Absolutely loved the house location! The deck was used every day! Enough space inside for everyone to have their own room and bathroom. And we could bring our dogs! It could use a bit of furniture updating and the kitchen pots and pans are ready to be replaced.
I didn't give it 5 stars because the kitchen/refrigerator was not clean and the carpets were very dirty with numerous spill stains throughout the first floor.
We apologize housekeeping was not up to par. We do take cleaning seriously, even when there's not a pandemic, and will follow-up with our team regarding your feedback. Thank you!

The house has a great layout and it is very well stocked kitchen, and great seating outside. My only complaint was the very stained white carpet. Rental houses in the woods that allow pets is not a great place for carpet and especially white.

The house was spacious, well laid out and comfortable. Loved the bar/gaming area. Location was great, private except for the golfers who had a tendency to slice. The negatives: The issue with the stove has not been resolved, so we had to be careful with the left burners. The house needs a bit of a maintenance but most of it could wait until the off season. My husband had to put the shower handle back on in the main floor bathroom. Fortunately, he had a screwdriver in the car. One of the water faucets outside is dripping and will destroy the decking if not fixed. We arrived to a freezing cold house - AC was down to 64, which was quickly rectified. It would have been nice to have a few more dish towels, at least one dish rag (in lieu of using a sponge) and better quality paper towels and toilet paper. I am now thinking that we will have to start bringing our own TP. Finally, I thought we were going to have access to the garage, so that we could store our bikes in there at night or when we were away from the house but the key only worked in the deadbolt, not the handle lock. That should probably be mentioned in the listing - not a big deal but would have been helpful to know. And no welcome or "about this house" book, so we had to figure some things out. All the nit-picky stuff aside, we would definitely stay there again and really enjoyed our time there.

Loved the space for a large family and furry companion. Well stocked with games, lots of basic essential kitchen supplies, sharp knives. Spacious back yard and deck. Really met all our needs. Would return in a heartbeat.

Pros: The location was awesome, the house fit three families with kids really well. Snuggly warm and lots of room for hanging out together. Quirks: The electric stove is very outdated, and the burners are not wired correctly so turning on one burner turns on two. The sauna was broken so we weren’t able to use that which was a bummer. The driving directions to the house were not correct - you have to go and register at the welcome center at the Black Butte main entrance first in order to pay the resort fee and get the code to open the gate to the residential homes area. It took us a while to figure that out because Vacasa gave us door-to-door directions that brought us to a gate to the complex that we could not open without the code. Otherwise, we had a beautiful time and would gladly return to this house. Thank you : )
Hi, Melanie! We are glad to see you enjoyed your stay. We are looking for an electrician to handle the sauna, and we have scheduled a repair for the stove. Your feedback is valuable, and we hope to see you again!

This home was very privately situated between a lovely view of an Aspen grove with small pond and the golf course, views all around! The Mid Century architecture was great and the giant rock fireplace kept us warm. The home had everything we needed to cook and relax, even a few toys for the kids. The sauna was an added bonus.
