My girlfriend and I came up from Freeport for a little getaway.
As we turned into the winding driveway, I could tell I was going to be happy with everything. It was private, on the water, and was exactly what I needed. The view was incredible to say the least. It was a stunning location! I liked the small pines that were in the yard too. The proximity to everything was very convenient, with the local shopping stores just 10 minutes away. It was a fantastic cabin and we would certainly come back for another visit in the future. Really great place.

Charming cabin on the water with a spectacular view over Moosehead Lake and its islands. Falling asleep and waking up to the sound of the waves rolling onto shore was lovely. So peaceful!

Quiet, peaceful location - can't see the neighbors! Beautiful view as the cabin is right on Moosehead lake. No Wi-Fi, but we got a very good 4G LTE Verizon cell connection there. Very clean and comfortable property with everything you need. Be sure to use the lockbox on the railing by the side door - not the one facing the lake. No cable TV but it gets a few digital stations via an outside antenna.

Loved the location with super privacy, beautiful views (especially the sunsets), camp big enough for adult daughters to visit and spend the night, very much enjoyed the rustic nature of the camp. Somewhat difficult water entry for swimming and kayaking. Overall a great experience and would consider staying again in the future,

Great traditional Maine lake camp in a really great location. We had a very relaxing and fun week. I would highly recommend this camp to anyone looking for fun, quiet and a beautiful lake.

The sunsets were amazing. We viewed them from the dock. Quaint little cabin with enough room for 6 people. We enjoyed eating dinner on the updated porch.

This house is very comfortable for 5-6 adults. The location is beautiful and private.

Clean. Basic but adequate amenities. Rustic. Great location and amazing view. Two nights was definitely not enough. The only slight negative was the requirement to carry the trash to the dumpster in town. The fees added to the rental was more than the nightly rental and more than sufficient to cover trash pickup.

Very peaceful yet close enough to everything we wanted to do. Kayaking moosehead lake, hiking Baxter state park, visiting the local towns and shops and exploring the northwoods!

We love the location, the house is comfy and we love that we can bring our dog!

The swimming is great and very easy access for kayaks. The remote location is wonderful for unwinding and the sunsets are beautiful. Lots of loons this year.

The cabin was perfectly adequate for our needs, as we were traveling with our 2 year old Golden Retriever puppy. The cabin was totally equipped with everything we needed, and we enjoyed
The Cabin was in a perfect location to explore the surrounding area around Moosehead Lake and Lily Bay State Park, only two miles away from our Back Point cabin. Great swimming and hiking in the immediate area.

The cabin was adorable, and the view was breathtaking! It was nice to unplug and relax right on Moosehead Lake. The area was secluded, calm, and quiet. The deck and dock were especially great!

After more than 25 years visiting all around Moosehead, this has been one of my favorite places. Wonderful setting. Close enough to Greenville for any necessities; but sTill a nice headstart toward the Golden Road. Wonderful interior layout and porch. Glad to see the lakeside deck is now complete. Looking forward to coming back in 2015. Bringing friends this time.
