Romantic oceanfront cabin w/ iconic views of Manzanita shoreline/Neahkahnie Mtn!

Situated between two state parks and perched 200 feet above the surf on over an acre of private, oceanfront property, this cabin offers spectacular views of
the North Coast. You’re able to sit cliffside (200 feet above the ocean) and view the Manzanita shoreline, the south walls of Neahkahnie Mountain, surfers (directly below), windsurfers, whales and, of course, sunsets. Eagles frequently perch in trees along the property, and deer will cross by in the morning.

A perfect romantic getaway for one or two couples, the recently completely remodeled property includes:

- Two master suites, each with a separate entrance and full bathroom. There is a complete kitchen on the upper level and a kitchenette and laundry room on the lower level.
- New fixtures, cabinetry, appliances, furniture, and flooring throughout.
- A stunning, Alaskan yellow cedar deck with teak Adirondack chairs, a new Weber BBQ, and a gas deck heater.
- A picnic table and large firepit in the center of the property.

Public access to the beach is a short walk down the road and the charming town of Manzanita is a short walk or bike ride away.

Comfortable, well appointed, marvelous view. We'd stay there again in a heartbeat.

Perfect for a quiet, romantic getaway!
Kerry H. Oct 2018
The view was amazing! It was private and off the beaten path. The place was super clean & had everything we needed. Very cozy. Nice, new deck and chairs.
Terrence D. Sep 2018
The view was spectacular. The property had everything one could ask for (privacy, quiet, amenities, THE VIEW). We are definitely coming back again.
Jean H. Sep 2018
The location was wonderful...wonderful views, and close proximity to Manzanita and Oswald State Forest.
Jeffrey L. Aug 2018
What a great little cabin. Near the end of the road overlooking a fantastic view of the shore for miles! Perfect for two upstairs (they were working on the plumbing downstairs when we were there - point off for that). We really appreciated the preparations that Vacasa and Kenny took for us - everything we needed was there. The shower activation is a secret but we called Kenny and he talked us thru it. Kenny was great. You'll love this "nest" - trust me.
Michael W D. Jun 2018
the privacy, the view. The access to town.
Cindy M. Jun 2018
Small secluded cottage away from the noise of a summer beach with a great view!
Shana B. Jun 2018
I loved everything about this place. It was perfect for our weekend on the coast. At the end of a quiet road with a breathtaking overlook and a short walk to the beach, this place had everything we were looking for. I would definitely stay here again.
Jason W. May 2018
Loved the quaint, bright little space! Absolutely beautiful!
Gina L. May 2018
Cottage was clean, orderly and arranged for comfort. Perfect for two people. All necessary cooking/kitchen ware were available therefore making eating in pleasant. Location to hiking trails, beaches and towns very easy. Quiet location with a great view. Enjoyed our stay.
Ben N. Apr 2018
Really, this place was perfect. It is cozy (but not too small for two). It was immaculately clean, and has a wonderful cliff side view of the ocean, and easy driving access to the beach. The amenities were perfect and I cannot think of anything that could be improved out our stay.

Nice but small
Jason W. Mar 2018
Just glorious on every level. My only notes: Bring your own firewood and coffee grinder, and don't forget to place a full pot of water on the fire burning stove to humidify. The place provides hanging cooking tools, just remember to only use the rubber spatula in the drawer on the non-stick skillet. The freezer should only be set to 3 or 4, because it froze most of our food/bev in the fridge on the high setting. Most important tip!!! Leave the key to the DOOR in the lockbox always and only use the key to the BOLT. That way, you will NEVER lock yourself out. Enjoy. One of the best places for a couple-getaway on Earth.

My husband and I stayed for two days just to get away. Very peaceful and relaxing. Perfect place to get away.

The property was very beautiful with amazing cliff top views of the ocean. The studio was comfortable and very private. The view of the ocean from the bed was our favorite part. We enjoyed our stay and would like to stay again. The only complaint we have is that we thought there was going to be dry wood for us to burn in the fireplace. The photos online show dry wood to be burned in the wood stove. The only wood that was in the woodpile was too wet to burn. So we would have like to know that before arrival so that we could have brought some of our own.

