Conveniently located close to free dot transportation shuttles, Forsyth Park and Kroger is just a block away! We walked to river street admiring the cathedrals and architecture which took about 25 minutes. This townhouse is very old but well kept! It has old wooden floors and antique pieces here and there including the stove and hardware. The second floor can get a little warm during the day since it is an old structure but they have two fans and it cools off at night. All the rooms in the house are spacious. We felt comfortable and safe. This is the perfect place to stay if you want a feel of old Savannah!

This house is fantastic! Several times during our stay we had to stop and check with each other to make sure we were really staying in such a great place for such a great price. When you consider the prices of the hotels in the Historic District, the few little flaws we found literally didn't and don't matter. This is a LARGE house, two floors, a very spacious floor plan, giant bedrooms, a fully functioning kitchen and a dining room(!!!), as well as a washer and dryer. It's also a very nice house, furnished with quality furniture and beds (we used both beds, both very comfortable), and it even has a deck with a table and chairs to enjoy the beautiful Savannah weather.

The location is also very nice. This wasn't the best neighborhood when we first started coming to Savannah years ago, but we knew it was improving, and were pleasantly surprised to see just how improved it really was (A note: This is really almost nitpicky...we have stayed all over the Historic District, and have walked every corner of it even late at night and have never once felt unsafe). It's also extremely close to the Kroger (literally, maybe 1.5 blocks from the house), and it is very close to both the purple dot Express (which we use a lot) as well as one of the Old Savannah Tour trolley stops, so that is a plus. We very easily walked to Forsyth Park (we vacation with our dog, so this was VERY helpful!), 17Hundred90, and several other popular tourist attractions as well.

The house isn't perfect, but it's in about as good (or better) of shape as any other rental house we have ever stayed in, and we both decided we could easily live in that house just as it was. The stove is a little old, but it works, so that's all that really matters. It was clean, well-stocked with everything you need for your vacation, and very functional. The back stairwell is a little narrow, no big deal, just something to be aware of as it's the only entrance into the house. We also accidentally (and much to our embarrassment) locked ourselves out (we are not used to using keys), and everyone we dealt with at Vacasa was very helpful and responsive, and we were quickly helped back into the home.

I rarely give full 5-star reviews, but the few teeny imperfections of this house don't matter at all when weighed against how big and beautiful the house is, as well as the incredible value of what you receive for your money. We HIGHLY recommend Savannah Cove, but we just ask that you not book the same time we want to vacation there again, as we will DEFINITELY be back!
