a house right on the beach.

fantastic location. Easy walk to West Bay. Next door to two wonderful small resorts with great restaurants. Be aware you cannot use the pool at the next door locations if you are not staying there, but the restaurants are always available. Loved the privacy of the beach and the house. Just two of us, but would have accommodated more.

This place was amazing. The location could not be anymore ideal. The most gorgeous beach front right outside your door and a convenient location walk-able to West Bay or West End. I would definitely stay here again and recommend!

We fell in love with the island of Roatan during a cruise we took in February 2018. We immediately knew we had to come back for a full week to explore the endless reef. I came upon Casa Tayana during my endless searching for the perfect adults only getaway and knew this house was exactly what we were looking for. It has a true Caribbean Vibe to it with the open air shutters in all the rooms and even the showers! You really do feel "one with nature" when living here. We had 3 couples staying for the week and had plenty of room to enjoy each others company while also having private alone time.

This house can definitely accommodate families but the WiFi was spotty the entire time so don't plan on them having hi-speed internet access to stream games and TV. It didn't affect our stay at all because we wanted to get away from all things technology and just enjoy the private beach this house has to offer.
Another huge plus to booking this house was the concierge service that was offered to us with Christopher and Jesse always a phone call away for anything we needed! They hooked us up with a dive shop and recommendations for all the good areas to see on the island. I swear we called them all hours of the day and they always answered with a cheerful attitude and willing to help us with anything. They made our trip that much more enjoyable and carefree.

When planning your week long trip look up when the cruise ships will be docked. The ships were only docked 2 out of the 7 days we were there and let me tell you there is a HUGE difference in the feel of West Bay on cruise days. We loved venturing down there on all the other days because it wasn't overran by all the vendors and tourists.

This house is VERY centrally located between West Bay and West End. We walked to West End the first day and it was a very treacherous walk on the beach. We had to "hike" over a lot of rock formations to get there so I recommend a water taxi to take you there. The walk to West Bay was a lot easier just had to cross over a VERY TALL bridge in front of Gumbalimba park and around a corner and you'll run into your closest bar and down the beach to everything West Bay has to offer.

No tourists ever gather outside of this house and the water taxis are not parked there all day long like they are in front of many other resorts and houses on West Bay. Gives you a true private island feel when you wake up and just hear the waves crashing and the birds chirping.

Beautiful house and amazing beach. It is hard to imagine a better location on the island. A few infrastructure issues held this place back from being a top tier rental. The intranet was very sketchy the whole time we were there. This had the added difficulty of making it hard to contact the property manager when needed. One of the bedroom AC units did not work so that room was smoking hot during our stay and the management seemed unable to address this issue during the 6 days I was there.
The drinking water was a bit under resourced as well. My complaints were all first world problems really but unfortunately it did impact our stay.