Really hard to beat for a relaxing short vacation value. We loved it!
Karen H. Nov 2017
This cozy cabin is tiny but stocked with most necessities. The view of the ocean from inside the cabin is beautiful and watching the waves standing at the edge of the property is amazing. It's a bit of a drive to the end of the road in Neahkanie--and quite dark at night--but well worth the journey.
Mika D. Nov 2017
We loved everything from the simplistic romantic clean and comfortable decor to the views to blow your mind. Such an incredible place. Vacassa and the owners made this a little piece of paradise and we are greatfiul to have experienced it.
Kristen C. Nov 2017
Gorgeous view, cozy and clean... a perfect location for a couple’s getaway.
Pam S. Oct 2017
Great small unit near Manzanita. The space is perfect for a couple and had all of the basic furnishings.
EMI G. Oct 2017
The cabin is located at the end of a road and situated on a bluff overlooking the ocean. It is peaceful, quiet and a perfect place for a romantic get away. The cabin is cozy and just the right size for two people. The views are amazing and the yard is perfect for sitting outside and enjoying a glass of wine, reading a book, having a picnic, or simply sitting and enjoying the sound of the ocean. We will stay here again!
Roxanne C. Oct 2017
The sofa was a bit soft, but everything else was fine. The cabin is small but it was just my husband and I, so it was fine.. We went 10/6 - 10/8/17 and were blessed with wonderful weather!
Gary L N. Oct 2017
Just the right size for a couple that needs time to relax and enjoy a spectacular and restful get away.
Carol P. Sep 2017
We thoroughly enjoyed this cozy studio - it has a great window from which to view the large yard and the ocean. The kitchen is small and basic (no oven), but no problem - we just ordered extra servings of chowder when we went out to dinner one night, then had it for dinner the next with some wine and salad - WONDERFUL. We happened to come just as Oregon's rainy season was arriving, so we built a fire and enjoyed our little nest and going out to look over the cliff (definitely not a place for children) to see the changes in the ocean.
Peggy S. Aug 2017
We were in Oregon for a wedding and decided to stay a few extra days on the beach for a vacation. This place was beautiful, quiet and the perfect getaway. My husband and I both were not ready to leave. We took the time to visit some of the surrounding towns and enjoyed some really good seafood! I would recommend this place to family and friends. It was so peaceful and serene.
Becky P. Aug 2017
The setting was perfect!!! Views were incredible!!! Felt very comfortable and cozy in the darling cottage!!!
Asbury B. Aug 2017
A perfectly secluded perch atop the Pacific Ocean!
Steve A. Jul 2017
Look no further for your romantic getaway retreat! It feels brand new, furnished tastefully with comfortable IKEA chic. The view will knock your socks off, an open vista for miles of beach and sea. Incredible spot for sunsets. The cliff is not a place for kids (as described), but well established vegitation makes it zero-scary for adults. We brought the little round table and chairs out to the edge each evening for wine and cheese. We loved it, and will be back!
Cecilia S. Jul 2017
The view was magnificent and the grounds were beyond lovely. The house was very clean and I always appreciate that . It was comfortable for making simple meals for 2 people. The only thing that I didn't like was like was the sofa. It felt old and grubby. I think that that replacing a sofa is a small investment for such a beautiful setting. Wine glasses please.
I would certainly stay there again with a few upgrades.
Like I said, views so stunning and location to everything is great.
Katie K. Jun 2017
This was the perfect Oceanside cottage for a romantic getaway! It was secluded yet close to a quaint little town and the beach.
DeNene B. Jun 2017
Perfect little home of our own. Right on the ocean. We used to have a lake cabin in Idaho and this felt just as comfy and secluded. Could not have been better.
Bill L. Jun 2017
Cute little place, loved the privacy and views, and very cozy for a couple who are looking for a nest and lean toward being minimalists.
Jason W. Jun 2017
Amazing view, rustic, and just right for a couple. 3 people would be too many, for the place is basically one cosy room with a bathroom. We enjoyed the silence, beauty, and furnishings and really made the tiny kitchen, fridge, stove, and wood-burning oven work for us. Throw in a coffee grinder and the right cone filters and it would be perfect, but we adapted just fine (first world problem and such a minor complaint). We plan to come back for many years to come...
Shelle M. May 2017
Quiet space away from the commercial tourist scene with a view of the ocean that will take your breath away. Will plan on returning to this lovely spot as often as possible.
Kathleen G. May 2017
Everything was wonderful. If any comment, an upgrade to bathroom would make place one better.
Paul C. May 2017
The location was secluded and quiet, near the end of a road, with a spectacular view of the ocean. It is a studio, with everything in one room, with plenty of space for two people. Our only complaint was that the cable did not work properly. We only wanted to watch one show during our stay, but the video kept freezing. The only way to continue watching was to turn the TV off and then on again until the picture froze, and repeat the process.
Manager response:
We're sorry the TV didn't work properly. The issue appears to have been resolved. Thank you.
Mick S. May 2017
Having never stayed here, we were hopeful this private weekend getaway would be as perfect as it seemed. It absolutely was. My wife and I were blown away by the view and the spectacular surroundings. The accommodations were comfy and inviting, and the neighborhood was wonderful for exploring.
Matthew V. May 2017
Cute guest house with a spectacular view out over the lawn and out into the horizon of the Pacific Ocean. Two perfect nights watching the sunset from the edge of the cliff. We could also see whales migrated north and bald eagles riding the thermals just feet away from where we were sitting - just a breathtaking experience.

