Shared pool, private patio, and partial mountain views!
Why stay at a hotel when you can enjoy the privacy of your own townhouse? Here in this Boise vacation rental you have a full kitchen, partial mountain views, and private laundry facilities, yet you still get access to a shared pool!
Just two blocks from Bown Crossing, this townhouse is within easy distance of some wonderful restaurants. Sports-lovers will appreciate the proximity to Bogus Basin Ski Resort, a quick 23 mile drive north. It's not far to the heart of Boise, either—just five miles away!
Bright and cheerful, the living areas are a great place to spend a lazy afternoon. Start a flickering fire in the wood fireplace, then put some music on the stereo and have a board game tournament. On a rainy day, stay in and watch cable, or use the WiFi or provided cookbooks to look up a recipe for dinner.
The kitchen features ample prep space on granite counters and plenty of fun extras for when you want to try something a bit ambitious. In the morning, brew some coffee to get yourself started then toss ingredients into the slow cooker for an easy and delicious meal. There's a blender where you can make fresh fruits and veggies into smoothies or cold soups, and a dishwasher to cut down on clean-up time.
When you've prepared your meal, you can choose between enjoying it inside at the table or taking it outside to the private patio. We suggest the latter—fresh air makes everything taste better!
Make sure to set aside some time to frolic in the newly opened shared pool. Please be aware, though, that it is only open from Memorial Day to Labor Day.
Nighttime is as comfortable as it can be in the plush queen beds found in both bedrooms. The master bedroom even has a private balcony with views of the nearby foothills! Both bedrooms have access to their own bathroom, making sharing easy.
Longer stays are no problem with a private washer and dryer. Whether you're here on a business trip, a couples' retreat, or a ski trip, this home is sure to suit.
Whether you prefer Nordic or downhill skiing, you can find it at Bogus Basin Ski Resort. If you want a bit of exercise and aren't in a big rush, you can rent a bike from the bike shop and get around that way—better for both the environment and your legs! Don't forget to pack your binoculars if you're planning to visit the World Center for Birds of Prey.
There's nowhere more beautiful for an afternoon stroll than the Idaho Botanical Garden. If you're more in the mood for an intellectual puzzle, grab your friends and visit Boise Escape—can you escape the room before the time runs out?
You'll be glad you chose this comfortable townhome for your upcoming trip to Idaho.

You can walk to great restaurants and get to the walking/bik path that follows the river quickly and easily. The condo is super clean. We will definitely stay here again.
We rented this condo for a week. It's located in a quiet part of town and backs up to a large field on an elementary school property. You can tell it's well kept and cared for by the owner. Kitchen, bathrooms and laundry were all in top shape. The kitchen was well equipped - we cooked most of our meals there. We'll be staying again...
Great place. Very clean. The townhome was in a very safe neighborhood and questions were answered promptly.
Very clean and kitchen was fully stocked. Although there is a second bathroom with a shower, it is very small and shower is not fully enclosed. It seemed more like 1-1/2 bath, otherwise, 5 stars.
The home was clean, centrally located, had wonderful baths and kitchen. The home was terrific. We will stay here again.
Very clean, well stocked kitchen, great location, updated bathrooms and kitchen.
The condo was perfect for my family. The beds were very comfortable and the condo had many modern updates. We loved being able to relax by the pool after exploring - it was quiet and not crowded. The location is very convenient. We could walk to Bown Crossing which has some nice restaurants and could walk to the Green Belt and Boise River.
Very nice, convenient and clean.
Quiet neighborhood. Excellent condo. Loved it!
Much much nicer than a hotel room! Convenient location, very nicely decorated and immaculate. We would definitely stay here again.
Total PIA to get the place reserved! After that.- excellent place to stay for the price. Called Vacasa directly and saved some money.
Great place! Everything we needed for a weekend get away for NCAA Basketball. Loved the fireplace!
The home itself was very beautiful and very well taking Care of. We would definitely Stay here again!
