We liked the property and location. Home is very nice only issues we had was that TV didn't have many channels, but upstairs we had Netflix so it was ok. We spent most time out in nature looking at mouse and leaves. Also didn't like that we HAD to take TRASH on checkout or pay a fine. Not big deal just didn't like the threat of fine.

It was great to be in a "cabin" that was very far from anything but still connected to the outside world if needed. The water is crystal clear and everything around is quiet and relaxing. It had enough kitchen gear to cook easily and the grill looking down to the lake was very nice. We saw plenty of deer, turkey, and moose to make this place a great memory. Thanks for having us.

The house is nicely set on First Roach Pond, tucked away from civilization. With that said, be aware you may get stuck in the driveway if you get a snow/ice storm like we did. A major reason we booked this cabin instead of a hotel was to have a fire in a woodstove after a long day of hiking. Although the property is listed as having a wood stove as one of its amenities, there was a large sign on the stove that read "not for rental use." We weren't too happy after already purchasing firewood and supplies on the way up there. We lost power during our last night, which shut off the heat, and left us with no other means of warming the cabin. The cabin is nice overall, a little outdated in terms of beds/bedding, but would be nicer for a summer get away.
Manager response:
We sincerely apologize for the lack of wood stove; this has been removed as an advertised amenity. Thank you!

Couldn't have been better. Great location to be alone and cabin clean and well kept.

Great location with beautiful waterfront. The cabin has a spacious living dining area that accommodates 4-6 people well. The beds could use some updating and just know with 6 people you are sharing 1 bedroom and a loft with multiple beds. The place overall was in great shape and you cannot beat the location on 1st Roach pond! We were all on a fly fishing my trip and it accommodates is well.
