Nice and clean, great property and perfect that we could bring our family dog. Will come back!
We stayed here as a family of 4. Kitchen is well appointed. Loved the heated garage for ski gear over night. The gas fireplace made things extra cozy. They had extra bedding, hairdryers and toiletries. Felt like it was a bit of a checklist to get through on the day of checkout, but perhaps that's standard. We really enjoyed our stay!
Great location to all mt hood has to offer. Ski bowl is very close. Even though Skibowl lifts were still closed there was plenty to do. House was very clean and fully stocked with all the basics you would need. There was sleds, bikes and snow gear in the garage. Washer and dryer was very useful after day in the snow. Facility had heated pool, hot tub and sauna. Distance to the clubhouse is a little bit hike and not much parking space available nearby. Other than that there isn’t anything negative to say about the place. We had a great stay.
Pool, trail around Collins Lake and local activities were the best. Our family had a great time. No AC but temperature was just right. Plenty of space. Lovely kitchen. Our dog got to come too which was a nice perk. Would be nice to have free WiFi. Some of the movies were missing.
Lots of space. Nice facilities. Enjoyed the deck off back in the sunshine & peaceful private outlook. Girls enjoyed the pool & hot tub(s). Nice to have a garage to put the car in.
This unit could use some attention. Bedding and pillows were old and worn, no shelving in bathroom for guest toiletries (and very little counter space), no hooks/rings to hang a hand towel next to sink in upstairs bathrooms, kitchen was poorly equipped — knives were dull with loose handles, lots or random mismatched utinsels and dishes, no measuring cups or even a rubber scraper, badly scratched up non-stick pans, etc. Window coverings are broken down, and don’t provide much light control (the bedroom window in the front of the unit had lots of light coming in from the building across the way at night). Luckily, there were only a couple of us staying there, so my son moved to the room with no windows to sleep.
This unit could use a good spring cleaning — dust bunnies in corners and on base boards and in closets, random overspray of paint on walls/ceiling (obv DIY project), even an outdated gaming system taking up room in a closet — why?
On the upside... Vacasa was actually very easy to work with; the view out the back is quite nice (backs on to a pretty treed area, and spaced far enough away from other buildings to have some privacy), and it’s in a good location to buffer road noise (some units in CL have lots of road noise).
It did the job, just not one of my favorite CL units.
The pillows have been replaced, and we have ordered a new knife set, cooking set, and measuring cups. The window blinds roll down and don't allow much light in at all. Thank you!
Clean, Neat, Comfortable, Easy location
It was great and the house was exactly as expected!!
Everything was very nice at the place. We really enjoyed it. I would have given a 5 but the upstairs window wasn't working during that time so it was so hot :(. Other than that it was really lovely
Comfortable furnishings for a family. Casual, warm and cozy. Lovely location.
We had a great ski vacation at Mt Hood. The condo was great for our whole group and we loved walking through downtown, all very close to the home. Cant wait to come back.
A nice condo community with easy access to winter activities. Units all seem to have the same or similar setup, handy having garage access. This particular unit is well set up and reasonably clean and well appointed. Two issues could be easily corrected, and would have made the stay more enjoyable. First, two pieces of dining room furniture were broken and unusable. When I sat down to dinner the first night on the bench, it collapsed and I nearly fell to the floor. An email to the manager with a photo went unanswered. We simply worked around it. Also, $20-$30 spent at the dollar tree on kitchen tools would go a long way (measuring cups so worn out they are unreadable, scissors not useable). Overall a good experience and a warm, comfortable stay.
We apologize for the broken bench and unanswered email. The staff has been retrained on promptly responding to guests, the dining bench has been fixed, and the kitchen items have been updated. Thank you!
Great place to stay... outdoor hot tub in the woods is fantastic
Collins Lake is a great location. This property is in need of some updates.
I hope they clean the carpet leading up the stairs. Definitely not worth $370 a night, plus cleaning/service /taxes. We will not be staying here again.
We are sorry to see this guest was dissatisfied with this home; the Property Manager has been advised.
