For quick and easy access to boundless outdoor activities throughout the year, you really can't beat this home's location. Come during the winter to experience champagne powder-laden slopes just steps away from your doors, and you'll find horseback riding, kayaking, mountain biking, hiking, fly fishing, rock climbing, and more in the area during other seasons.

Modern cabin accents combine with wildland-themed decor to create a warm and inspired interior in this two-bedroom condo. Settle into the living area's plaid pattern couch and, if it's chilly outside, quickly warm the room by turning on the gas fireplace. An oversized HDTV hangs above the stone hearth and provides cable and DVD capabilities. Breathe in the fresh mountain air from the outdoor deck, which sits through a set of sliding glass doors attached to the living area and also offers amazing mountainside views.

With a plethora of amenities at Club Solitude, you'll never have a dull moment off the slopes. Enjoy its fitness center, family-friendly game room, pool and foosball tables, sauna, movie theater, and more! You could even head over to the large community pool for an invigorating afternoon dip, or wind down your day with soothing soak in the shared hot tub. There's also a storage locker for all of your winter gear, as well as a heated underground parking facility.

When it's time to eat, whip up fresh, homemade meals in the full kitchen. Meal prep and cleanup are easy thanks to modern appliances, ample granite countertops, and varied cookware. Dine together at the six-seat wooden table, or take the meal onto the deck for al fresco dining.

At the end of an activity-filled day, retire home for restful sleep in either of two bedrooms. Accommodating up to eight guests with a king bed and in the master suite and a queen bed and sofabed in the guest suite, the bedrooms also offer amenities like TVs and deck access.

The master bedroom boasts an incredible king-size bed, along with another HDTV and access to the private deck's stunning views. The guest suite offers two beds - one queen and one fold-out sofa - a third TV, and a separate bathroom. This, combined with the living room's fold-out sofa, means that up to eight guests can enjoy luxurious, restful nights after a full day of activities.

While you'll certainly have plenty to keep you entertained just steps from your doors, day trips also abound. Take a 29-mile drive northwest into downtown Salt Lake City for museum tours, eclectic dining and shopping, and visiting cultural landmarks like the world famous Mormon Tabernacle. If you're a sports fan, make sure to catch a Utah Jazz NBA game at the Vivint Smart Home Arena, or a world class soccer game at Rio Tinto Stadium, home of the Real Salt Lake MLS team.

Nice clean and quiet condo. Close to the slopes. We enjoyed our stay.

Great location, clean, and the owners were very responsive. We were skiing Brighten and Solitude and this location was perfect.

Powderhorn is well located in Solitude Village. Easy access to slopes, ski school, rental shop and (v. limited) village restaurants.... Unit 209 is well situated right next to stairs for easy access to main floor and parking (and elevators are close too) when needed. We had 6 kids and 2 adults. With that many, there was no living space to congregate other than the dining room table. But we weren't there to spend extra time in the room and it was a v. cost effective accommodation. Kitchen well stocked w/ flatware, dishes, cookware, etc. - needed some more drinking glasses. Place was pretty clean and it was nice that they provided cleaning/bathroom supplies. But, I did find some trash behind a bedside table and a towel behind teh bed, and we were initially short 2 pillows until we requested more (which arrived quickly). So, housekeeping could be more professional/thorough.

Picking up and dropping off the key cards sub-optimal - requires a stop each way at a lock-box on the side of a building a mile before the resort. Benefit of lock box is that you could arrive and depart any time - including after business hours - and be able to get the key cards. But it is an extra stop that should be eliminated (either w/ technology or having the key cards in the village). 3 card keys were provided - wish we had more for the 8 of us. Also, there were numerous reminders that if we lost any of the key cards there 'could be' either a $25 or $50 penalty - which in addition to being inconsistent, seems way too much to replace a plastic card - Could you imagine if your hotel charged you $50 if you needed a new key card printed. That would be nuts and I don't see any reason for a different analysis/conclusion here.

Kids enjoyed pool and hot tub at Club Solitude - pool should be about 10 degrees warmer though. Daily smores a nice treat. Big screen room only used 2 nights a week, so it sat empty most of the time. They should have movies playing all of the time.

Solitude is a great mountain to ski for all ability levels. It's not the laid-back locals mountain it once was, but still much more laid back than PC or DV. Any if you buy lift tickets in advance online, only about 1/3 of the PC and DV day rate - so a v. good value.

Rental equipment just OK, pretty old and beaten up. Instructors for private lessons mixed - 2 were young and only provided lessons part time on weekends (and it showed). Other instructor was a full timer, very experienced, and great....

I've been skiing in Utah for 30 years and enjoy each of the 8 mountains I rotate through. For a family vacation where you want to give kids some freedom in a safe confined environment that is easier on the wallet with top notch skiing, Solitude is great.

I would rent this unit again.

The location was terrific. The apartment was comfortable and well equipped. Check in/ check out was easy and they accommodated an early arrival.

This is a very nice 2 bedroom condo and is nicely decorated and furnished. It is an excellent value compared to other ski condos we've rented at other ski areas. The beds were very comfortable and we didn't hear noise from other condos. The location of the condo was very convenient, close to the stairway and ski lockers. It is only a short walk to the lifts and you can practically ski back to Powderhorn's door, making it easy to come back to the condo at lunch. The view from the balcony was very nice even though we were only on the 2nd floor. The skiing at Solitude was amazing!!! The Village was very nice but it would be nice if there were more restaurants and stores. I would definitely return to Solitude and would be happy renting this condo. Renting through Vacasa was very easy and the rates are much less than renting through Solitude.
