We love Sugar Mountain and the Reserve with their outstanding views. This was our first time in a bottom unit(either a C or D) and the footstep noise from the upper unit was awful! We heard every time they moved around their unit, sometimes very early am. Unit had a well stocked kitchen and a comfortable master bed. The carpet in the unit is badly in need of stretching as it had multiple large and long bumps. That being said, loved our stay but wouldn’t do a lower unit again!

Thank you for the great review! We will reach out to the homeowners to alert them to the need for carpet stretching . We are sure they will be prompt in having that done. The Reserve II was built with industry-leading sound buffering between units at the time, but the upstairs unit may have installed wood floors, which would amplify any sound. We will consult with the homeowners to see if there is anything we can do to rectify that as well. We look forward to seeing you again at Sugar Mountain soon!