Over good place to stay, just needs new sheets and some wash rags
Went down for some April snow and the conditions did not disappoint! The property is beautiful but really surprised there isn't wifi or anything beyond basic cable. In fact, the channels on Direct TV didn't even work. With hockey playoffs on in the evening, it would've been nice! There were hairs in both showers as well. Otherwise, big condo fully stocked.
This home is charming and spacious with all the amenities and extras a large family is looking for. Had a great stay here and loved its location near food, groceries, entertainment, and snowboarding resorts. Highly recommend this home for interested people.
The front entry to the unit is a door, which opens to a steep set of stairs going up into the unit. The pitch of the stairs is set to the legal maximum limits, which is really steep. We have a 2 year old that needed constant watching so that she wouldn't go near the stairs, and since no safety gate is provided, nor did we know of the danger when we rented the unit, we feel the responsibility should be on Vacasa for providing adequate warnings and safety restraints prior to booking vacationers. These stairs are unsafe for everyone, but especially seniors or young children. Additionally, if your booking thru Vacasa, you will not receive internet. There is plenty of WiFi available in the area, but Vacasa doesn't provide the password for it, not matter how hard you try. Our cell phones barely worked so we didn't have much outside communication( which was kinda nice in a way)
Thank you for your review. We appreciate your concern and can assure all future guests that the stairs are legal and to code. We do not offer a WiFi password for this home as we do not advertise WiFi for this condo; we apologize if this was a difficulty for you. We hope you found the unit beautiful and made great memories!
Portland heat wave made me desperate to find a place to hang out - cool off - and relax with my 3 girls. Our condo was a perfect location to the pool, by the tree's and walkable to restaurants and the store. Wifi available only in the clubhouse took a bit to figure out...but all good after that!
My stay was for myself and a couple other attendees at Dave Lyon Summer Race camp at Timberline, and the location and features of this vacation home worked excellently! We had quick access up through town up to Timberline each day for the early on-snow, and walkable access into town was great.
Great location...Had a great time...
Rid the smell and get AC..then Perfect!
As far as cleanliness goes the place needs a good scrubbin & a nice shampoo to get rid of dog smell & a few minor set backs (toilets & hot water) other tha that it is a very nice place to stay. Perfect location near the back, yet still close to the pool.
Thanks for your review. This is one of our pet friendly units, we're sorry you were expecting a pet free environment. We're glad that you enjoyed your overall stay.
this was our first time to Mt.Hood and stay with with a vacasa rental. our children had a blast! our rental was super cozy and family friendly! it felt like home away from home! the only thing I'll bring next time is a baby gate as I have a lil walker that like to explore! other than that best place to stay!
Thank you for sharing your wonderful review about your stay. We are excited to hear that you enjoyed the home and your first trip to the mountain.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the booking and check in process was easy!
Thanks for providing a pet friendly unit. It's why we chose your place and will definitely be back again! Thank you!
Fabulous, clean, nicely appointed .
Unit was in great condition and very well stocked with everything cooking, as well as games and movies for both adults and kids. Gas grill was also a plus. Would definitely stay here again - great quick getaway to cool, clean mountain air.
Had a very pleasant stay at the Collins Lake Condo X-112. The unit was immaculate, quiet and convenient to all points of interest.
Great place, but call ahead for pool conditions if that is an important part of your stay.
We had a great time at the resort!! Such a nice and beautiful place!! The house was so clean, neat and comfy. We did not want to leave. There was enough room for us and our 3 small dogs. Love the near by trails to be able to walk the dogs. We would for sure come back. Thanks so much for sharing your home.
I recommend putting a femine product dispenser in the clubhouse. I had to drive to rodenendran because none of the places open at midnight had any.
Thanks for the suggestion, we will pass it on to the HOA. We are glad you enjoyed your stay!
We loved the condo, it was clean and it a great location! We were able to walk to ratskeller and other places! The condo is actually bigger than what I expected and we all slept comfortably even our dogs=) I will be back to stay in this unit and highly recommend it and Vacas rentals to anybody. They were very helpful, there office is open late wich is very nice!
Really enjoyed staying at Collins Lake 112. This is a beautiful and well kept chalet with all the amenities needed, and then some, after a long day on the mountain. No complaints, truly had a great stay and would recommend it highly!
Perfect ski location and Government Camp property
