Recent Groveland vacation rental reviews

Is our first time traveling to the Pine Mountain Lake. The location and set up are extremely friendly for a family. All the amenities are in a great shape and brand new. The location is very convenient and lots of things to do. Great option if you wanted to spend some time off from business of the city. Came across this location by accident I wish they would advertise more feel very lucky to be able to find it definitely will come back. Almost the same distance as a Lake Tahoe but a lot less expensive and most definitely more friendly. Looking forward coming back in the summer.

Comfortable, cozy house with well equipped kitchen, good beds, warm family time. Great access to Groveland, Pine Mountain Lake Amenities, and trails at Buck Meadows and Yosemite. Home away from home while vacationing! Highly recommend to future guests.

Our family loves Groveland and the Pine Mountain Lake area. We’ve stayed at this cabin several times and love the home. It has everything you’ll need. We love the deck and the view of the stars at night. The backyard is great for the kids with plenty of area to run around. It also has a ping pong table in the garage, which our family loves. The home is in a quiet area of the mountain with plenty of deer roaming around. The grocery market is close by and is well stocked. The cabin has a fully equipped kitchen, which is nice because we enjoy cooking. For the times we don’t want to cook, there is a great pizza place close by, I think it’s the Pizza Guys and we like stopping by Mountain Sage for coffee and pastries in the morning. Yosemite is beautiful year-round, and the lake at Pine Mountain a ton of fun during the spring and summer.

Where is Groveland, CA?

Sitting just on the west perimeter of enchanting Yosemite National Park, Groveland offers a quaint, historic downtown and easy access to Pine Mountain Lake.

Yosemite National Park

With California's most famous national park so close by, Groveland serves as a popular home base if you plan to explore Yosemite. This 747,956-acre park is absolutely stunning, with beautiful granite cliffs, tall sequoias, and majestic waterfalls.

Open year-round, you can experience everything from hiking, river rafting, and stargazing to winter sports like downhill and cross-country skiing. Downhill skiing is available at the Badger Pass Ski Area (57 miles from Groveland), the oldest ski area in California, while cross-country skiing and snowshoeing trails are open throughout the park. When the snow melts, renting a bicycle and taking a day to ride around the park makes for a fantastic two-wheeled adventure.
