We loved our stay! The house was clean and so comfortable. Amazing views from the dock The swimming dock was a bonus. The water was beautiful for swimming but wear water shoes. We hope to stay at this spectacular placate again some time!

This was better than expected. The cabin is beautiful and totally secluded. I loved watching the sun rise while sitting on the dock with the dog playing in the water. Already looking at dates year.

Took family vacation here for week. Beautiful lake views. Swimming, kayaking and campfires by the water. Bring good swim shoes with toe protection, lots of slippery rocks. Full kitchen with most everything you need for meal prep. Town is about 30 minutes away. Water is from well so not crystal clear, recommend bringing own drinking water. Interior and deck both welcoming and comfortable. Teens loved loft, kayaking, swimming and tanning on dock. Adults loved relaxation and quiet.

Beautiful area! The home was exactly as it was pictured. We stayed for a weekend getaway and couldn't have asked for a better time. We also had a young bull moose come visit as I drank my coffee on the dock one morning! The camp is in a quiet, private location. The water was great for swimming- shallow so the dog liked it too. We will surely be back!

Really nice cabin right on the water. We enjoyed the dock. Saw several moose on the road leading to the cabin.

We liked the property and location. Home is very nice only issues we had was that TV didn't have many channels, but upstairs we had Netflix so it was ok. We spent most time out in nature looking at mouse and leaves. Also didn't like that we HAD to take TRASH on checkout or pay a fine. Not big deal just didn't like the threat of fine.

It was great to be in a "cabin" that was very far from anything but still connected to the outside world if needed. The water is crystal clear and everything around is quiet and relaxing. It had enough kitchen gear to cook easily and the grill looking down to the lake was very nice. We saw plenty of deer, turkey, and moose to make this place a great memory. Thanks for having us.

The house is nicely set on First Roach Pond, tucked away from civilization. With that said, be aware you may get stuck in the driveway if you get a snow/ice storm like we did. A major reason we booked this cabin instead of a hotel was to have a fire in a woodstove after a long day of hiking. Although the property is listed as having a wood stove as one of its amenities, there was a large sign on the stove that read "not for rental use." We weren't too happy after already purchasing firewood and supplies on the way up there. We lost power during our last night, which shut off the heat, and left us with no other means of warming the cabin. The cabin is nice overall, a little outdated in terms of beds/bedding, but would be nicer for a summer get away.
Manager response:
We sincerely apologize for the lack of wood stove; this has been removed as an advertised amenity. Thank you!

Couldn't have been better. Great location to be alone and cabin clean and well kept.

Great location with beautiful waterfront. The cabin has a spacious living dining area that accommodates 4-6 people well. The beds could use some updating and just know with 6 people you are sharing 1 bedroom and a loft with multiple beds. The place overall was in great shape and you cannot beat the location on 1st Roach pond! We were all on a fly fishing my trip and it accommodates is well.
