Modern lakefront home w/private dock, firepit, amazing views

Plan an idyllic getaway with this lovely lakefront house just east of Lincoln City. Complete with lake views and a private dock, plus plenty of space and all sorts of modern comforts, up to eight people will feel at home here.

Located on the eastern shore of Devils Lake, you'll have easy access to any water-sport you desire, including fishing, swimming, boating, and wakeboarding. A scenic three-mile drive will put you at the north side of Lincoln City. Please park only in the four provided spaces in the driveway, as there is no on-street parking allowed.

This house feels like a modern palace, with its stone masonry and expansive lakefront yard. The owners live next door and are avid gardeners who maintain a park-like setting for you to enjoy. You'll enjoy nearly 360-degree views of the lake, and every room in the house has lake views. Inside, the comfortable living room welcomes you with a selection of couches in front of a gas fireplace. Relax with a book, browse on WiFi, or turn on the cable TV to enjoy a DVD or VHS from the collection.

Adjoined to the living room is a stylish gourmet kitchen, fully stocked with everything you need, plus extras like a blender, waffle iron, mixer, and dishwasher. This room sees plenty of natural light through the windows, and there is plenty of space to spread food out on the counters. A large dining table will fit everyone for a family meal with a lake view.

Outside you'll enjoy a lush lawn that is great for games, your own private dock, an outdoor firepit (wood for the outdoor firepit can be purchased at any grocery store in Lincoln City), gas BBQ, and numerous decks and seating areas. Relax with your feet in the sand on a small private beach, or head to the garden to watch the bees buzz among the flowers from a quiet bench. Since this home is at the end of a quieter road, you won't hear noise from the highway.

This house has three bedrooms and two full baths, making it suitable for up to eight guests. The master bedroom features a queen-size bed and spectacular views from the windows and the upper deck, which offers an end-to-end view of the lake! A second upstairs bedroom has a set of twin bunk beds and a separate twin, as well as a great lake view and access to a shared full bathroom.

Downstairs, the third bedroom has a twin-over-full bunk bed and direct access to an outdoor patio. A media room has a TV and a full-size sofabed to sleep two, and outdoor patio access. Another full bath can be found down here, as well as a private washer/dryer for any laundry you need doing.

This house is perfect for a family vacation or a getaway with some close friends - bring your boat to enjoy various activities on the lake, barbecue and relax lakeside, and roast s'mores in the firepit when it gets dark. Get close to the water by kayaking or fishing, bring your sail or motorboat to launch at a nearby park, or try to identify the myriad bird species that live here. With such awesome views, you might be tempted to just relax on the patio with a cocktail, soaking in all the beauty!

If the lake feels too quiet, you can always venture in to Lincoln City, just a four-mile drive south or a three-mile trip north, depending on which part of town you want to explore. You'll have choices for food, eclectic boutiques to browse, and of course, seven miles of sandy beaches. Some might wish to go surfing at Nelscott, while others can take a leisurely stroll to do some beach combing with their feet in the surf.

This home will provide the setting for that family vacation you've always dreamed of - book today! A damage waiver, covering up to $2,000 of accidental damage to the property or its contents, is included in the cost of your reservation.

Nothing not to like about the location and the house. Great family swim spot and place to relax in Lincoln City.

We booked at the last minute after being disappointing nothing was available on the coast. Once there we fell in love with the house and location. The property had a large backyard with lake views and is sticking out on a prime point of the entire lake. There was a sandy beach on the property with a dock that is shallow enough (with no currents) to be safe for the kids without concern. As the title stated, we came for the beach, spent 3 nights and never found a reason to leave as it had everything we needed to create memories for a lifetime. Don't forget to bring your boat/raft and fishing poles, we left with trout and caught a few small mouth bass. This place is a hidden secret and plan to make it a yearly tradition. The owners are incredibly nice and accommodating. Thanks a million for the memories!

Great house, great beach for your jet skis and boat on the lake. Not a place to stay if you are loud. Beautiful views with a park one house down.

We absolutely lived our stay! The surroundings are peaceful, beautiful, and oh so relaxing!

