The house at one time it was absolutely beautiful. Beautiful location, beautiful property. House needs a little TLC but still is very comfortable and beautiful. (Doors and door jams have hard use and all heaters look like they need to be replaced. So I’m hanging off the walls. Others are rusty). worst of house was there was no large frying pan. Only two small ones. So making breakfast for seven people was hard with a skillet made for only an egg to fit into. Had to go to store and buy a big frying pan. Would go back to the house just know to bring cooking supplies that I would like to have.

Very nice house. Many stuff left/provided for us. Stuff like chargers, dishes, soap, extra chairs, etc. The view in the master bedroom was beautiful. The house was very modern.

An Oregon Coast vacation rental in Otis provides easy access to ocean beaches and all the hubbub in town, but with a quiet, inland location near fishing, hiking, and even waterfalls. Plus, because of its geography, while it's cloudy and cold on the coast, the weather in Otis can be sunny and breezy! When you feel like exploring, lace up your hiking boots and visit family and dog friendly Drift Creek Falls, about 12 miles away. From the trailhead you'll travel across a 240-foot long suspension bridge to the 65-foot falls coming off of the Siletz River.

Other attractions near your Otis getaway include the Salmon River Hatchery and the Salmon River estuary - here you can observe brown pelicans, bald eagles, peregrine falcons, and other types of shore birds. Of course, your favorite Otis pastime may just be relaxing on your back porch, watching the river flow by.

However you spend your Otis getaway, be sure to stop by the popular Otis Cafe for a hearty, home-style breakfast like sourdough pancakes or chicken-fried steak and eggs before you head off on a hike or spend the day out exploring the river.

At just under two hours from Portland, you can get away from it all in Otis at your very own cabin in the woods right near the Salmon River, the Pacific Ocean, and warm, dry summers.