The local town of Manzanita is a jem and the beach is great for long walks. The property is super convenient for hikes through Oswald State Park, long walks down on Neahkahnie Beach, and a short drive up to Cannon Beach (for those interested in that tourist attraction).
Gail B. May 2017
I loved staying at the Neahkahnie Nest and would certainly enjoy returning. It's small but big enough for up to two people. The studio is serene, quiet, attractive, and very private. I found myself easily relaxing. I was there to do some writing as well as enjoy long walks on an endless beach, eat great food at local restaurants, and daydream while watching the ocean from the Nest. I am grateful for all of it.
Daniel A G. May 2017
Awesome property, great romantic cozy spot on sunny or rainy days! Can't wait to go back !
Kate B. Mar 2017
We had a great relaxing weekend in this fantastic little studio overlooking the ocean. The kitchen was well equipped with basic cookware. We were warm and cozy during rainy nights, and enjoyed the sun streaming in the big windows when the weather cleared up. The view is phenomenal, and the large grassy yard and surrounding trees and shrubs made us feel like we were in a secluded forest cabin. A bald eagle swooped past the window several times! Highly recommended!
Casey B. Mar 2017
This studio setup was excellent. What a treat to have morning coffee while watching sea lions swimming in the ocean just out the front window. Everything was perfect for a couple's getaway. We definitely plan to book this property again on our next little getaway!
Cathy K. Mar 2017
Peace. Privacy. Quiet. Sun. Moon. Stars. Deer. Whales. If you want to get away and "be" this is the place. Some minor issues made it a 4 rather than 5-star for my stay.
Jamie D. Mar 2017
This is a perfect get away for any couple! Cooking in the kitchen was cozy and very convenient. It is such a peaceful spot, with a big yard overlooking the ocean, it was great to feel at peace here. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay here and would come back in a heartbeat. Leave the window open at night for the ocean breeze.
Geoffrey B. Mar 2017
Right next to the forest and park. Convenient to town without the crowds, traffic and noise. Super quiet, great views of the ocean from the hilltop.
Jayne J. Feb 2017
A great location for a definite romantic time! By upgrading just a few things it would be spectacular. Start by getting a different coffee maker and supplying matches to light a fire!
Mark K. Jan 2017
This place was absolutely perfect for a weekend gateway for a couple! The fireplace worked great and the views were amazing!

Wonderful spot, very clean and well maintained. We look forward to coming in the summer soon.
Lance M. Nov 2016
This was a perfect location for those wishing to avoid the town crowds, being on one the last properties on a dead end road. Very peaceful and relaxing. With Neahkahnie beach and the town of Manzanita just down the hill, this was the perfect place for a couples get away.