My family of seven recently stayed in Alder House and enjoyed our time. The weather was horrendous, so we spent most of our time at the house which offered plenty of space so we weren't all on top of each other. The house was modern yet very comfortable, and the views of the lake were absolutely stunning. Wish we would have had the opportunity to use the yard and the fire pit, but we will just have to come back in the summer to do so! The drive into Lincoln City was short and scenic, can't beat this quiet retreat!

The house and location is extremely beautiful. We were there for the solar eclipse. The only negative for us besides the extravagant fee for the eclipse rental was the bed set up for guests. The full bed with bunk over it has to go through the room with the couch sleeper in it to access the bathroom. House better set up to handle eight than 10 people.

Our family really enjoyed our stay here! The house was very clean, everything was very well organized. This house had the most complete sets of kitchen tools, dishes, glassware of any rental I have ever stayed in. Very good quality also. The house is very nicely decorated and the yard and beach areas are beautiful.

Enjoyed the stay a lot ! Home is tastefully remodeled and has a great landscape , enough greenspace for kids to have fun , a private beach area ( real sand:)) to relax and more ! Definitely will come again.

We were three families there and we had very beautiful days. We spent 3 days there and it was like 3 minutes. Very very very clean place and awesome view. We didn't go out from the house. We just walked into the backyard which is on the lake.

We have occasion to rent a vacation home or condo at least a couple times a year. We have been very lucky that we have never had a bad experience, although certainly some experiences are better than others. Without having to think twice I would give this property a 10 on a scale of 1 to 10. We wish we had time to stay longer. Keep in mind this is a two story home with entrance on the bottom floor and the common space is on the second floor. All you need to bring is food and your suitcases. On top of the house and grounds being great the Vacasa property management staff was easy to work with. We would rent from them again.

Overall this house was beautiful, spacious, and convenient. We loved having a private dock and fire pit.

The house was very clean and well stocked. There are no blinds in the bedrooms upstairs so anticipate getting up when the sun comes up! The views were beautiful and the little beach / dock were perfect for the kids to play.
Manager response:
We are so happy that you and your family were able to enjoy the spectacular views and the dock. We really appreciate your comments about the blinds. We are happy to announce that lovely new blinds have been installed thanks to your feedback. We can't wait to have you back and appreciate you choosing Vacasa.

We had a great visit to Alder House. Being right on the lake was wonderful. Kids can swim right there. We had s'mores in the fire pit by the lake. House was clean and perfect. Thank you!

I really loved the home except I would have loved to have blinds in the 2 upstairs bedroom. I felt very uncomfortable changing in the upstairs bedrooms. I wish the living room had longer windows so I could see the lake view from the sofa. There is a sign at front door please remove shoes, but the first night my son was walking down the stairs and slipped in his socks with my 3 week old grandchild. He was close to the landing and thank God he was able to catch her, but banged up his shin pretty bad. I made sure that everyone wore shoes while climbing the stairs. They wooden stairway was very slick with socks on. There was not enough towels provided and no laundry soap to wash them. We had to go buy our own soap for the towels. I would stay here again...we had a wonder time fishing off the dock. We caught some trout and saw very larger salmon that had spawned. Loved the fire pit!
Manager response:
Thank you so much for all of your feedback. It is our goal to make sure our guests have the most pleasant stay possible and have recently put up new blinds for your privacy. We are so sorry to hear about your son and hope that his shin is all healed up! Wooden stairs can be a bit slippery so we urge our guests to use caution when in socks. The home should have enough clean towels for all the guests arriving and enough laundry detergent to have clean clothes and towels throughout a reservation. We have addressed both of these issues with our local staff and they will make sure enough of each are provided going forward. Great work on catching the trout! Those must have made quite the feast. Thank you again for your review and for staying with Vacasa.

We loved every bit of our vacation. The house is beautiful and everything is there that you would need to complete it. Nice neighborhood, and people. The view is and was just spectacular. We plan to come back next summer hopefully and our teenage boys want to rent a boat to go put on the lake . One son did some fishing and found out he liked it. I just wish we had stayed longer. Thank you for sharing this wonderful house with vacationers.
