We loved the spacious, clean, and interesting home. The overall scenery was picture perfect. The flowers, raspberry picking, frog and star gazing were all delightful. Highly recommend this special spot to anyone!

This lovely house was stocked with everything we could want, and the property was amazing for strolling (and the occasional swim). Views are excellent. Our group of friends had a great reunion here, relaxing on the deck, snuggling up around the fire on cool nights, cooking together in the kitchen. I recommend this house without any hesitation!

We had a wonderful time at this home! Beautiful views and a lovely home.

We stayed here for a week in the summer and it was divine. This is the quintessential New England home - full of historic charm, surrounded by natural beauty, and absolutely practical. The house suited all of our needs, the kitchen is well equipped, the beds are very comfortable and every inch of the house was clean. We enjoyed sitting on the porch to take in the picture-perfect view, and taking the dog for walks around the gorgeous trees, flowers, hills, pond, and lawn. The home itself is a destination but we enjoyed so much in the surrounding area as well - Okemo, Buttermilk Falls, the VT Country Store, Woodstock, Sugarbush and Billings Farms, the Calvin Coolidge Historic Site, Lake Champlain and the Ben & Jerry’s Factory. We can tell that this home is a very special place and we thank the hosts for sharing it with us.

The gardens and the property are wonderful.

Perfect home for our family ski trip. Home was cozy and comfortable and we liked the fireplace being separate from the house tv. The house is close enough to shuttle kids to and from the mountain and not lose a lot of ski time. We did get one car stuck on the road up to the house (it was a sedan) so if it’s winter time a 4 wheel drive (all wheel drive) car is best.

This house was lovely. Only about 15 minutes from Okemo and just absolutely stunning home. The only thing to note is that the road doesn’t get plowed and the house is at the top of a hill. My car isn’t AWD and there was a big dumping of snow which later became ice and my car couldn’t make it to the top - I had to leave it and walk up. That’s the only downfall. I did let them know that the street needed to be plowed and had salt or grit thrown down and it seems someone did so as I was able to get my car up the next day and my legs were no longer knee deep in snow haha. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you can think of btw. Thank you for a lovely stay. Can’t wait to come back here.

We were thrilled with the size and homey-ness of this wonderful mountain home. The house was great, everything you could need was thought of. Watching the morning sun on the autumn landscape with a good cup of coffe was amazing, and there were so many great hiking trails on property and within a short drive.
We truly enjoyed our stay and the perfect venue to enjoy time with family. We hope to visit again!
We were without hot water the first night as the boiler pilot light was out, but kudos to Ryan on the Vacasa maintenance team who got it corrected first thing the morning we contacted them.

My wife, 3 adult children and and I had a very nice 5-night stay here Columbus Day weekend 2020. Check in was done online and the key was in a lock box on the door which made for easy access on arrival. The house sits on a very large property, with grassy areas, small pond, and nearby woods. The view from the living room is fantastic! Lovely deck with the same views. The dining room is beautiful, with a large table that accommodates 8 easily. The first floor bedroom and bath are cozy. Stairs up to the second floor are a bit steep, but the bedrooms and baths up there are relatively spacious. We were all pretty comfortable. We enjoyed looking through the owner's photos and mementos from their extensive travel!
Highly recommend this house. Would love to return at some point!

We enjoyed the view as well as the layout of the home. Plenty of space and seating for all. At night you can sit out, look up at the sky and see shooting stars!

Loved loved loved the space. So many nice rustic touches and charm in this spacious but quaint getaway. Felt so cozy and homey, like I had already lived there once before. Great for my family and 2 dogs. The dogs and my nephew could not get enough of the yards.
So much room to run and play. My mom painted the amazing view on canvas. The evening stars are breathe-taking. Wish I could stay a month :). Beds very comfortable, water pressure perfect.

Stayed in this lovely home for 18 days to get away from the Pandemic in Connecticut and in part for the adventure and loved it! Kids were able to do their school work using the wifi.
Amazing views of the mountains, huge property to explore on hikes, etc., and cozy all around! Loved sitting by the fireplace every night playing games. We would definitely come back.

We had a wonderful couple of days in your beautiful home. Reminded me of my grandparents farmhouse - loved it! The house was very clean, had plenty of space, and was a perfect base for our ski vacation. We got rained/iced out day one and had a great day hanging out in front of the fireplace catching up on our reading. Your snowplow driver did the neatest job ever the following morning. We would love to come back again - what a great place!!

The location and view from this home is fantastic. Waking up every morning to mountains out the windows. Only 13 minutes to Okemo and 35 minutes to Bear Lodge/Killington. Will definitely stay here again. Our Golden Retriever also enjoyed being able to stay with us. So much land to roam.

We had the most lovely stay at the Mount Holly home. The place is the perfect balance of cozy country atmosphere with all the modern amenities one could want. It’s very comfortable with plenty of room to spread out and it has beautiful views. We made great meals in the kitchen and shared them around the large dining room table, had festive nights playing games around the fire place, and took brisk walks in the surrounding fields. It’s perfectly located between Ludlow and Rutland, easily accessible to both for provisions, with closer convenience and country stores for supplies in a pinch. It’s also a quick drive to Okemo for skiing, but also within easy striking distance of Stratton, Bromley, Pico, Killington, and other mountains. We will definitely be back, and will look for summer and fall opportunities at this lovely and comfortable location.

Our family spent Thanksgiving at this lovely home. We enjoyed the well-equipped kitchen, relaxing by the fire, and walks on the quiet country road. There was lots of space for our group of 6 adults, and we were so happy to be able to bring our dog along for the holiday. Loved our stay in this quiet and cozy country home. Highly recommend!

The house is set up great! The views from the house/deck are amazing. Location to Ludlow, Okemo and surrounding areas is excellent. Very comfortable, included everything we needed.

My family of four stayed here during President's week. It's a beautiful home (cozy, charming and lots of room to spread out) and there is a lot to do in the area, especially if you like skiing. Okemo is only 10 min away. Also, a great place to just sit back and enjoy the gorgeous views by the fire. We can't say enough good things about the house and overall experience. The home was so welcoming, we felt like we were visiting family. We look forward to coming back maybe in another season, as it would be great any time of year- the property is truly exceptional! The quintessential Vermont getaway....
