We love the deck overlooking the lake. The location is gloriously remote, and not crowded. Our kids enjoyed the beach and the docks. We had a really good time riding bikes at the scenic bike trail. We saw a cow and her calf, a pelican, turtles, and many more wildlife.

We very much enjoyed our stay here. The house looks to have been recently renovated and was wry clean. I was impressed with how clean the house when we arrived.

If your looking for a quite little house to spend some time, I would recommend this one!

Despite the cold temperatures we absolutely enjoyed this home. Had everything we needed a great indoor area to store our bikes and a good location to ride the trails. The town was cute (very tiny) and far off the main highway but worth the scenic drive. Thanks for a great time (bring DVD player & movies) the antenna only gives3-4 channels

The home was nice and clean. The beds were comfortable and you couldn't ask for a place closer to the biking trail. After a long bike ride you can come back and go next door to have a great big ice cream cone! Great view of the lake from the deck.

Sunset Cottage is the perfect hangout for exploring Harrison and the Trail of the Couer d’Alenes... no need to drive anywhere for three days. Sweet, but food options are limited. Bring groceries!

We were very happy in staying at the Sunset Cottage. The home was very clean and it had all the accommodations to make it pleasurable experience. It also is pet friendly which makes it a plus for pet owners.

Loved this clean and cozy cottage! Great location and it had everything we needed. We have particular needs with our diet so we brought our own food and cooked. BBQ on the deck came in handy!

The house has a welcoming & comfortable feel - quaint. The nautical decor and extra touches make me want the owner to decorate my house! The crockpot, grill, and new pans made fixing meals a breeze, though be warned, you'll be washing dishes by hand. I didn't mind, but may take paper plates next time. There will certainly be a "next time".
The lake view on the deck is fabulous! Especially at sunset, which may there the cabin gets its name, and the beach is only a block away. My family loved it!

The house is well decorated and has a great view. The ice cream shop and restaurant/bar are next door.

The house is in downtown Harrison ID, next door to the icecream shop. It is an easy walk to anything in town. It also has easy access to the Trail of the Coeur d'Alene's. We especially enjoyed taking the trail north and east. There is a lot of wild life along this trail including ducks, geese, herons, deer and signs of beaver. We had a great relaxing time.

Rented for weekend with friends to attend Octoberfest. The house was wonderful.....they only thing that was annoying is that the owners live right next door and seemed to be nosy showing up several times without notice. They were very nice it just seemed that we were being watched the entire time or checked on and reminded that the mayor lived next door on the other side?? So.... if privacy is what you are looking for it is not here.....otherwise a great property. Clean and cozy.
Manager response:
We apologize if our guest felt the owner was being intrusive; she was so excited to have guests here! We have advised her we will address any necessary visits from this point on. Thank you!

This is a very lovely cottage, tons of attention to every detail. It is situated right in town, so you can literally park and walk everywhere. The kitchen is very well stocked with all sorts of utensils, even a crockpot and blender. The decor is charming. The back deck is awesome and overlooks the lake. Very clean and nicely done.
