Boardman State Scenic Corridor- a place to hike the Oregon Coast Trail, explore secluded beaches and go for long scenic drives. Harris Beach State Park, Cape Ferrelo, the Thomas Creek Bridge, Natural Bridges and Arch Rock State Park are all within seven miles. Nearby, the town of Brookings features eclectic restaurants, shops, a small movie theatre and Azalea Park.
The cabin was designed to highlight its natural surroundings, from the covered front porch to the spacious sundeck. Enjoy a view of the ocean as you arrive and step out of your car in the driveway. There is a back deck with a gas grill and an outdoor table for meals, as well as a sheltered space for the hot tub. There is a 200-square-foot sunroom with windows where you can admire the sun rising over the mountains in the mornings.
The rest of the house is cozy and comfortable with a mini split system for heating and cooling and large windows and skylights letting in an abundance of natural light. There's an open kitchen, an eat-in dining area where you can enjoy some of the provided board games and an inviting living area with a Roku-equipped TV with guest mode capability to screen your favorite movies each night. A second TV with a Roku awaits you in the bedroom as well. DVD player, DVDs and Oregon Coast themed books also provided.
