Pleased to report that a new hot tub cover was installed and works great. The grill was a nice plus, although it was a little dirty. The kitchen is well stocked with plenty of dishes and pots/pans. Overall the bedrooms, bathrooms, and common areas were nice and clean (including the carpet). We would stay here again. It’s fairly priced.

We enjoyed our stay!

Pros:
1. We have a 2 month old, and his occasional crying at night on the main floor didn't disrupt those in the loft or in the bedroom on the lower floor.
2. Lots of room for everyone.
3. Awesome location, with access to multiple ski mountains and fun hiking or snowshoeing on Buffalo Mountain.
4. Plenty of cookware in the kitchen, including a waffle maker!
5. Toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, soap) were provided.

Cons:
1. The hot tub cover seems to be water logged; it is very heavy and hard to lift.
2. There is one spot on the carpeted floor between the couch and the pellet stove that was soaking wet for our entire stay; the moisture must be getting in from outside somehow.

Overall, a great spot with plenty of room and privacy for everyone, as well as being conveniently located near many fun activities.
Manager response:
Thank you for telling us about your stay. We have ordered a new hot tub cover, and maintenance is looking into the leak. We hope to see you again!

If you’re excited about this property for the hot tub, look closely at the photo they are showing here as their highlight photo. They show it off like it should be the best part about the house, but look closely! The photo has the cover halfway on, that’s because it won’t come off all the way. We called the next day and they said they would not replace the cover and there was no problem with it. There is definitely something wrong with a cover that is hard to get off at all and almost impossible to get off completely.

I wasn’t impressed with our stay, but we booked it last minute and it was the cheapest place available which still felt like a lot. I would recommend anyone looking at this property to spend a little extra cash on a different house and get your moneys worth. We have sensitive sense of smell and the first thing we noticed when we stepped in the door the first day of arrival was the smell. Like mold and dirt. It went away for my husband and he got used to it, but I lost sleep over it. We cooked all week in the house and that didn’t help. I had to cook with the widows wide open while it snowed just to keep the smoke and smells at bay but it seemed to all seep into the beds and couches anyway. They provide a broom but no dust pan. The carpet is way overdue to be replaced. The whole week just felt dirty. I ended up buying some candles to lite everyday just to stay sane.

The best part about this house were the pots and pans. Great for any cooking you need to do. I’m just not a fan of the wire electrical burners. One of them I had to keep plugging back in because it would it connect right away.

If it seems like a steal online, it probably is! Look closely and don’t get stolen like we did. Go for the middle ground not the lowest.
Manager response:
We are disappointed to read you were so unhappy with your stay. A new hot tub cover has been ordered and will be installed when it arrived in approximately 4-6 weeks. Housekeeping will check for any unpleasant odors. We do hope to have another chance to impress you in the future. Thank you for choosing Vacasa!

This house is great and looks just like the pictures! If you are looking for a good sized, priced and homey place for your vacation this is it. The price was amazing for everything that we got with it. The hot tub was also a must after the long days of being on the mountain. They also provided us with towels, toiletries, kitchen stuff, and more, which was very nice.
