Dog-friendly A-frame cottage—oceanfront w/ ocean views & two blocks from beach!
Avast, me hearties! The oceanfront awaits! When you see the cabin of this Lincoln City vacation rental, you won't want to weigh anchor anywhere else. Your eyes won't be able to decide which to admire more: the magnificent ocean view from the deck or the loving skill put into this rustic beach home.
This incredible two-bedroom A-frame is just two blocks from the beach at Lincoln City. Park up to two cars in your designated parking area and hit the decks!
From the gleaming elegance of its dark hardwood floors to the gorgeous granite counters and tile work, you'll be the captain of your Lincoln City getaway. Light floods the living area through the beachside wall of windows from floor to gable. Surrounded from stem to stern with beautiful wood paneling, this cozy space feels large and expansive, its atmosphere underscored by plush couches and an ornate decorative rug.
When you're not on the deck enjoying the ocean air and the waves' rhythmic crashing on the beach, come inside and swap stories of voyages gone by over a Kahlua and coffee, all to the sounds of your favorite music on the CD player. After dinner, watch a movie on the DVD player or, if you must, do some work using the free WiFi.
You'll be hard pressed to pull your cook from the galley of this charming home. Fully equipped with everything needed to feed a hungry crew, the kitchen is efficient and aesthetically pleasing with beautiful granite counters, intricate tile splashboards, and earthen tile floors. In addition to a big fridge, stove, and microwave, you'll find stainless steel sinks for easy clean up and a coffee grinder for your favorite beans. Serve it up at the dining set for four, complete with amazing ocean views to enjoy with dessert! Or, head out to one of Lincoln City's 60 eateries where you can enjoy everything from crab to coq au vin.
Come bedtime, you and the mates —up to six of you—can choose between two bedrooms and two sofabeds in the living room. There is a double bed in each of the two bedrooms. Enveloped by knotted wood walls, the nautical decor reminds you of your proximity to the ocean outside. You'll also find a futon in the living room and a washer/dryer out in the garage.
This getaway even welcomes the whole family: bring along the family dog, just be advised that a small nightly fee applies.
With seven miles of beautiful sandy beach outside, you could spend your whole vacation walking along the beach, watching the seabirds churn in the ocean breeze, building sand castles, swimming, or flying kites. But there's lots more to do around Lincoln City. Dubbed the "Miracle Twenty Miles," Lincoln City is home to many shops, an outlet mall, and galleries where you can buy that souvenir or piece of art for the den.
Golfers can have their day at Salishan or Chinook Winds resorts, both less than 15 minutes from town; you can even tempt Lady Luck at Chinook Winds Casino as well! Anglers can cast their lines at Devil's Lake, which boasts nine species of fresh water fish. Or, do something really different and take a cooking class at the Culinary Institute or learn the art of glass blowing at Alder House Studio.
For a great time in exciting and colorful Lincoln City, dock your vessel and make this charming Northern Oregon Coast vacation rental your getaway!
Exceptional view. Comfy cabin.
I visited this residence with my parents and their small dogs. This place was perfect. The upstairs was super cold at night but there's a space heater and a bunch of blankets. Be warned: the shower is not built for tall people. We figured it out. It was so cool to stand on the back deck at night. No light pollution so stargazing was amazing! I can't wait to book this house again. Loved every minute!
Sunset was amazing view from this house very relaxing time
Very nice cabin for the two of us. Only complaint was the shower. Very low water pressure. The other faucets worked great so it was hard to figure out why the shower was just a trickle.
Very cute A-frame, nice flooring, walls ceiling and kitchen. I hesitated to rent after reading about the discomfort found regarding the beds and the water pressure problem. It's odd that the water out the tap ran like a champ but the "low flow" shower head is more like a trickle. However, I just washed my hair before coming and I only have to wash my hair once a week so that wasn't too big of a deal. The height of the shower head is pretty laughable though, it did take some yoga maneuvers to get my head wet. I'm 5'8" and the shower head came to chest level. We also found the futons very uncomfortable to sit on in the living room. The bed where very comfortable though. Overall, I will probably come again. If you want a night in bring entertainment as there is no cable, there are some games and puzzles in the cabinet by the door though. I didn't see a dvd player either, but I didn't look that hard. The wifi worked very well. The view is really outstanding here. I feel like I got my money's worth.
