Waterfront home with stunning natural views and private hot tub!

Leave behind your stresses and help your family and friends get away from it all! This peaceful Freeland home will help you forget your troubles with stunning water views, easy access to the beach, and amenities like a private hot tub.

Located on Whidbey Island in the unique community of Freeland, this home for six boasts a stunning view of Holmes Harbor just below. Enjoy it from the spacious deck and front yard, or just relax in your own private hot tub!

Wide windows, wood details on the walls and ceiling beams, and plenty of plush furnishings make the living room a lovely place to relax. Take in fresh air whenever you like on the nearby deck, or unwind downstairs in the TV room downstairs. There's no internet in this home, but with the company of your loved ones and stunning natural beauty so close at hand, you won't miss it one bit.

The kitchen is just a few steps from the living room, and provides everything you need for delicious home-cooked meals. Whip up something tasty using state-of-the-art stainless steel appliances, and serve up the food at the adjacent table for eight. If the weather allows, you can even dine outdoors on the deck, where you have access to a grill for barbecues!

When it's time for bed, you have several options. Two bedrooms, along with a sofabed, sleep up to six guests, with a maximum of four adults. Each bedroom has a large plush bed (king in the master and queen in the second bedroom), with a soothing shower awaiting you in the full bathroom, and an en-suite half bathroom for the master bedroom. Wake up to a fresh cup of coffee on the deck and start planning your day!

You don't need to go far from home to have a good time. There's beach access at Freeland Park just down the street, letting you enjoy the gentle waves of the Pacific as you relax on the shore. There's a nearby playground kids can enjoy, too! Eighteen miles north, meanwhile, lies Coupeville, with ferry access to a variety of destinations and a wide variety of restaurants and galleries to explore.

If you time your trip for July 4th weekend, you can celebrate Independence Day in style with the Celebrate America fireworks show! After enjoying a festival and music in town, head back to the cabin and take in an amazing view of the pyrotechnics, which launch from a barge in the waters right in front of the home.

Don't let this amazing opportunity slip away - place your reservation today!

**Waterfront access is prohibited on this property and guests must refrain from accessing the shoreline. The area directly along the waterline is a marsh and thus a hazard to all potential guests.**

The pictures on line didn’t do justice to the actual views. The house was perfect for celebrating the birthday of our cousin who lives in Freeland.

Eagles Reach offers a spectacular view and fine amenities. We especially enjoyed the patio, and the kitchen is well-stocked! It's also easy to find and located close to stores (including a reasonably price grocery!). The rental is also close to beaches that are dog-friendly. And, if you enjoy wine, we suggest stopping at the Whidbey Island Winery, which isn't too far away.

From the outside it looks tiny but inside was very spacious with excellent views. Centrally located in Freeland, walking distance to parks and restaurants. We really enjoyed our time!

the view and the house and amenities!

This was a really nice experience. My family decided to go up for the weekend and got snowed in -which was fine by us - we wanted a peaceful, relaxing time away from the city. The location is private, quiet (in February, I expect in the summer months it can get busy), and serene. It’s right on the water with a gorgeous and unobstructed view of Puget Sound. Our dog had a field day with room to run and play. I would recommend or anyone with a small family for a quick and easy getaway! One thing to note - the bed in the master bedroom is very firm. Other than that it was great!
Manager response:
Kamaria, we are so glad you had the wonderful experience you went for! Mattress firmness is a matter of preference and we are sorry it was firmer than you prefer. We look forward to your next stay! Thank you.

Beautiful view and a comfortable home.

This home has a nice view but no access to the beach (the home next door has a nice new staircase built to get to the beach). It's a short walk to the public park nearby, though. There are no screens on the sliding doors in the main living area, so there is no air ventilation at all upstairs (large picture windows don't open, only windows that open are small ones in half bath and kitchen). The bedrooms are downstairs in the (walk-out) basement, so the air is cool but damp and it's somewhat dark. The outdoor space is nice, with several areas to enjoy the view. Eagles flew by every day. Lots of toys and dvds for the kids but no wifi and only 4 tv channels. Nice large dining table to play board games.

The views from this home are amazing. Very peaceful, clean and comfortable. We'll be back!

Can't beat the view! Great deck, patio, fire pit hot tub and big picture Windows to enjoy it all with. Whether it's a beautiful sunny or stormy day. Pick your spot, grab a pair of one the supplied binoculars and take in the water. Sea otters, sea lions, Eagles, Hawks, all while in the comfort of this charming space. Can't wait to go back.

