Really nice place, all the amenities, comfortable and cheery, the beach just a short amble across bustling (not!) Pacific Avenue.

It was perfect for me and my dog. It is a quiet and peaceful spot. We got to do daily morning and evening walks, which my dog loved. There was barely anybody around, which made it even more perfect. As the shower/bathroom is small, it worked. No cell phone service, but I could work from my MacBook. Thank you for sharing your cute little beach bungalow! I love MoClips.

Its a lovely small cabin very close to the beach, Beds are double and shower is tight so not great if you are very tall, was fine for my husband and myself. Has everything one needs for a vacation space.

The cottage is small but worked for our family of 4. The kids loved how close we were to the beach. They're already asking to go back!

What a wonderful place. For a couple or small family with a pet. open your door to a beautiful beach scene. Minutes from the beach. very comfy place with awesome beach atmosphere. we will definitely be back. Had the most amazing weekend.

Enjoyed our stay at the cottage. We had a mostly stocked kitchen, fireplace, the place was roomy enough for the 2 of us and our 2 dogs. Only thing was shower was quite small, but water was hot ! Close enough to beach and a small view. Met 2 neighbors who were friendly. Would stay here again.

Our stay was wonderful and so relaxing! There were even ‘dog’ towels left for our use if needing to dry our puppers off after playing on the beach all day! My only suggestion is to bring a cozy blanket to keep warm with while sitting on the porch enjoying the sunrises/sunsets and to bring a sheet to cover the couch/beds. I tried my best to keep my dog off of both but she would sneak up in the middle of the night

This was a great place to stay. There's a small view of the ocean and having Wi-Fi was a bonus. If you're clamming, you'll need to bring your own large pot for processing, otherwise it was well equipped. We would stay in this home again.

Moclips is a very small town of beach homes on both sides of a street. Driftwood Cottage, though on the 2nd row from the beach view, had a beautiful peek-a-boo view of a few days of fabulous sunsets. A short walk down the street to the beach. It is a dog-friendly cottage on a secluded beach that a few pups loved racing about on. I dont think we ever had more than 15 others on the beautiful NY Eve beach.

We mostly just enjoyed the residents and hanging out at the simple and tastefully decorated Driftwood Cottage, but took a few beach and woods hikes and even drove down the coast for opening day for razor clams. We did enjoy the stocked firepit in the long driveway on NY Eve!

Come prepared with food desires if you don't want to hit the few local restaurants, as The Country Store has minimal supplies.
The Cottage has adequate cookware. We did have a few issues with w of the burners on the cooktop. There also were 2 outlets with lamps in the living room that did not work.

Except for under the couch cushions, the cottage was clean, the beds were super comfy with extra bed linens and towels.

My one suggestion is the booking. The home said dog friendly. As I was completing the booking process, the agreements said no dogs. I called and was told yes, they were okay and I could add after booking. I was told it was $20 per day extra. I agreed and when I went to add them, it was more like $25...PER DOG. Very misleading, as I was up front that I wanted to bring 2. It should be in the initial booking, that way, if I want to back out, I am not penalized. Rates should be posted, not sprung on you after you are locked in.

Manager response:
Thanks for staying with us, Tina! We appreciate your detailed review. Our local manager has been to the property, and the stove and outlets are all working properly. For the pet fee, it is $20 per dog per day, and there are taxes involved as well.

This very cozy, tidy, two bedroom (small rooms with full size beds) cottage is steps from the beach. Moclips is a lovely, clean, wide beach and is dog friendly. We rented the place at the last minute to get away from the heat wave in Seattle. We arranged a late check in with ease. The management company was pleasant and responsive. Some other pleasant touches: an easy to use DVD system with a nice DVD library, an electric kettle, a clean gas grill, lots of towels, comfy beds, and a gas "wood" stove that heats up quickly. This cottage is on a dead end street that is very quiet. A well stocked kitchen will allow you to cook whatever food you bring along.