Location, location, mlocation. The house was clean and there was plenty of linen and towels. The garage acts as a great mud room, with a handy washer and dryer. Nice neighborhood !
We only stayed 2 nights, and the price was right. We would stay again in the future.
The view from the deck is great! Easy beach access to a beautiful beach below. Beds were very noisy and not very comfortable and the shower is a bit difficult (it is tiny) for anyone over 5 feet tall. There is no dishwasher. Overall though, this is a great property, has all of the basics that one needs for vacation and is in a great part of Lincoln City. Would stay here again if only for the view and good location.
Love the location. Easy walk to the beach. The house was nice. Great for a couple get away.
The view is beautiful. Could open window and hear the ocean.
Sitting right on the ocean (practically) was great. My sister-in-laws and daughter enjoyed themselves also. You have a lovely home.
The view was gorgeous. House equipped with all proper kitchen utensils and tools.
Everything was great! Similar reviews about the shower but oh well! With that view I would stay here again!!!
The view was great and beach access not too far. House really needs an outside water source and hose. That would cut down on the amount of sand tracked in to the house considerably. Furnishings not great, but adequate. Bathroom floor was disgustingly dirty. If you are over 5’2” the shower is not for you. Overall, about what I expected for a beach house that allows dogs.
We loved the house and the view. It worked well for our group. The only complaint is the shower. It’s small and there is no water pressure.
Low water pressure is a constant problem at Roads End, and we do apologize for any inconvenience this causes our guests.
Great location with an awesome view overlooking the ocean. Very comfortable and spacious A frame with access to the beach
The Windows and deck provide an unobstructed view of the ocean. The all wood interior is beautiful and comforting. We went during the kite festival weekend, and we're able to see the fireworks from the deck. It was awesome.
Clean and cozy oceanfront A-frame. The house is well appointed and conveniently located to shopping and restaurants. The price was great! I would rent this house again.
As do all vaca rentals, the house has its quirks, but overall this is a perfect place. It was clean and ready on time (even were allowed to come in slightly earlier). Beds are comfy. Very simple decor/furniture, which is fine, since the VIEW is what takes ones attention. The deck is big and has a little windguard. As for beach-access, when leaving if you turn right it is merely a couple blocks down and little path way to sand and there you are! If you turn left it is about 7-8 blocks to beach. Note: if you have kids or need restroom close by, the second option would be the one to take.
I would totally stay here again. The positives far outweigh the few quirky things at this vacation rental. Did I mention the view!?
Location and back wall of glass
Super short walk to the beach, quick drive to the casino, really convenient location. Was clean and worked great for our girl’s weekend away from home!
I will admit, after reading many other reviews, I was hesitant to book this place. We stayed at Pirate's Paradise for Oregon Spring Break - 2 adults, 2 kids and dog. The communication prior to our stay was perfect. When we got to the house it was just as pictured in the virtual tour and completely clean and ready to go.
I spent most of my time whale watching and was able to spot several whales during our stay. The view is absolutely amazing and it was wonderful to be able to sit on the deck when the sun came out.
The only gripe was the DVD player is not compatible with the t.v., so the picture was black and white.
The kitchen supply of items was adequate and the pans looked new.
The walk to the beach was not far - since the house is nearly in the middle of the block, there's two ways to access it.
Two notes for guests with dogs...1) the back patio isn't completely closed off and leads to a grassy area which leads to bushes which are in front of a cliff. 2) be sure to bring your dog a rug, pillow or dog bed as there are no rugs on the main floor.
Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely go back.
2 adults, 2 kids (11 & 9), and 1 dog.
Pros: Clean, nice quirky house, close proximity to beach, casino, and retail shops.
Cons: Water pressure (as stated in previous reviews), stairs not the greatest (see previous reviews).