We completely enjoyed our vacation in Boise. The location of our condo was perfect! The house was very clean and the beds were very comfy. A quick walk and you have great access to restaurants and the greenbelt for running. Nice quiet neighborhood too! We will definitely be renting this condo again.
Customer service could be better. Pictures online make the place look bigger than it is. The stairs to the bedrooms are very steep and there were no pictures of them online. For older people like us, these stairs were not very convenient. People need to have a full picture of the place before they make a decision to rent.
Arriving to this rental, know that it is very poorly marked and very poorly lit coming from the parking lot. One of us ended up tripping and hurting themselves on the empty garden planters that were in front of the porch gate because it was so dimly lit. Inside the rental was fine, but not entirely thought through. There is a desk in one of the bedrooms, with no desk chair – so it's not feasible to use for work. The light switches work in the opposite direction, press the button down to turn the lights on. The bedroom door stuck so badly it was a moment of panic thinking we were not gonna be able to get out. Our biggest issue, was with the rental company Vacasa, it was very difficult and took us four times to email in our agreement instead of the requested & rather antiquated fax. Each time they asked for something new they wanted. It may be simpler & safer to find another listing.
We are sorry to hear this guest had difficulties during their stay at the Bown Retreat. The numbers for the unit are clearly marked on the garage (as seen in photos #23 & 24) on our webpage. The parking spot is also numbered and sits directly in front of the garage and unit location. The planter boxes display beautiful flowers and vegetables during the growing season; however, being November, this is no longer the case. We apologize if they proved to be a nuisance for our guest. A chair is in the bedroom with the desk (as seen in photos # 20 and 21) for guest convenience while utilizing the desk in the second bedroom. The light switches on the staircase are purposely tied together so the stairway lights can be controlled from either up or downstairs. We have done this for our guest safety. Had the lights been turned from the opposite level they would then switch in the other direction. We have looked at both bedroom doors to assure they are not sticking. Thank you!
I enjoyed my stay at the Bown Retreat and would definitely stay again. A couple of light bulbs needed replacing and it was dealt with promptly. It was quiet and clean and convenient to downtown. I also love that there are walking trails nearby.
Just make sure you understand all the documents you will have to provide before you can complete the rental process
Quiet neighborhood and close to downtown.
Very clean and beautifully decorated. Comfortable.
We were at the Bown property for a month, and it was the perfect spot for us!! There was plenty of room, very comfortable beds, very well equipped kitchen, and a very quiet location. The location was perfect for us. My husband could easily bike the area, and we were within walking distance of eating places. There was a market near enough by, but you would need a vehicle to get to most locations. We will definitely be back!!!
We loved our stay here and our brief visit to Boise. This condo had everything we needed, was updated and tastefully furnished, quiet, and comfortable. No complaints, we'd come back again in a second!
We stayed with our two teenagers and had a great time. Very comfortable and cozy. Great kitchen, fireplace. Great river walk nearby. Good view of the hills from master bedroom. We would definitely stay again.
We had a most enjoyable stay...such a clean condo with much attention to detail. Lovely artwork on walls, furniture, upscaled European linens & bedding. Marble bathroom made us feel like royalty. Will stay here again. Thank you.
Would stay here again. Very, very clean. Beautiful bathrooms, great beds....All and all perfect.
This is the perfect place for us while we move our daughter into her apartment to begin her 1st year at BSU. It is located around a very near residential neighborhood. Love that! I definitely stay here again!8
This unit is very nice, clean, well appointed and the second shower is a hoot to use. Reminds us of Europe. The neighborhood is quiet and safe and the walk to the river trail is short and well worth it for great exercise. Minutes away from downtown by car to some great restaurants. You will enjoy staying here and the manager, Debbie, is very personable and extremely responsive.
The home is in a scenic corner of Boise that's near good restaurants and walking trails. The place is well-stocked for a comfortable stay, including all of the essentials for a home-cooked meal.
Very clean property. The beds and furniture were very high quality.
