Fabulous, very clean, conveniently located. I would recommend it and would stay again!!

The unit is really spacious, more than I expected. (Would have been better only if the master bathroom had more space instead of the oversized walk-in closet). Even with a king size bed in each room, there was plenty of space. The beds were firm and comfortable with enough pillows. Comfortable chairs and couches. The place was clean, except for the balcony that was covered in many days/weeks of bird poop.

The kitchen was well stocked for cooking/baking essentials. Unlike other vacation homes I've rented before, this one had zero essentials (e.g. salt, pepper, cooking oil, maybe some coffee, a few spices). It is not expected but makes stays easier when you don't have to run out and buy every single basic item. Vacasa did provide a welcome bag with dishwasher and washing soap - enough for 3 washes. Again, for a weeklong stay would be better to provide at least soap for 1 daily dishwasher cycle, otherwise, there's another run to the shop (very convenient to have CVS within easy walking distance).

Everything was working, but not in perfect maintenance condition. Example the dishwasher and fireplace were not secure so could topple over. Faucets needed just the right touch to shut off, and toilet flush handles needed the right jiggle to stop running, the boat lift worked intermittently either due to corrosion on the plug or bad spot in the power cable. Overall not bad, but not perfect either.

Also, unlike other vacation homes we've stayed in, this one didn't have a warm welcome feeling but clearly a rental management mentality. It would have been handy to have a little folder explaining a few things and providing tips (e.g. where the dumpster is located - by the exit, night fishing on the dock - look for a timer switch to turn on the lights, beach parking requires a permit available at convenience stores, etc.) While most things about the area can be Googled, it is still helpful to have a local/property owner's inside tips to get the most out of the stay.

Vacasa provided the wrong WiFi password so that caused consternation on the first night. Also, cable TV didn't initially work (management company had no advice other than to say we should call cable company) and internet stopped working a few times that required resetting the router (not necessarily anyone's fault, would just be nice not to have these problems on vacation). Internet was blazing fast so that exceeded expectations.

Vacasa was also weird with a request to extend our weeklong stay by one day. First they quoted us $544 (for a Monday night), then after challenging them they dropped to ~$340. This really made no sense as 1 night's rate for that day was around $150 and even with a booking fee of say $30 and taxes didn't come anywhere close. This is probably not specific to this property but some weird Vacasa issue. We didn't stay the extra night, and the property owner missed out on an additional night's rental for no clear logical reason.
Manager response:
We appreciate this feedback. Our rentals do not provide spices or condiments to avoid possible contamination, and we do only provide a starting amount of paper and hygiene products. The WiFi is working well, and the fireplace is stable. This is a brand new unit for us, so we appreciate any feedback we receive for improvement. Thank you!
