Otter Rock is a quiet seaside town located about 10 minutes north of Newport, and is particularly popular with surfers and anyone visiting one of the greatest marvels of the coast: Devils Punch Bowl. This home is in a quiet, wooded area a few blocks from beach access, and is just a quick drive from larger cities.

This cozy cottage has a warm and welcoming feeling, with knotty wood walls and details. Original artwork graces the walls, adding to the overall artistic atmosphere of the house.

Inside, you will feel right at home. A sitting room has some chairs that you can arrange around the wood stove if the weather is a little chilly. Just past this sitting area is a full kitchen, which will be perfect for cooking up filling meals for everyone. There are all the basic appliances, and even a few fun extras such as a blender in case you feel like whipping up some fresh fruit smoothies (or a round of margaritas)! A dining room table has seats for four, so you and your guests can sit down together and enjoy a hot breakfast before heading out for the day.

There is also a living room, where you can nestle up on the leather sofa and watch some TV on the flatscreen. While you're here you will have cable access, as well as board games and books that you're welcome to borrow. With WiFi available throughout the home, you can even stream your Netflix account and snuggle up for a movie night. There is even a convenient washer and dryer in the corner, which will surely come in handy after a few days of exploring the coast and playing on the beach.

This home features a full bathroom with a tub/shower combination, so you can have your choice between a quick morning shower and a relaxing evening bubble bath. Both bedrooms are located upstairs. The first contains a cozy full-size bed, and the second offers two twin-size beds. All in all, up to four guests will be very comfortable here. You may even bring your furry family members with you - up to two dogs are welcome, though please note that a nightly fee will apply.

Since this home is just a few blocks east of beach access, take a quick walk down to the uncrowded beach. There you can search for sea life in tidepools, beachcomb, stroll along the sand, or even go surfing. Devils Punch Bowl State Park is just at the end of the street, and is a fantastic place to enjoy a picnic, marvel at the panoramic views of the ocean, and watch the famous Devils Punch Bowl itself. Otter Rock has few businesses, including the Flying Dutchman Winery that is worth a visit and a Mo's Restaurant that is open in the summertime.

Elsewhere along the Central Oregon Coast you will find plenty of activities to keep you busy! Newport, about a 10-minute drive south, offers a huge variety of wonderful restaurants, cute antique shops, easy beach access, and a famous aquarium. If you drive north, instead, you will pass charming Depoe Bay (the whale-watching capital of the coast) and reach Lincoln City in about 25 minutes. The popular Lincoln City offers great souvenir shops, a fun casino, and a lake where you can go fishing or boating. With several fantastic coastal cities nearby, gorgeous natural attractions, and plenty of adventure within easy reach, you will have no trouble finding ways to stay busy here!