Despite the cons, I would return and stay at the pirates cove.
This is a very unique a/frame property. It has a nice little deck with a great view of ocean. It is close to beach access.
The interior is very comfortable with a nice kitchen. No dishwasher which really didn’t matter, but the shower in bathroom is very small with very little water pressure.
I need to say after reading numerous reviews about the place not being adequately clean upon arrival that it was not our experience. When we arrive the place was immaculate. It is right on the beach. That is to say, that the A frame sits on a lot on top of the beach cliff and you can walk to the edge and look down at waves and sand but it would not be safe to try to access the beach from this lot. You can do that by walking about 200 yards to the left on Jetty Road Roads End State Recreation Site. I loved waking up one stormy morning when we were and watching the rage surf and wind break upon the headland all from the panoramic windows and worn interior of this comfortable A-frame. The communication with Patrick was good, with clear directions and clear instructions for arrival and departure. My one complaint is that the kitchen utensils are in sad need of replacement. The one teflon frying pan left you wondering if you might get cancer from the peeling material at the bottom of the pan. There was not a sharp knife nor a knife sharpener available. Also, even thought the literature left on the kitchen table mentioned a dish washer appliance, this site did not have one. All in all, these are minor complaints. We enjoyed our stay and would return but with our own frying pan and our own kitchen knives.
We have done a full inventory of the kitchen and replaced all pots and pans. Thank you!
I would not go back to this property mainly due to the poor water pressure. Id rather not even take a shower. The heat was very difficult to manage. I think it came on eventually but not sure. The space heater was not doing the trick.
Upon arrival, it was apparent that the cleaners left before finishing their job. Sheets were still in the washer and one bed was not made, fridge still had items from the previous stay including milk and all the waste cans were full and in the garage waiting to be emptied. No waste cans in the house itself.
We apologize for the disappointments this guest experience. The Road's End area generally has lower water pressures, and, unfortunately, there is not an alternative option for this home at this time. We have retrained the housekeeper responsible for prepping this house so there should not be any further issues of the home not being ready for guest arrival. We have been able to fix one of the cadet heaters that was out during this visit, so heat should no longer be an issue. Thank you!
Very clean and cozy place. I recommend staying here.
the place is in a quiet neighborhood and has a great view but the house has too many issues to warrant a return trip
Cozy..home..steeps to upstairs loft were too much of a challenge for older folks .
To start, a 4pm check-in is even later than hotels in the area offer, I even requested an early check-in which was denied, not the end of the world but you would think if they need 5 hrs to clean a place it should be spotless and not have dirt & past guests leftover dirty socks. When saying there's more than 1 guest checking in you would expect to get more than 1 key but was only given access to 1 key box. Had an entire meal planned that needed the use of the oven but the oven didn't work so called and was told they'd send someone out, maintenance showed up a couple hrs later just to say he had no tools with him (doesn't that specific job require you to carry tools?!) so he'll send the other guy in the area right over.....never saw or heard from anyone so part of a wasted meal & more money spent! The shower water pressure is basically non existant. And there's no hair dryer. This place was not worth the money charged at all. However the view is great.
Other than the distance to the beach .. the place is great. Everything you need and a great view (although we had to clean the windows to see it) Perfect spot in between massive rocks out in the ocean. Close to town and close to Devils Lake.
Property setting was very different to the photos in the site, very poor, cleaning conditions issues all over property, Over priced for what Vacasa offers in this particular property. We never were informed that a cross the street was a construction, so it was very noise.
The simple A-frame might seem dated, but when it's sunny but cold and windy outside, it's warm and woody inside. Great view even from the loft.
Overall, I was disappointed with the Pirate's Paradise property. Although the web advertisement did not specifically indicate direct beach access, the photograph from the deck gave the false impression of such access. OK, so that's my fault for not looking into is more thoroughly prior to renting. However, the property was not "vacation-ready" by any means. [See my comments under "cleanliness" and "property's condition" above.
