Tranquility falls made for an amazing weekend getaway. The pictures do not do this place justice. Everything was perfect. The only issue we had was all the propane tanks were empty and we had to run up to Dollar General and make an exchange. Other than that it was just what the Dr ordered. A nice relaxing weekend surrounded by nature and the sites and sounds of the backyard falls. The pitch swing was by far my favorite spot to take it all in. The gas fire place was nice and cozy and the game room made for some friendly competition. We would love to come back with the family.

Beautiful place and relaxing atmosphere. Which we could have stayed for the whole time but had to leave a day early for family reasons. Will definitely like to go back for a future vacation.

We loved the ease of access and central location in relation to Cherokee/Bryson, Dillsboro/Sylva/Webster, the Blue Ridge Parkway, and Pisgah and Nantahala national forests. While the Whittier exit is a little funky (you'll go in a circle through town off the exit), the drive to the house is completely paved except for last 1000 feet or so. We've stayed at mountain homes in the area and the drives were a bit more adventurous. This was a piece of cake.
Because of the ease of access, Tranquility Falls makes a pretty nice base camp for a small family (3-4 people) or two couples. The highlight of course is the series of cascades in the backyard. The house is setup to view the creek from every room including the kitchen, dinning room, and deck. About the only thing missing from this rental is a hot tub, but a few of the larger cascade pools make for nice soaking tubs (especially so since the heat index was pushing 100 during our stay).
If I had to nitpick, I would says that the upstairs AC wall unit is a bit on the loud side (enough to cancel out the sounds of the falls), and there is a solar-lighted utility pole that throws a lot of light into the master suite (it's a bit like Alaska's "Midnight Sun"). If you like your bedroom completely dark, this might not be the rental for you. I worked around the issue by wearing a sleep mask. As for the upstairs AC unit, this wouldn't be an issue during cooler nights/months (again... Highs pushing 100 and lows only went down to about 75 at night during our visit... so, it was hot!!!). I did not dock any points from rating due to these little issues (since you can't control the weather). It's a nice house, and Vacasa had it clean for arrival. We will back to the area for sure.

What a beautiful and vert quite place in the middle of Smoky Mountains. If you want to relax and really enjoy your vacation, this is the place. We enjoyed every minute here and would live to come back next year.

Everything you want in a vacation home. More modern than traditional cabins with woodsy themes (which isn’t bad) location between Bryson City and Cherokee is perfect. Very large well maintained yard. It was very clean, everything worked as it should. Beds were firm and comfy. The waterfall stream in your backyard.. WOW!!! I spent hours by it daily. Made the trip worth every penny.. which was quite affordable. Well be back next year for sure

My daughter and I went there to read, relax and bond. That is exactly what we did. The TV was never turned on. The place has all that you need for a great getaway. The beds were not memory foam we were both use to but we were fine. Our feet in the creek, love and laughter fpund here.

I enjoyed my coffee by the falls on the rocks. My hammock beside the creek was the ideal place for afternoon naps. The fire pit was the perfect thing to take the chill from the evening air. The wife really enjoyed the swing on the deck but the creek kept calling me near with it's soothing sounds. We'll be back for sure.

We’ve stayed here several time and loved each one. It’s the best of everything: small enough and remote enough to feel like a cabin in the mountains while large enough and modern enough to feel like “home”.
