Spacious, airy home w/2 decks & shared pool - walk to Pine Mountain Lake Marina!

Swim, golf, and kayak all summer long at this four-bedroom Groveland retreat, a welcoming, tree-lined home with two expansive decks, its very own pool table, access to a shared pool, and a lovely location within walking distance of the Pine Mountain Lake Marina.

This spacious home sits among the trees one mile northeast of downtown Groveland, the small, charming town that serves as a gateway to Yosemite National Park. Walk half a mile east to swim, launch your kayak, and sunbathe on the shores of Pine Mountain Lake; tee off at the Pine Mountain Lake Golf Course one mile northwest; and take unforgettable day trips to see El Capitan and Half Dome in Yosemite Valley 48 miles east.

With its large windows, natural wood accents, and lofty, beamed ceilings, the living space is full of outdoor-inspired comfort. Build a cozy fire in the wood-burning stove each morning, use the stainless steel appliances (including a dishwasher) to whip up pancakes and bacon in the kitchen, and sit down with your loved ones for breakfast as you make plans for the day ahead. After a morning spent on the lake, you can return home for an afternoon nap in the hammock, a barbecue lunch on one of the two decks, and a friendly game of nine-ball on the private pool table. Free WiFi lets you keep in touch with friends back home.

Come and enjoy some of California's most beautiful landscapes - book your escape to Pine Mountain Lake today!

*Pine Mountain Lake requires all guests with a vehicle to be registered, as this is a private and gated community. Passes cost $31 per vehicle and are paid for at the main gate, at the time of your arrival. Thanks! A damage waiver, covering up to $2,000 of accidental damage to the property or its contents, is included in the cost of your reservation.

Due to the current local restrictions, all shared amenities including the lake, lodge, marina, and golf course are unavailable at this time to guests until August 31st, 2020.

Parking Notes: Pine Mountain Lake requires all guests with a vehicle to be registered as a temporary resident. You must fill out the Vehicle Registration Form/link in your registration confirmation. If you made a same day reservation, you must call our local Groveland Vacasa team to ensure that each driver in your party is registered for a vehicle pass prior to your arrival. Please know how many vehicles are going to be in your party, as well as the first and last names of each driver, before calling 1-209-962-1877. If you're unable to speak with someone directly, please leave a message with your name, phone number, and reservation number. Once your names are entered in the PML visitors log, you may purchase a pass at the main gate for $31 per vehicle.

Upon arrival to Groveland, please drive to Pine Mountain Lake's main security gate kiosk, provide your name, the property address, and the length of your stay. You will pay for a parking/vehicle pass upon entering, and you must display the parking permit by hanging it on your rearview mirror during the length of your stay. The secondary address information for when you arrive at the guard gate/kiosk is Unit 1, Lot 483.

The driveway is a steep, curved driveway which is easy to access for most vehicles, but lower vehicles may need to approach slowly. When leaving the property, it is highly advised to turn left (if you're wanting to go right to the marina) first, turn into Grizzly Circle, and then make a U-turn to turn back toward the marina on Pine Mountain Lake Drive. The driveway egress is on a blind corner and is dangerous, especially if you are turning right. Please exercise caution when exiting, roll down your window to listen for oncoming traffic, or have someone guide you from across the street to let you know when pulling out is safe.

We had the chance to rent this home for a few days earlier this month. Nice house with plenty of room. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils etc. Thank you!!

We loved the house, once we could get inside. There was a lock box issue getting the key and they opening the door. The front door was very hard to open with the key that was provided. Other than than loved staying here and would recommend to others.

Thanks so much!

Here is a wonderful and luxury house with full kitchen equipment, washing machine and everything we need. There are 4 comfortable bedrooms for one to two families and warm wooden and pellet heaters in winter. They introduced us to the environment around the house and the scenery near Yosemite enthusiastically.

This place is amazing. Inside and out so extraordinary, so cozy place to live in. The house is sorrounded with large and tall pine trees. Just loving it. You can see running squirrels and walking deers. My pleasure to stay here again when I’m back to Yosemite National Park

We recommend the place, great location, everything you need and very comfy.

Very open and airy. Kitchen was well stocked with utensils and some basic provisions (oils/salt/pepper/sugar/teabags/etc).
Bedrooms downstairs are much cooler at night than upstairs which made it slightly uncomfortable at night so use extra comforters (if you prefer the cool -you'll love it!).
Wish the beds had a mattress topper on them to make it more comfortable (would be a vast improvement).
HOA/Security charges each vehicle $31 for entry - even if you're just visiting someone that's staying there. Had we known that in advance when we booked the place we would have looked for alternate places without the charge.

Great house for 2 families, lots of room, big kitchen, great location

Traveling with 6 adults and one teenager, we were looking for plenty of space to spread out on our trip to Yosemite. This was a great place to do just that. A great time was had by all. The pool table was a hit and so was the horse shoe pit in front of the house.

This house was beautiful and just what we needed for our group of 8. Sitting on the deck in the morning with coffee and watching the deer stroll by. Playing pool with our children at night. The proximity to Yosemite was perfect and allowed us to make multiple trips to the park throughout the week. We would highly recommend this for anyone. The only thing that wasn't ideal was the steep driveway, but once we got used to it, it was fine. Thank you so much!

Great home, spacious and clean, closely located to the beach area, perfect vacation stop.
Jennifer H. May 2019
The cabin felt like home away from home. We loved using Groveland as a jumping off point for a few days in Yosemite and love being able to come home to the peace of the cabin which was set up really well for our family (2 adults and 1 toddler).

The location of the house is good. They approved our early checkin which made our trip easier. The house is well maintained. We had a short stay. There are some small things that I want to provide feedback on:
1) There is a $30 parking fee that you pay that wasn't mentioned before renting this house.
2) The kitchen doesn't have enough pots and pans for a good meal. For example, it had only a small pan while the house can accommodate up to 8 people. It made cooking harder. It doesn't make sense in this beautiful big kitchen.
3) There was no hairdryer although it said there would be.
4) The gas tank for the BBQ was empty. It is said you can call a number and order, however it is inconvenient in a short stay.

Spacious. Clean. Wild animals. There is a lake 2 minutes away

Our family loved this place.

Great location and just what we needed for our golf event.

This is a great place to stay! House is clean, comfortable and really makes you feel at home with all the amenities you’d need. Gated community and very close to the lake. Groveland is a nice little town with that old California mining town feel. People in town are all super friendly. Beautiful area and short trip to Yosemite making it easy to go in and out of the park daily. Would definitely stay again.

Good to have curtains in the rooms and hanging lights in the rooms downstairs. Overall nice experience

Cabin was clean and well stocked, good layout, walking distance to Marina. Overall cozy and well taken care of. Nice deck and front yard area with a hammock and fire pit. No A/C, one bedroom is very small & really really steep driveway though so giving it 4 stars.
Jose C. Jun 2018
Two floors with lots of room but still felt cozy. Fully furnished and great theme. Only thing that could be improved would be A/C in the summer
Karin P. Jun 2018
House was great, itresllysuited is. The parking is tight and a bit awkwardly. Otherwise great!
Michael T. Jun 2018
Kitchen and main living space nice but bathrooms were not very clean. Also, no window treatments - lack of privacy.
Pay attention to pulling in and out of driveway - very important!
Mayra G. Jun 2018
Loved all the amenities you get by renting this house.