I would not stay at this property again. Beds are horrible, shower is made for a midget and had no water pressure, stove was broken did not work. The house had dog hair all over it.
The steps were very steep. The futon sleepers could be better. The lighting could be improved.. The water is very hot. The patio glass could be cleaned more frequently as it blocks the view. But overall it was a cozy place and we enjoyed our stay. The view above the glass panels was beautiful. Not a far distance to beach access.
Was in town for work and got this place on short notice. Very impressed, location was awesome!
Great view. Quaint, unique cabin-like A-frame. Great location with beach access only 200' feet away (closer access is south on Jetty towards gravel path, not north towards park).
Some issues with appliances (stove, can opener, toaster), and water heater was set too hot (careful if you have little kids, water is scalding hot).
We had a five hour drive to get to Lincoln City to be greeted by a very dirty vacation home. We instantly got very disappointed in the way they let that big of a detail unattended. After the cleaning lady Sonia came by to clean the place an hour after we checked in it was starting to get a little better for us. After three hours of cleaning the lady finally finished and we went to settle in. My kids go to turn on the t.v and to our surprise the cable had been shut off, so I tell the kids just get on the wifi while I make a call and get that taken care of. Then come to find out the wifi is off due to no pay. Lol!! Then I got very irritated, I calmly text the property manager and let him know what's going on and he took care of that a little while later. I then text the gentleman and asked what they would do to make this right and he said "Absolutely" that was the last we heard. The lady that went to clean up for us like I said was awesome. We were left with one roll of toilet paper for four people for three nights. So we had to go buy some not a big deal but another inconvenience for us. Then to make shit a little worse on our experience and this has nothing to do with the house. That 1st night there was an argument between some drunk Neihbor's at about 3:00am that kept us up for another hour or so. The next morning was the way it should have been from the beginning. It was calm we went for a nice long walk on the beach, cooked breakfast on the deck with a spectacular view. And our vacation began. It was just a shame that my family and I lost our 1st night of our mini vacation. One last thing I'm in the customer service and when I tell one of my customers that I'm doing something I make sure I do it and I always make sure that my 1st impression is the best.
We are so sorry the home wasn't cleaned before their arrival. We take great pride with insuring the property is ready before the guests check in. Because of these issues, they were provided with partial compensation. Thank you.
Great location! Cute house- but there were spider webs all over the ceilings.
There is a short walk to the beach. The cabin is beautiful. It was a wonderful experience. They had dog bowls and blankets. It was beautiful and so clean.
We enjoyed our stay very much and thought this house was cozy and comfortable. The only complaint is that the shower was extremely small, almost even too small for one person. And also the water pressure in the shower was so low that it was hard to get shampoo out of our hair. Other than that, the view was wonderful and it had easy access to the beach. Would stay here again!
We apologize for the low water pressure in the shower. The only way to fix it would be to redo most of the home's plumbing which is not in the plans at this time. Thank you!
We as a family have been coming to this area for many years to relax, visit and vacation, Vacasa has many houses to choose from to fit any taste, size and price range. The Vacasa folks are very friendly and helpful. We had a great time visiting the local glass blowing shops. Also the local art galleries and no trip to Lincoln City would be complete unless you stop at Barnacle Bills for their smoked Salmon and fresh seafood
Cheers to more visits
View is great, close to food and entertainment, and 2 blocks from yhe beach.
I do not care to write a review
Plus: Fantastic views of the Pacific from inside the home and even better from the large deck. (180 degrees). One car garage attached to house very handy.
Minus: Very steep stairs to loft where 2nd Bedroom is located.
My family absolutely loved this house. The view was awesome!! The house was furnished with everything we could have needed. The house was so cozy it really fit our personality. If you are planning on taking a dog, it is set up perfectly. There's a small yard off the deck and they even supplied a basket of dog supplies. We would definetly stay here again!!!
This property has a nice location and the A-frame is cozy. However, the place was not cleaned. We had to clean nearly every dish and utensil before we used it. There was sand and dirt all over the couches that we had to vacuum ourselves before using them. One of the comforters smelled so strongly of mold that we had to put it in the garage. There was also hair all over the bathroom shower and floor.
