This house/cabin is beautiful. You cannot beat the view. When I was looking for a place, I was looking for a beautiful view and that is what I found. However, there is a lack of outside pictures on any of the reservation sites for this propert, so I made sure I took plenty to add to my review.
The cabin was clean, cute, and nicely updated. The full wall of windows on the east side makes looking at the beautiful view easy, because you don't have to sit outside to enjoy it.. If it's too cold. TlWe definitely sat outside in the evenings when it wasn't so cold. The living room was comfortable, the kitchen was nice, and the bathrooms were nice. Please do yourself a favor and get up early before the sun comes up or stay up late and just look at the sky and listen to the silence.. It is one of the most amazing things I have ever experienced. I am used to seeing the stars in E. TX. but not the silence.. (lots cicadas and crickets in TX). I mean super still- no sound at all quiet! Wifi works well, cell service worked well. Lots of movie watching options. Tons of spices, seasonings, hot teas, a few canned goods. We made a beautiful fire in the fireplace and made smores.. That was great. (no fire pit outside..There is a fire watch anyway). Another really cool thing is that white tailed deer come right up around the cabin every morning and afternoon. I think people must feed them, because they were not skittish. I didn't feed them, because I think that's a bad idea, but I did get pretty close and it was neat. There are several trails for hiking or biking around the property.. 2 directly behind the cabin.
I have the same thing to say about the driveway as others who have reviewed this place. It is very steep and would be a bit challenging if you don't have a 4X4. We did and still slipped a bit. There wasn't any snow or anything, but the rocks and the very steep hill make it challenging. The people who stayed in the one bedroom cabin connected to the one we stayed in had a smaller car and had to gun it to get up. There is no way to get up there if there is snow or ice.
My biggest complaint and the reason I did not give it 5 stars is because of the beds. All three of them are bad. The two downstairs are wobbly and squeaky, almost impossible for two people to sleep in. We tried one the first night, because the upstairs bed is so hard it is like sleeping on the floor. We didn't get much sleep the first night, because it felt like both of us were hanging over the edge. So, after that we did sleep upstairs since the bed didn't wobble and we did not feel like we were falling off, but like I already said, it was HARD!! Please make a master bedroom with a king size bed.
A couple of other very minor irritants, the grill was such a mess/dirty, it wouldn't work. The fire wouldn't stay lit, and there was plenty of propane. Slightly irritated about this, because we planned to grill burgers and veggies. We just cooked them inside which was fine. The other minor thing was the coffee pot (easy fix).. It leaks all over the place and takes a really long time to brew half a pot. Put a dish towel underneath to soak up all the leakage. Please owners, get a new pot or Keurig. Lastly, there is no privacy from the people next door. I think there should be blinds on the side door and side windows, where they walk by to get to their stairs.
Even if none of these things change, I would still stay here again in a heartbeat!!

We loved our stay at this well appointed home situated on a beautifully secluded wooded plot. Hiking trails behind the home are perfect for daily walks. 8 minute drive to groceries and restaurants with many sacred pilgrimage sites nearby that are perfect for day trips. Pack your clubs because there is a nice golf course nearby as well.

Two couples spent three nights and really enjoyed our stay! Nice location with lots of walking/hiking/mountain biking trails, lots of deer and elk sightings, and great access to fishing, hiking, etc. that Angel Fire has to offer. The place was just the right size for four people with two nice bathrooms, a great deck, a smaller deck with the top/master bedroom, and comfortable. Sitting down to dinner inside was a bit tricky since there isn't a dining room table per se, but we made it work with the kitchen island and outdoor patio table. Kitchen was reasonably stocked but we would have appreciated a bit more supplies for cooking (no measuring cups, tin foil).
Overall, a great stay and I would recommend to groups from 2-6 people.

This home is on top of a hill with a beautiful view of the mountains over the trees. It is bright, well designed, comfortable and quiet. We found unexpected and thoughtful supplies of spices, vinegar, canned food, but also body lotions, shampoo, extra toothbrushes, medicines, etc.
The little road leading to the house was a slippery mud bath and our chains were of no help. Our neighbors did have a 4 wheel drive but it was still challenging for them to get up there.

Only issue we had was the driveway. It’s very steep so make sure you have 4WD or chains. The master bed is so firm! We had to sleep downstairs in a double bed and put our daughter up there.
Kids loved having all the space to play in the snow! The road up to the house was perfect for sledding! It’s very private, other than the neighbors renting unit a.