Stayed for 6 nights in May. Overall house was great. Location is beautiful and ideal on Whidbey. Two negatives. One was there were no screens on the two sliding doors in the family room. This meant it was quite warm in the afternoons. We opened the doors, but bees kept making their way in. There was no other way to ventilate the home. Would have been nice to let the fresh air in. The other issue was with the bed in the master. It is rock hard. It was so hard my wife had to sleep in the spare room. It was unacceptable.
Manager response:
We would like to sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this guest may have experienced while visiting Eagle's Reach and would like to express appreciation for the feedback. The owner has chosen not to use screens on the doors, but the windows in the lower portion of the home all open. The mattress that is there is the owner's personal preference, and we apologize it did not work with this guest's preferences. Thank you!

We found the Eagles Reach on the Harbor to be a fantastic place for a small family. The view was incredible and the property very clean and well kept. We definitely plan on returning.

We enjoyed our stay the living room was very nice we had lots of room to spread out and enjoy the view or gather at the large dinning table .the house was very clean with nice appliances. The place was very quiet in a nice neighborhood.

This property is beautifully set on the lakeshore. Quiet neighborhood near the center of Freeland. Easily get to other towns on the island. Great small-town feel. Only drawback would be that the road to the house was narrow and very dark at night and there's no path from driveway to front door so it can be slippery and muddy. However, we would definitely stay here again.

We think this house must have the best view in the Freeland area. Our family of 3 with dog stayed for two nights; we were exceedingly happy and comfortable. Lovely house, comfortable furnishings, and pretty much everything you need. We like Freeland because it is convenient to Double Bluffs beach, Langley, Fort Casey, and Coupeville.

Good location, gorgeous view!

This home exceeded our expectations. The home sits at the end of a harbor, so the water view sweeps down to the beach and out for what seems like miles. Its location is on a perch above the harbor in a nice, private neighborhood, and it was a short, easy walk with the kids to the beachfront park below. Our nephew and his family absolutely loved the home and want to it to become their annual family getaway. The yard is large, there is a gorgeous upper deck with cushiony furniture, plus there is a lower paver patio with more outdoor where we roasted marshmellows and lounged. The furniture inside the home was very comfortable and the bathrooms were beautifully remodeled.

Eagles Reach on the Harbor was a perfect spot to reconnect with old friends. We walked along the beach, cooked great meals in the well stocked kitchen, played dominoes on the deck, and laughed a lot. Very relaxing!

Absolutely perfect for us!

Comfortable, great location, magnificent view!

We'll be back!

The property was much nicer than we expected. The owners have obviously done some serious work and it shows. The bedrooms and bathrooms on the ground floor were newly remodeled and nicely appointed and the beds are comfy. The bathroom is well thought out and lovely. Dual shower heads ROCK!
Upstairs the kitchen was pleasant to work in (this coming from a professional Chef/restaurant owner couple). The dining and living areas were quite nice as well. All very clean. The view is amazing. We were there with another couple to celebrate our wedding and hosted another couple for the day. 6 for dinner was easy. The dog loved the house, too.
One of the best parts was the hot tub. Nothing over the top, but very enjoyable, clean and private.
Whidbey Island is amazing, while there one MUST make plans for dinner at Orchard Kitchen in Langley. If The French Laundry or Meadowood are not to be missed on a trip to Napa, Orchard Kitchen is not to be missed on a trip to Whidbey Island. A Chef would not steer you wrong.
Great home, great view, relaxing and inviting. What more could one ask for?

Convenient location, spacious and clean. Incredible views! Can't wait to visit in the summer!

The house had a great view and was very close to town.
Niko N. Feb 2017
We enjoyed staying in this comfortable home with amenities like a gas grill, fireplace, equipped kitchen, and deck. However, there were a few issues with maintenance and cleaning that should be addressed. I still recommend staying here.
Nikhilesh J. Jan 2017
We stayed here for 2 nights. Good house. There were some problems with housekeeping because we found hair on pillows on beds and pet hair on couches. This was a problem because our son has allergies to pet dander.

There was no Internet but T-Mobile reception was good so we used our phones. There was no cable TV and only 3 channels for antenna TV. The DVD collection was good and almost all TVs had a DVD player.

The kitchen was great. No complains there. Bathrooms were clean and well stocked with soaps and towels.

Most windows had blinds except the main windows overlooking the water.

Every room had its own thermostat and heating worked well.

There is no access to the water directly from the house. But there's a nice little park a short walk away. Trying to walk in the backyard was not a good idea -- it was slimy and mucky.

But overall it was a great house and we had a pleasant stay.
