The view at this house is spectacular. This is our second year here and my grandsons first trip to Maine. He loved collecting sea glass and climbing the rocks with his Daddy. Thank you for a beautiful year!

I stayed here for a 3 day weekend with my father, husband, and 2 year old daughter. It was the perfect space to take your mind off the busy every day life. The place is clean, cozy, and has everything you need. The views are stunning from the living room to the rooftop. We will definitely be back!

There's ALWAYS something to see through the windows onto the harbor. Clean, excellent amenities.

Filthy house at check in: grime, dirt, hair, dust, food crumbs. I am absolutely furious at the condition of this home. We were traveling with children and were unable to secure another housing option last minute. I want my money back.
Manager response:
Hi, Mary! We're so disappointed to read you found the home filthy and wish you had called right away so we could have addressed it for you. Hopefully you found the house well maintained and were able to enjoy your vacation. Thanks!

Thank you for allowing my family to enjoy your home. We had a wonderful week looking at the view of the Cuckolds. Can’t wait to return!

What a wonderful week spent at this rustic oceanfront home! The wide winter views from the living and dining rooms are spectacular on sunny and rainy days. The 2nd floor deck has million dollar views. Spent hours sipping coffee, reading good books and watching the tide come in and go out. Lucky having a fun moon shining over the nearby lighthouse - priceless. 1 bedroom/1 bath on 1st floor. 2 bedrooms and bath + sun deck on 2nd floor - narrow, steep stairs to consider for those with mobility concerns. All the conveniences here - internet, cable, full kitchen. 15 minutes from Boothbay Harbor restaurants. 100% would rent again - this stay reminded me why I love Maine!

The views are incredible and the house easily can host a big family. It’s sad to leave

This was a great house on the water with awesome views. The upstairs deck would have been used more if the weather had cooperated. Comfy beds and a well-stocked kitchen added to our enjoyment. If I were to vacation in this area again, I'd consider staying here.

The location couldn't be better, wall to wall windows with a rooftop deck! Even in early may we spent a lot of time outdoors enjoying the home. A 15 minute ride to Boothbay was amazing. We would love to stay here again!

Wide, serene seascape views. Remote and private, yet within 10 minute drive of downtown Boothbay Harbor. Well kept with full amenities.

The home was wonderful and the views were amazing. We truly enjoyed just sitting and looking at the view for hours. Great coffee mornings relaxing.

we stayed the past week and it was great. We did several hiking trails in the area, antique shopping, and enjoyed East Boothbay. We had a minor issue the first and resolved it was a TV issue. Otherwise great place to stay!!

Postcard views from a clean and comfortable home. This slice of Newagen Maine hits the spot for those seeking peace and quiet. — We think a grill (charcoal/propane) and some seating in the yard (Adirondack chairs/picnic table) would enhance the experience for summer renters.

First the pros:

This house is exactly as described and shown in the pictures. We loved the views, the glider chairs and the deck. It was exactly what we were hoping for. Close enough to be an easy drive into town, but secluded and quiet. We also had great starry nights and amazing views of the skies.

The cons:
1) when we arrived there were ants all over the dining table. We sprayed some raid and never had the issue again over the course of the two weeks. However, with another review mentioning this issue, it might be something to keep in mind.

2) deck furniture is wet i. The morning with dew and takes a while to dry- something to note.

3) the house could use a fire pit, some Adirondack chairs and a grill. Other homes in the are had that stuff and it would make a world of difference.

4) There were all kinds of leftover oils and spices and what not in the kitchen- hard to know how long any of that stuff had been there. In general the owners stuff was not locked away but strewn throughout the house, unlike I have ever seen in other rentals. It did not bother us, but is something to note.

What a slice of heaven this place is! We loved everything about it including the Newagen Alpaca Farm up the street! Heavenly week!

What a great spot there on the bluff. We didn’t spend very much time in the home, but it seemed to have everything you would need. I loved the “glider” chairs where one could sit all day and watch the tide roll in. Wish we had more time there!

The house, at the very tip of Southport Island, provided gorgeous view and sunsets. Quiet but not secluded, it was a mere 20 min out of Boothbay Harbor. This beautiful deck view is on the second story, accessible by both upstairs bedrooms and has an automatic awning for really sunny days. The living/dining rooms are one long room with a wall of windows on 3 sides, and some comfy glider chairs and sofa to take it all in. Beds were very comfortable. Easy walk to the public pier nearby. Modern kitchen was very nice. We enjoyed having Alexa select some great listening music after our days out exploring the mid-coast. Note to older guests, as a nicely remodeled older home, the stairs were narrow and winding.

Not clean and odor, we left property!
Manager response:
We apologize the home was not in pristine condition for you. We have followed-up with housekeeping and hope the compensation offered shows our desire to care for our guests.
Mildred M. Jun 2019
Stunning views and comfortable home
Audrey P. May 2019
We enjoyed every aspect about the home and surrounding with the exception of some ants in the kitchen and a retractable awning the clanked in the wind causing two from our party to loose sleep.
Manager response:
Audrey, we are so glad you had a wonderful vacation. We apologize for the awning keeping your family awake. The local team has been made aware that the awning needs attention. Thank you.
