A full bath features double sinks as well as a tub with a view of the environs.
A small room off the master features a futon, making this home ideal for up to eight guests. Dogs are welcome with prior approval for an additional fee.

Soothe your troubles away at this idyllic Idaho vacation rental.
Washer/dryer : Private
We loved the location, the view of the lake, nice places for walks, the cozy wood stove, and that there was no wifi or cellular coverage. It was a great place to unplug and recharge!
We loved this cabin. Great location, off the grid. Note that there isn’t really a living room or hangout area except for the dining space. Not a problem, but good to know.
The cabin is clean and has a nice view of the lake. The upstairs deck in great for morning coffee/tea and relaxing for a glass of wine in the evenings. Downstairs porch is perfect for bar-b-queuing and leisurely lunches. It is our favorite place to escape and just a short drive to Sandpoint.
This is the perfect place if you are looking to get away from cell phone coverage! We had a family get together and enjoyed every minute. The guys were able to fish in the bay and catch some small mouth bass.
We love the cozy cabin and the view.
Me qnd my family of 8 stayed and enjoyed out time. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen had everything you could need when away from home! The only thing missing was curtains for the bedroom windows. Great place we will be back!
My wife and I were looking for a place that was remote and quiet and we found exactly that in this comfy little cabin. We relaxed on the deck, watched the deer and enjoyed the peace and quiet of the lake. The location made it easy to drive to Sandpoint, the Bird Museum and numerous awesome hiking hot-spots. It's an easy walk to Odie's general store for any forgotten supplies and kayak rentals. We found the cabin well stocked with dishes, cookware, etc but be sure to check the coffeemaker/French press. We found it still rather dirty from the previous renter.
Still, overall this was a fantastic getaway cabin and we look forward to our return visit to Northern Idaho.
We encourage all guests to reach out to our Customer Experience Agents so that we are able to take care of any issues the guests have once in the home. We have local staff who are able to come to the unit and do another clean for guests satisfaction.
This home was very comfortable and cozy, not to mention very clean. The beds were all very comfortable, which is very important to us. It was located a bit further away than we thought, but the instructions on finding the home were very clear. And since it was in a very quiet, nice area, the extra drive time wasn't minded. We saw deer every day we stayed, which is always nice. We were in the area visiting family, and we were only sad we didn't have more time to spend at the house.
We were disappointed in this rental. Although we love rustic, we had no cell service at the house. Based on the listing, seeing that it was next to Garfield Bay and the public boat launch, we brought our boat with us from Northern California. After leaving home, we received an email from the manager with check-in instructions. The email informed us that we could not bring a boat up the drive-way. Wish we had known that before leaving home!! The house was clean, however, there were wasps in the house which annoyed our dogs. No wood was available at the house for the fireplace. Disappointed and left early.
We apologize for the disappointments this guest experienced. We have updated our information to address the concerns about lack of cell service and the driveway. Please note there is a house phone available for local calls. We believe the wasps must have entered the home when the guest was unloading from the car as there were no issues with wasps while housekeeping was prepping the home. We did leave some wood for the guests, and the home also has gas heat. Thanks!
Beautiful place and good view.
View, description of details, proximity to ideal location, cleanliness, availability of supplies, privacy - all excellent. Manager responsive to phone inquiries, once we left area to achieve signal. Difficult to find, no cell signal for us; issue with key box code.
Once we were settled it was an excellent stay.
Nice spot with perfect lake view through the trees. Quiet and comfortable. The short walk to the beach, which we made many times with the dogs, allowed us the opportunity to meet a couple neighbors and made us feel like locals.
Stayed here for a couple days with a few friends to relax, read, enjoy some drinks, play some chess, and discuss life. Had a great time. The pictures fairly accurately depict the cabin. It's in good order, clean, and well-stocked. The wood stove is in need of maintenance and the roof should be de-mossed. Otherwise perfect.
Cabin was beautiful and peaceful! Great view from the upstairs deck. Home was clean and well stocked. We enjoyed our stay very much!
great location- nice and quiet- smelled terrible and bring your own pillows. Also no comfortable furniture to relax on.
My boyfriend and I stayed here for a mid-week break. The cabin is clean, charming, and close to Sandpoint. Highly recommended!
We rented this cabin for our family for a wedding in the area. From the photos, it looked cute, clean, well appointed and large enough to accommodate the 6 of us. When we arrived, the front porch was filthy. All floors in the house were dirty and I personally swept them. All windows needed to be cleaned and cobwebs removed. There were tons of dead moths in all window tracks. Yuck! Also, neither bedroom had window coverings on the windows. Because of this, our son and daughter-in-law had to be moved to the local lodge to the tune of $600.00! Thankfully we got their last room. And then there's the lake. Do not believe the photos. The lake is not within walking distance. All of this was just a huge disappointment. When we complained to the management, we were told we would receive financial compensation for the conditions we found this house in. We have not received anything. If you are considering renting this cabin, I surely hope the management has corrected all of the problems we encountered. They should be ashamed to have rented this cabin in the condition we found it. Seriously lacking.
