This stunning home on the Gulf of Mexico offers picturesque views courtesy of an amazing deck overlooking the water. The great room offers a stunning view of the Gulf of Mexico with a soothing soundtrack of summer waves and pleasant breezes. It opens onto a beautiful porch overlooking the gulf and is the perfect spot to catch some rays or watch the kids play in the surf.
The open kitchen has everything you will need for making meals together, including an oven/cooktop, blender, coffee pot, microwave, dishwasher, stainless steel refrigerator, and double sink. An expansive bar provides plenty of counter space, and the dining room has a large table for 6. If you're in the mood for grilling, there is a charcoal grill underneath the house so you can cook while the kids catch fish or build sandcastles

This house was perfect and we had lots of fun. The internet was down at the beginning but once we called it was taken care of very quickly.
It was really nice to have the private beach to only those in Audobon.
This house is AMAZING!
The views are gorgeous and you get SO MUCH house for the price. We definitely are planning to rent this house again.
House is literally right in the ocean. You can walk down your deck and your in the water. Has a private gated entrance. Plenty of room.
This house is as close to the water as you can get and is beautiful. Plenty of room for our group and master bedroom had everything you could ask for. Their was a few minor issues but the handy man they have on staff fixed anything we needed right away and was super helpful with info on surrounding area.
The house layout was great for a bunch of women, and the Audubon Sanctuary was right beside us! Took the 15 min walk up the beach everyday to see the baby great horned owl. Got great pictures! Food on the island was super--we ate like queens! Cooked at the house most of the time--bought shrimp at the local fish place near the light, and fished with local guide George Harrison and cooked fresh speckled trout on the grill. Had fun at the Islanders one night where we had dinner and joined in on the trivia night--grear fun!!!
Great view. nice beach right on the water. Very nice house.
The Beach House is a very spacious and functional home for multiple couples. The House literally sits over the water...especially AFTER Tropical Storm Gordon washed away more beach. Sitting under the deck with your feet in the Gulf is a perfect respite from the sun. A few glitches though...two of the queen sized beds had old mattresses that rolled you into the middle...these were extremely uncomfortable and need replaced. One window in the Master suite would not close tightly and leaked water when it rained hard and the wind blew(Tropical Storm Gordon). The owner stopped by after the storm to check things out and was very polite and informative...he stayed and cleaned up the beach area of debris. The Rental staff was outstanding in communications and quick to act when we lost water due to a broken water line into the house. Overall a wonderful experience!
We enjoy every minute of our yearly family vacation. The house, the Island, the experience and memories. Audubon place is the perfect "neighborhood" and this rental company couldn't be any easier to deal with it. All around great experience.
Beach house provided our family of 13 with a relaxing and happy memory-making experience. The layout and location of the house was great for accommodating "littles" and "bigs"
This was our fourth year at Beach House and we have already booked our 5th! It is perfect for our family. You can't beat the access to the beach and the view from the deck and rear windows!!! It is literally all right outside your door. Large kitchen, 4 1/2 baths! It is a quiet end of the beach and the water is perfect for our six grandkids....enough waves, but not too much. We bring our food and just enjoy hanging out and being together. If you want lots of glitzy activities this is not for you. If you want to be right by the water with plenty of room to spread out and enjoy your family then you cannot do any better than Beach House.
Loved vacation home. Gated community made it a very quiet location. Right on the beach. Very spacious. Needed a few repairs in the upper deck. Lower deck was being replaced.
The view from a chair or lounge on the deck was WATER,beautiful and serine. Walking in either direction on the beach was 's 1 mile to Fort Gaines, past the Bird Sanctuary where we enjoyed the Ospreys diving for fish. Early Fall is the best time to visit, not a lot of people on the beach and the water is still warm.Found a couple of sharks teeth and many tiny sand dollars. The house is very comfortable, however lacking dining room chairs(the agency brought us a card table & chairs so everyone could enjoy dinner together and share their adventures from the day!The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of bathrooms for this size house. The kitchen was well equipped(bring your own plastic food containers) We've booked the house for next October so we can enjoy the islands' Arts and Crafts Fair. Enjoyed fresh seafood from Skinners and Shrimp and grits at the Islander. Be sure to take the ferry to Fort Morgan, it is fun for the kids or the young at heart and don't miss Lamberts(Home of the thrown rolls)There is a ton of fun stuff to do on the island. We've been coming to this island for 5 years now and it never disappoints! We love it here!!! Enjoyed the evening sky, filled with stars (the Milky Way was visible). Saw many dolphins playing just off shore. I can't wait til we go back!
This beach house is awesome and great location and very close to the water. This house has plenty of room for everyone. I will be renting this property again. The only complaint is there needs to be more bath and kitchen towels. But not a deal breaker.
The "Beach House" that we've already scheduled for next year, was perfect! Clean, roomy enough for our entire family and a place we look forward to calling our home away from home, for many years to come. The location, in Audubon, is picture perfect. The perfect sand, the abundance of birds, fish, the adorable foxes who visited after night fall and the nightly crab catching (and releasing) has all made an impression on our family. The dolphins made the few raining mornings worth staying in and watching from balcony. The town, restaurants/bakery and perfect boutiques were the icing on the cake! Thank you for sharing your little peace of heaven with us for a week. -Until next year!
This was our 5th time to go to D.I., but our first time not staying on the west end of the island. We were not disappointed. The location was wonderful! You could not get any closer to the water, and we were able to it under the house when we needed shade instead of setting up umbrellas. The house was well appointed and had everything we needed.
Very relaxing loved being right there on the waves! Was able to leave the doors open allot of the time we were there!
We had a wonderful stay at the Beach House! We couldn't have asked for a more relaxing setting and better weather. Would definitely return!
It was amazing! Being able to bring the entire family together under one roof again was priceless. The house made it very easy to just hang out, talk to one another all while listening to the waves of the ocean.
Our family of 10, including teens and seniors, all enjoyed the week. Plenty to see and literally on the beach. 2 dolphins put on a show for us one afternoon, just a few feet from our sunbathing teens. It really made the vacation for them. We would definitely recommend this rental.