The description says the property accommodates 6 people. In our reservation we noted there would be 4 of us. The description all says that towels and linens are provided and in the welcome e-mail, we were told we did not need to bring those items. There were not enough bath towels for for 4 people, there were no towels in the kitchen, which is problematic when there is no dishwasher and you have to pre-wash all the dishes by hand. Also, since one of the comforters was moldy, there were not enough linens for 4 people.
I wrote the property manager with these issues. I asked for at LEAST the cleaning fee to be refunded. While he did respond and apologize and said that he would talk to the housekeepers, he also said that guest satisfaction would be reaching out to me to talk about a refund. It's been at least two weeks and even with me following-up, I have not heard from guest satisfaction nor received a refund.
I am only giving one star due it's location.
We are very sorry to see that housekeeping was lacking for this reservation. A deep clean for this home is happening within the next couple of weeks, and most of these issues will be addressed at that time.
- Great view, amazing sunsets from the deck
- Very rustic feel, good for photography
- Good temperature inside
- Convenient garage
- 2nd "bedroom" does not have a proper door and offers zero privacy - not really a room.
- Bad lighting
- House actually tilts 4 degrees, which is sometimes even nauseating.
- dangerous stairs, especially for children
- extremely creaky so that anybody in the 2nd bedroom will be kept awake by passers by
- bad shower
- barebones furniture
- noticeably dirty
- generally lacking the feel that the owners take pride in making the place comfortable for renters via amenities, beds, furniture, lighting, upkeep, style.
SPECIAL THANKS to Vacasa, who took time out of a Sunday to relocate us to a place in Olivia Beach (of our own choice) that made us feel much safer and happier. They have earned my business in the future and my recommendation - thank you again!
Due to the home being an a-frame, a door in the upstairs room would be quite expensive and is not where the owner wants to spend their money at this time. The light bulbs have been changed, and a deep clean for this home is coming soon.
We enjoyed the rental very much. It fit our needs, but luckily, one of our party couldn't attend at the last minute. He would have had a terrible time with this property being an older, tall and large man, he would have had issues with the shower, which is very small and not comfortable for an average size person.
The parking restrictions are silly. Having a 2 car limit when the place can easily park 4 or 5 cars, if you use the garage, is silly. Better plan on carpooling if you have more than 2 people coming along.
The "door" to the bedroom on the main floor doesn't close far enough to keep the bedroom from being seen from the front room. It's not a huge deal, but just a design issue of the A-frame.
Really, we enjoyed our stay in the house. It is way better than a hotel room. We enjoy having the ability to put food in the fridge and cook our own meals rather than eating out all of the time. Love being right on the ocean and being able to watch the ocean, and bring our furry friend. Wish that it would have had private beach access of course, but we knew going in that it didn't. We would have gone to the beach more often if it had. :)
Having the garage was a pleasant addition that I hadn't planned on needing or wanting when we made our reservation, but was awesome to have use of it.
Overall, we were pleased with our stay and recommend the house.
Very great time! Thank you
We had a great time! Lincoln City is one of our favorite places to vacation and this home was perfect for our little family!
The beds were comfortable and the view was beautiful. Shower is super small and you have to bend down to wash your hair. No dishwasher, but hey--lots of great restaurants to eat at and you're on vacation from cooking anyway! The tv was really small -- then again -- you're on the beach and shouldn't be watching so much tv anyway! I'd stay here again -- but wouldn't recommend more than four people at a time.
Watch your head! The ceiling is low.
Enjoyable stay at the beach. Perfect for our grandchildren.
I recently took my 13-year-old daughter and two of her friends to the Oregon Coast and we stayed in Pirate's Paradise. It was perfect for what we needed: a bedroom downstairs for me and the entire upstairs for the girls to hang out and sleep. For them, it was like an extended sleepover. The kitchen was fabulous, and the view was stunning. Even though there is only one small bathroom, we all managed just fine! We loved the cabin-like feel. We had easy access to Lincoln City and the surrounding areas, and the public beach access was just down the street. Thanks for a great stay!
