Dog-friendly, oceanfront condo w/ beach access, cozy fireplace, and large deck

Looking for a coastal getaway far from crowds and city congestion? Look no further than Starboard, a dog-friendly Bandon beach condo with top-notch amenities, including sweeping oceanfront views, a wood-burning fireplace, and quick access to the beach. It's the perfect escape for up to three guests and your dogs!

Tucked into a quiet neighborhood on the south side of Bandon right near Face Rock, Starboard is just minutes from entertainment, shopping, and dining in town. But it's even closer to miles of rugged coastline, which can be easily accessed via a staircase leading down to the public beach.

This listing is for The Starboard, a private, self-contained section in the larger Spindrift House - if you're traveling with a larger group, consider renting the adjacent two-bedroom The Helm section or both halves of the house together to sleep up to nine vacationers.

Leave your shoes by the door as you step into the comfort of this beachside beauty. Unwind with a glass of Oregon pinot and a favorite TV show on the cable- and DVD-equipped flatscreen in the living area. You could also kick up your feet for a rejuvenating nap on the comfortable cloth couch in the room, or cozy up by the warmth of a crackling fire in the fireplace.

Just beyond the living area, the outdoor deck is a great place for watching sunsets over the ocean and spotting migrating gray whales. You'll also find the deck to be an exquisite location for an al fresco meal.

Speaking of dining, the kitchenette back inside offers everything needed to make homemade breakfast, lunch, and dinner while you're here. Enjoy meals together at the cafe table, which also offers great views of the wide sandy shores just west. Feel like having a barbecue? Just fire up the charcoal grill that sits in a common area outside.

At the end of an activity-filled day, retire for restful sleep in the sole bedroom's queen-size bed. With the addition of a sofabed, up to three guests are accommodated. That also includes your family dogs, who are welcome to tag along (please note that there is a small nightly fee for dogs).

Flip on one of the bedside reading lamps to curl up with a good book or open a window to let in the soothing sounds of the ocean as you peacefully drift off to sleep.

In the morning, wake with a fresh cup of coffee in the kitchen, connect to the WiFi, and get ready for a new day of adventures. If you like to golf, make sure to bring your clubs for the world-class courses in the area, which include Bandon Dunes Golf Resort and Bandon Crossings Golf Course. Interested in exploring the area's natural surroundings? Bring along a pair of hiking boots for the trails at Bullards Beach State Park (about six miles north), or rent a watercraft in town to meander down the Coquille River. Other favorite outdoor pastimes of the area include crabbing, clamming, and fishing - so make sure to bring your tackle and poles!

The Southern Oregon Coast offers enchanting scenery and quaint living. Come see for yourself with a stay at The Starboard - book your vacation dates today!

What a great house. Beautiful views and Old Town Bandon is fabulous.

The location of this little cabin was the best. It would be hard to beat. They supply everything you might need too. Fireplace complete with wood to burn on those cooler nights or for a little ambience. It was stormy when we stayed there, but it didn’t really matter since we had an amazing view. The only not so good thing was there were no mugs for our morning coffee, even though there was a coffee pot. We figured it was an over sight, so we just bought a couple to use and left them there.
All in all it was a great experience.

Let's just say by no fault of their own our trip could have been a disaster. But the Vacasa staff - by phone & by personal visit saved the day. Not one person acted put-out or irritated even though we were calling them at 10pm.
Ultimately, our trip was fantastic. The view from the house was spectacular & our stay was relaxed & enjoyable - we will rent the same house again & tell our friends!!

Great location/view. Close to town and beach access. The house was very small, had little character and no amenaties to speak of, come prepared with your own stuff because there isn't anything there. I.e. coffee, filters, paper towels, extra towels, lawn chairs...

For what we paid I feel we did not get a fair deal. This condo didn't have the basic supplies you need in a kitchen. The rest of the condo was adequate and the view was fabulous.

We spent two nights here with our 96 lb Golden Retriever...... The unit is beautifully located on the beach and there are nice things to see, do and eat in Bandon. Unfortunately it rained most of the time we were there and the unit itself is pretty small - though the bedroom is large. So if I were single or with a partner and we were smaller people (I'm 6'1 - 200 lbs) we might return. Great views and location - just too tight for us.

Cozy and modest. Very nice place if you have a dog as it is easy and safe to get to the beach. Kitchen is better than the picture looks. You can cook anything you'd want.