This was a very relaxing, very serene vacation for us - and this lovely cabin had everything to do with it! We loved eating breakfast and dinner at the cute farm table with a view of the lake and in the afternoon we would have a snack and read up on the balcony - such a beautiful view of the lake. The cabin had everything we needed to cook and was very well kept. It was wonderful to have a place where we could bring the dogs - it is a nice 10-15 min walk down to the beach and there is the perfect spot to let the dogs swim and play. Overall, we had a fantastic experience at Osprey Perch and Sagle/Sandpoint!
I am an widowed mom of 5 babies. This was an amazing place to go for peace and quite and be able to re-boot. I had such an wonderful time. I can't wait to go back.
Next time I might bring the whole family.
Anyone who stays here will be amazed at its beauty and tranquility.
The driveway isn't as bad as it makes it sound. I have a small Honda Fit and I was able to get up it no problem. In the winter, or heavy rain, the driveway might be an issue. Quiet, no internet, no cell reception (T-Mobile, Sprint, and US Cellular) which was exactly what we wanted. There's a small tube TV, with VCR and DVD in the main bedroom, and an assortment of random movies, though we never bothered, as we were there to unplug. Be sure to bring pantry basics with you, most vacasa homes I've stayed at in the past have had an assortment of goods left by previous tenants; not here. There was salt, and pepper (and the stated basics like dish soap, shampoo etc. that all locations have), so if you plan on cooking bring everything you need (not an issue for us). Another thing to note: there are no blinds anywhere. The main bedroom faces the east, and in the summer if you want to sleep in, you're going to be hit by a bolt of sunlight at 5 AM. There are only 2 cozy chairs in the main room, but not an issue for us, we were only 3. I couldn't see there being more than 6 adults/children tops fitting here, other than maybe squeezing a couple of infants in there as well. Highly recommended location, and will probably return annually.
Had a wonderful time at the property. Great location. Very relaxing. Great accommodations. Everything welse needed was provided.
What a great little cabin!! I was drawn to it instantly just from the pictures, and It did not disappoint! This cabin is way out there... prepare at least a 30 minute trip to the closest town Sandpoint. The view is blocked by trees and other cabins but you can still see water. Everything inside was clean and all you could need in the kitchen. The bed upstairs isn't the most comfortable, and the bathtub is pretty small. But there was a tv with DVD and VCR player and a box of movies. I'd suggest bringing your own movies and board games. Service is very low but enough to send a text. I would also bring extra wood. There was hardly enough for one fire but we came prepared.
We hit up the Captians Table bar (about 3 minutes away) for drinks and some games of pool. It was very quite but this is the off season.
The weather wasn't great.. never really got a good view of the lake which was disappointing because we've never been. And it was snowing hard when we left. But we had a great getaway weekend, exploring Idaho and taking in the views! I highly reccomend this cabin- it would be so fun in the summer! I had a bad experience with Vacasa in the past, but no complaints about this one.
P.S. they aren't lying about the driveway being steep. It wasn't a problem for us, but it was tight for our diesel truck. Wouldn't be possible in winter.
Very nice cabin. Smooth transaction.
Super warm welcoming feeling at this cabin. Beautiful view, loved the little porch off the master bedroom. Really liked the kitchen was able to make a real dinner with what dishes were provided. My favorite part was the Christmas lights on the inside and Elvis and Lynrd
A cute little cabin. Lovely view. Wood stove warmed up the place in a hurry.
My wife and I enjoyed our stay here. The setting is peaceful and quiet and the view very pleasing.
It was fantastic, beautiful, and relaxing!
The view is beautiful, the beach is close, and the cabin itself meets every need! We had high expectations for our honeymoon, and this retreat met and exceeded them!
We came from CA for our sons wedding on Lake Pend Orielle. We loved our stay. It surpassed my expectations. The cabin had everything we needed. The beds were comfy and the surroundings were breathtaking. Tge driveway is steep but not too scary.
Had a great time the view was beautiful
This was our most enjoyable stay to date! We simply feel in love with this property and location. So many places to explore and experience close by. We will be back again. We have already been sharing our experience with friends and family.
Took family to visit North Idaho and Silverwood Amusement Park, the cabin was a great home base as we wandered and explored the area. Comfortable and clean. Enjoyable location that seems private and quiet.
Enjoyed the vacation home, thanks for sharing. Great view of the Lake.
The cabin was a great place for my hubby and I to get away and unplug. We both enjoyed not having a TV, internet, or cell service for the week. We explored the area as well as hung out at the cabin, built a fire, and worked on a puzzle. Would love to come back and stay again.
This is a lovely little home overlooking Garfield Bay. Be prepared to be off the grid with no cell, tv or internet service which would detract from the peaceful beauty of the surroundings. The lake is pristine and majestic. I highly recommend this spot for a relaxing and memorable vacation.
The house was lovely and was adequate for our vacation plans (as we didn't need Wifi or a TV etc.). We were under the impression that the house had water access, as I had called to confirm this prior to booking. Unfortunately that was not the case, and we had to drive to the public area to get to the water. When we arrived at the house, there was not a book explaining the property/area, which is something I am used to when renting vacation homes. Our cell phones did not work there, so I was grateful there was a home phone for us to use for emergencies and to contact Vacasa. Our power went out for the afternoon, which is something that one should know is a possibility when renting a house in this semi-remote area.
Just a fantastic stay from start to finish. We will be back.