Lovely location with a million dollar view.
I would say we had a great time at the house. We enjoyed the location, close to the casino, great view of the ocean. But no water pressure in the shower, and I mean none. Not the cleanest house but the kitchen had a lot of useful appliances and it was a quiet area.
We were very happy with the house. Conveniently located close to Chinook Winds Casino.
Overall we enjoyed our stay.
Great views for watching the winter/spring storms.
No beach access, you have to drive to the "Roads End" to get on the beach.
There really isn't a front yard, just a bunch of scraggly shrubs that need to be removed or replaced.
Its set back a little from the surrounding beach house's, so hope you don't mind listening to your neighbors partying in their hot tub.
The stairs to the loft are very steep and kinda scary so we slept down stairs.
The new Futon's on the main floor were very comfortable.
Loved the extended check out, for a small fee we were able to have a great casual breakfast, clean up, relax a bit and get everything together without racing against the clock!
Definitely will stay here again.
The view was AMAZING. Exactly as advertised. Worth every penny.
Beds were just ok. But the futon was way comfortable.
It may have 3 beds but there really is only 1 real bedroom.
The weather was great, but unfortunately the BBQ was covered in mold. It looked like someone put the cover on it in the garage while it was still wet.
It was overall good.
Maybe needs a few more lamps, too. it is pretty dark inside once the sun goes down.
Kitchen was very nice. It was also great to have the blu ray player w/ Netflix and the stereo.
The location and view from the front room was awesome. . The cleaning crew needs fired or at least reprimanded. Floors were dirty. It was a great little cabin with 1 bathroom. Nice for 2 people or maybe 3 Very close couples as the open floor plan offered no privacy. That being said I wouldn't hesitate to rent it again if I see other reviews that show improvement with the cleaning
The View! The View! The View! ok so that is what was good. This place is being run like a slum lord owns it. For minimal dollars one could easily replace mattresses and couches and cause the whole experience to be drastically improved. I was charged a total of $125 for cleaning (this includes for pets). As you sat on one couch and looked under the other you saw tons of animal hair. The amount of sand I swept up the first day we were there (and we had not been to the beach yet) was inexcusable. We moved the downstairs bed and found more of the same mess. Pulling back the throw rug in the living room was enough to almost make one sick. If you are going to charge an arm and a leg for cleaning then you ought to actually clean the place.
We appreciate your feedback and want to apologize that the home was not as clean as it should have been. Housekeeping management has been notified so they can be sure to get the home properly cleaned, and the Property Manager will consider the mattresses and couches for future improvements. We are delighted to see that you enjoyed the view and hope you made terrific memories while staying with us!
Nice rental, great view, great sunsets with close beach access. Private, we would suggest go with another couple since there are two bedrooms, those beds are fine.loft bed sucks, mattress feels like it came out of hide a bed. Take a baby gate to enclose deck if you have pets. Ad says dishwasher, there isn't one. Just keep in mind, it's s cabin, you are at the beach.
This was a unique house in beautiful location with gorgeous views. House looked exactly like picture and had everything needed for an enjoyable stay.
The view alone is reason enough to book this vacation home. We enjoyed the deck. A short 2 block walk to beach access. My 7 yr old granddaughter loved the loft bedroom. It is a small home but it was just perfect for the 5 of us. Could have slept 3 more. It does list that it has a dishwasher but in fact it does not. Wasn't really that big of a deal. We are all just spoiled. We would stay here again.
LOVED THE PLACE AND SO DID OUR DOG'S, THE DECK WAS GREAT BUT NEXT TIME WE WILL BRING A GATES TO CLOSE OFF THE ONE OPEN AREA. COULD OF USED MORE DECK CHAIRS BUT WILL BRING OUR OWN NEXT TIME.
very well done inside and comfortable. Next time I will take more hang out blankets and spend a few more days just relaxing and drinkin coffee. Check this place out.
