The house was beautiful. We loved the hot tub. One unusual feature was that the dining room table was upstairs from the kitchen. After a long day of hiking, not everyone was up to any more climbing.
The place is super well decorated and has everything you need for a vacation. Lots of fun things to do nearby.
The house was a perfect location and the beds were great! The property management was VERY responsive as well. The only drawback is the dining is upstairs from kitchen. Getting kids out the door by 630am for training was a little rugged with up and down the stairs with food.
Updated, beautiful, tasteful decor and clean, all the amenities and with a much needed post-mount hood-climb hot tub soak. The easiest rental experience I’ve had when compared with vrbo or Airbnb.
We loved our stay here. Cabin is well-appointed, walking distance to Government Camp and the hot tub was a nice bonus! We'd totally stay here again.
Great rental, only stayed two nights, but it was comfortable and well appointed.
This was by far the best lodge I've stayed at for a ski trip. Everything was renovated beautifully - from the decor to the furnishings. There were ample supplies for almost any occasion, and the house was super clean & welcoming. I literally couldn't have asked for a better space. I'll definitely be back if I'm in the area again.
Great location for getting up to Mt Hood for skiing and other winter activities! The pellet stove was broken but the property manager left additional heaters for us which was more than enough. House was great, a bit of an odd layout with kitchen on main floor and dinning table upstairs but that’s minor. Hot tub was great. Would have been nice to know that the washer and dryer were downstairs (we didn’t want to go down as the downstairs unit was occupied) but the washer and dryer are accessible. Also hard to get a fire in the upstairs fire place because the wood was cut way too big to fit. Otherwise great location, very comfortable and plenty of space. Would definitely go back!
We appreciate your feedback and apologize about the pellet stove as well as the washer and dryer. Our Local Manager is aware of the pellet stove and is currently working on a solution. Additional information about the washer and dryer will be updated in the units notes as we want guests to be aware of the amenity location!
Very nice chalet style home located within easy walking distance to stores and restaurants. Overall very comfortable with a few funky aspects. There is no eating area provided on the level that has the nicely appointed kitchen - the dining table is located on the upper level that has a rather steep set of stairs. There is seating on this level and a coffee table, so we ate in the living using that. Lovely front deck with huge hot tub and nice outdoor seating, but no table for eating outside. This was not a real issue for us but it was a bit of an unusual layout.
This house is recently renovated and it is SO cute. The furnishings are contemporary and fun and the house is 99% equipped with everything you could possibly need for your stay (cookware, sundries, cleaning supplies, fresh linens, wifi, Netflix, etc). I only had two hangups--one is nit picky and the other is good for travelers NOT familiar with the area (like myself). First, I was visiting Mt. Hood for a wedding and there was a brand new ironing board ready for use but no iron. I know, very nit picky but I needed to be non-wrinkled for the wedding. Second, the house is incredibly close to the surrounding properties so there is zero privacy. My husband and I felt strange about using the hot tub on the porch because there were about 12 guys sharing the house next door and the porches were about 10 ft. apart. If you are familiar with the area and know that going in, then this is definitely a great house to share with friends and family. If you like your space when you go on vacation, you may feel a little "on display" at times.
The styling and decor choices of this chalet are on pointe. They’ve done such a beautiful job making many spaces to retreat to and the location couldn’t be more convenient. Quick access to trails, trillium lake (which we did stand up paddle board yoga on and I highly recommend that!), the adventure parks to go play and be a big kid, and so so much more. I would love to come back and recommend this rental to anyone!
Great place, fully updated throughout with modern mountain decor. Easy walk to town, resort and hike/bike trail system which starts just down the street. Property manager was very helpful when we had an internet connection issue and ensured a wonderful stay.
