This is a beautiful home on a gorgeous location, that is very remote. We and several of our friends had trouble finding it using gps. Thanks to Dan G for coming to find us and leading us there! We found using Lakeshore as one word got us to the correct road, not two words as listed on the website. It is very functional for cooking and entertaining, watching sunsets and stars.

The home was phenomenal. We enjoy the Solitude and having the lake basically to ourselves. Canoes and kayaks were a big bonus.

Stayed here for a weekend away with my two best friends and we had the best time! Nearby lots of different hiking, snowshoeing, and ski trails. It was a great place to come back to after a long day outside. We each had plenty of space to have privacy and it had a very homey feeling. We enjoyed the jacuzzi tub, gas fireplace, and they had every cooking utensil/appliance you could think of for the meals we cooked. The upstairs nook was also fun space to spend time in watching movies, playing games, and listening to music. We will definitely be back!

The house was beautiful and very clean. We always bring bleach along to wipe all surfaces and soak dishes before using, and the rental also encouraged the soaking of dishes although you could tell she did a thorough cleaning of the house. The rooms were lovely, and there were so many spots to sit and visit. The loft has two couches- one for watching the water, and the other for watching Direct T.V. The lake is large and the binoculars the rental provided let's you enjoy the loons and other water birds. The house has some kitchen cupboards that are locked (child proofed) so look for the magnet on the refrigerator to open them. We will be back- it is the perfect spot to stay while visiting the Porcupine Mountains and the waterfalls by the Black River.

Wonderful vacation home on a lovely lake. We stayed in every night for dinner; the kitchen was well appointed. The house has heated floors, which were wonderful at night, but be aware that they put off some heat! Nice bedrooms and baths. Only complaint is that the house does NOT have WiFi. Not sure how I missed this. We hiked every day- Ironton and the Porkies. Great home base (about 50 min to hikes in Ironton, a little over an hour for the Porkies). Used the kayaks and the canoe almost every evening. The sunsets were incredible! Nice quiet location. Fall colors were spectacular.

This home is on a beautiful lake and provides water craft and new personal flotation devices. The campfire and the stars were great entertainment. The kitchen is well equipped and the beds and bathrooms are lovely. It is close to rivers and waterfalls.

Very quiet and peaceful but don’t expect cell phone service or reliable internet. Lake is very shallow so a little tricky o fishing.

lakeshore! House was beautiful and the lake was very quiet and secluded. Having the kayaks and canoes to use was so nice, the lake is perfect for that. Our group of 8 loved our stay!

This home is off the beaten path. The large lot makes you feel like you are miles from anyone. The views of the lake were breathtaking at sunset and as we kayaked and canoed. The house was spacious and comfortable and allowed plenty of room to space out or be together as a family. Thank you for an excellent place to call home for a week!

This property is perfect if you are looking for a quiet and private get away. The home is beautiful and spacious! The lake is quiet and perfect for kayaking. Kayaks and life vests were provided which was nice. If you are looking for a recreational lake (skiing, tubing, etc...) this is not the lake for you. If you are looking for quiet and privacy then this is the perfect place for you.

Swan Cove had everything we needed - easy access to the lake with a dock, natural beauty, quiet solitude plus a spacious, well equipped home. We enjoyed watching all the birds (swans, eagles, osprey, loons, hummingbirds, etc) and the stars! We look forward to a return trip.

We stayed four night at this beautiful lakehouse. Kids loved kayaking. The house had three kayaks, one canoe, 3 adult and 3 kids life jackets. The weather was perfect, high 80's. We also visited Sunday Lake in Wakefield. Definitely looking forward coming here again. After seeing all the pictures, my daughter friends already booked few days in September. One suggestion to the owner, please add an outdoor table. I'd rather enjoy breakfast/ lunch outside rather than eating inside. Great experience!!
Thank you for sharing your feedback, Irma. We are glad you enjoyed your stay! We appreciate you letting us know there is room for improvement, and we'll pass your suggestions to the owner for consideration. We hope to have another chance to impress you in the future!

Beautiful home. Beautiful property.

We stayed during the winter season, and it was absolutely great! The house was beautiful, with all the amenities needed to comfortably relax. The full kitchen was good for making meals, the rooms perfectly fit our family, and the location was isolated -- no concerns about noise, safety, etc.. The views of the sunset over the lake and the clear, open skies at night were breathtaking. Everyone loved the location, from the parents to the kids aged 11-21. As an added benefit, it was only 30 minutes from downhill skiing, which everyone also enjoyed.

The property is fantastic and well suited for my family of six. The fenced in yard for our dog worked great... and the pristine nature of the area is amazing. Although there are a few homes on the lake, it felt like we were the only ones there — we loved it.