Thank you Vacasa for stressless, easy to make reservation and exceptional weekend on the beach. Memories of a lifetime and so appreciate all the communication and ease of a quick getaway. Thank you and we will be back.
Thank YOU for your kind words. We are thrilled that we got to play a part in making your vacation special! This unique home, just a few short blocks to beach access, is a wonderful place to make lasting memories with family and friends. We hope you can visit again soon! We would love to have you back.
It was our first time staying at pirates paradise it was great! Very clean and a beautiful view with very easy access to the beach a very pleasant walk and so happy it was pet friendly thank you!
This is the 2nd year in a row we have gone & we plan to keep it our yearly trip. The price works well for us (winter cost) and it provides a cozy older place with spacious kitchen area and many sleeping options. Its right on the beach so the views are beautiful even in winter. There is no access point from the house. However beach access is close. Wonderful garage area great to store dirty sandy buckets & boots with a really nice washer & dryer. The bathroom has only a shower so for our family with young girls' it would be hard to stay comfortably for more then a few days. These are my complaints/suggestions:
The room in the back of the upstairs had no heat, renting in January as we have now the last 2 years , that room is extremely cold. My 2 girls' feet, hands & noses were very cold in the morning, even bundled up in warm jammies, socks & blankets.
A dishwasher would be great too as this time we stayed several days & I think we spent 1/2 the time washing dishes.
More light in main living area, specifically the dining/living room is extremely dark.
Thank you for your review. The Property Manager will inspect the heat, and we'll keep your suggestions in mind for future improvements. We are glad that you enjoy the home! Thank you for choosing Vacasa!
We had a wonderful experience. Not always easy to have various personalities under one roof but the amazing view plus the warmth of the wood construction mellowed everyone. Beach access was nearby. The garage entrance allowed people & dog to clean off before entering the house. My granddaughter called it the triangle house!
This was our first time to rent a house on the Oregon coast, and we would definitely do so again. It was easy, efficient, clean, and the location was fabulous.
I was a little nervous to rent a beach house because I had never rented one before. After renting this gorgeous, efficiently set up house I don't think I can ever go back to a hotel stay again. Everything was clean and ready for use. The kitchen was very well stocked with dishes, pots, pans and cooking utensils and the view was simply divine! I highly recommend this particular rental for a beach getaway and using vacasa rentals in the future. Excellent experience! I can't wait for my next beach trip!
This is great feedback! We're so glad that your first experience with us was such a positive one!
Even with the crazy rainy northwest weather & storms the home was very relaxing. It had the most beautiful view of the ocean. I do wish we could have cracked a window so we could hear the waves crashing but overall everything was perfect.
My dad and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Just being able to have the door to the deck open in order to hear the ocean waves along the beach was quite enjoyable. We'd stay there again.
Pirate's Paradise is a comfortable, pet-friendly hideaway with a spectacular view. We found the kitchen adequately equipped for cooking (there's a Safeway nearby). Beds and other furniture were unpretentious and comfortable, and the overall atmosphere was conducive to hanging out and relaxing. Great for pets, too! Our only desire would be for reading lamps because it tended to be pretty dark. We'd definitely stay here again.
This is a lovely rental. The only hesitation I would have is for taller people. The A-frame design is not height friendly in many of the rooms. Also, though it can sleep 8, the common areas would have difficulty supporting that many guests.
Other than that, it is a really nice and comfortable home. Beds are comfortable, towels are cushy and new, kitchen is relatively well outfitted, though if you have a favorite frying pan or extra sharp knife you may want to pack it along....but I have found that true in 100% of the rentals I have stayed in. Bring salt... Just in case...there was none left from previous guests.
A great place to watch the surf and hang out.
It is a beautiful place! The views are beautiful! Nice and quite neighbor!
This was a really cool house! The kids loved the loft, we loved the view! Kitchen was nice to cook in. We so appreciated the place being pet-friendly. The only drawback for us was the beach access was a little far away. Overall we would stay here again.
I would highly recommend this property. It's a short walk or drive to the beach access, and very close to the highway. Very cute cabin feel and a lot of space.
