Just about five miles north of downtown, Florence has a long sandy shore at Heceta Beach. From here, join the locals in clamming, drive an additional six miles north for a visit to the Sea Lion Caves, or even do some whale watching from shore.

For a change of pace, Three Rivers Casino is just a couple of minutes northwest of the condo. Plan an evening out with dinner and a show. You can also stay right in the Old Town neighborhood and have numerous cafes and eateries to choose from - plus, a lot of options are even easily walkable from your condo.

Florence is also home to many festivals and special events. There's the Winter Folk Festival in January, the Rhododendron Festival in May, Celebrate Arts! in November, and a special visit from Santa each December.
