Walk along the beach for a few minutes to the Surfside Restaurant (one mile away by car) for some fish tacos or stuffed French toast. Wander the galleries or stop by the Waterfront Depot for their famous crab-crusted halibut (just over six miles by car). Seeking adventures while on vacation? Visit the Siuslaw River with your fishing gear six miles away, or head out to the ocean for some deep-sea fishing - there are charters that leave daily right from the coast at Florence and Coos Bay. A short 27 miles drive south is the Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area, where guests can observe the ATVs and dune buggies navigate the sand.
