A little bungalow tucked in near the lagoon and a few blocks from the beach. Nice and quiet, but best part they allowed us to bring our dog. It’s also within walking distance from the promenade, so there are many things to do and see while staying in the cottage. I would stay there again!!

We loved this little cottage and can’t wait to go back! Super clean and had all the extra linens we could need. Just the right size for a family of 4 + dog. The deck and yard are fenced and gated. Perfectly located, just a few blocks from the beach promenade yet tucked away from the crowds so it stays quiet. Easy to get to restaurants, beach, promenade and Broadway attractions.

We loved the fact that the place was so well equipped with everything you could need for a vacation getaway. Everything was clean and very orderly. Our only complaint was the moldy smell of the house. It’s a very humid location and keeping mold down is probably very difficult. There was no mold to be found but you could definitely get a strong smell throughout the house. We bought a nice smelling candle and problem solved for our stay. I would’ve easily given the place 5 stars if not for the smell. Beautiful location and a very lovely place otherwise.

The house is small, but has a very large deck. We didn't use the grill, but were happy to see it was clean and had plenty of propane available.

Kitchen - well appointed, but has dated appliances. Specifically, the dishwasher was loud and the fridge made lots of noises. However, we were impressed with the amount of spices and various kitchen items.

Dining - the dining table is suitable for 4 people and worked great for board games.

Bedrooms - The linen was clean and plenty of extra blankets were available. The beds are firm... like really firm. I personally prefer this and found them to be 8/10 in comfort. I imagine many will find them to be too hard.

Living Room - Comfortable seating for 5 people.

Bathroom - clean with plenty of towels and TP provided. There is only one bathroom, so you may need to manage shower times for larger groups.

Location - a few blocks from the promenade and easy walking distance to most things. The house is tucked away behind other homes so the driveway is easy to miss (it's between two mailboxes).

Parking - Easily fit two cars right next to the house without blocking anyone. We didn't use the garage, but it could fit a car as well and has a foosball table.

WiFi - excellent wifi and internet speeds (I was able to get 250Mbps)

TV - Large Roku TV that supports ApplePlay. We were able to stream Hulu from an iPad to the TV.

Nitpicks - the flooring was uneven, especially where the living room meets the kitchen. The bathtub has an anti-slip mat that provides less traction than without it. One of our group stepped on the mat and it slid sideways under his feet. We just removed it to avoid any further slips.

Overall - Great place to stay - 4/5 stars.

Great location to a short walk to the beach, away from the crowds and tucked away enough to be quiet and private. Thank you for the small details of soaps and detergent and beach towels. We had everything we needed. Especially thankful for the beach wagon, chairs and Foosball table. Great 1st rental house experience. An ice maker would put it over the top!

The only complaint I had was that we nearly ran out of tp and there was only one box of Kleenex in the house.

This vacation rental was great, fully stocked kitchen, very nice updated kitchen and everything we needed to have a relaxing vacation. The beds were very firm but I prefer a softer bed to my liking(person prefers). Will definitely be back

I loved my stay however I did not feel like the house was very clean. Especially the bathroom. That is my only complaint. Please discuss with your cleaning company. They need to a deeper clean with flooring’ corners, baseboards where dust and other things collect. Very cute place and location.

This home was perfect for our weekend get away from the city! It was spotless, clean and very comfortable. The linens were nice and the beds were newer and very comfortable. It is located in a quiet neighborhood, just a short three blocks from the beach and close enough to downtown Seaside to walk into town for coffee or meals. Our kids loved the books! Thank you for welcoming our family! We will be back.

This home was exactly what we needed for a family decompress and hangout for a few days. With two kids and a dog this home was everything we needed. Appointed with just enough, clean, comfortable, and with good fenced outdoor space and the sanctuary like feel of being able to watch the tide come in and out along the river/estuary off the back deck. Herons, ducks, and quality family time. It was all we needed, thanks so much for making this wonderful home open to families with pets.

This house was great for our family of 5 (3 small children who could share a room). It was nice and clean and set up with everything we needed. It's tucked off the roads so has a nice driveway, garage, deck and yard. Just a couple minute walk to the beach or to downtown Seaside. We would happily come back.

The house is quaint, clean, cozy and a home away from home. It’s in a peaceful location with a view of the river and it’s wildlife. It’s perfect for a nature lover.
It was a nice surprise to see that the yard was indeed fenced in for our golden doodle puppy. She loved playing ball and checking out the wonderful deck in back.
Inside the home felt cozy and well decorated to make you feel at home. There was a nice game table and also a foosball table in the garage. It had plenty of linens, laundry soap, dishwasher soap, tp, and paper towels.
The only thing we could think of that the home needed was a set of measuring cups for cooking. A recycling bin for the milk jugs, juice containers, water jugs and cardboard boxes that we couldn’t recycle at Safeway.

Very private, huge deck with views of the creek and wetlands. Home itself is on the small side, only 1 bathroom. However very clean, included everything you might need. Just a few block from the beach, walking distance to downtown too, just a great location. Thermostat was confusing, unable to adjust. We had a great time.

We were so excited to see how close this home away from home was to everything. Easy walking to the beach to the main attractions and resturants. The cottage was well equipped to meet our needs. Porch with a barbeque and a river view. We had a blast.

The house was great. It was close to the beach, but away from the noise and the crowds. We felt secluded and private, but only a two minute walk to everything downtown Seaside had to offer. The deck was amazing -- giving us a great view of the river and all the wildlife.
The 10 a.m. check out time was a bit early, but understandable with all the extra cleaning they have to do before the next family comes in.
Hope to stay here again!

We took our 92 year old mom and sister to the beach in order for them to walk the boardwalk and smell the ocean. The home had everything we needed for our 2 night stay. The ocean was a few blocks away in addition to a beautiful view of the river from the very comfortable back deck. The beds were very comfortable, the home was sparkling clean, there were bikes available to ride and the kitchen had lots of pots, pans and everything needed for making meals. The home was peaceful, restful and very inviting. We felt at home.

We loved our stay at this small and tidy home. Walking distance to the beach, the Prom and town, yet very quiet. We enjoyed the lovely deck and were very grateful to be able to bring our small dog. The kitchen was fully stocked and with Safeway nearby, we were totally set for a few meals at home. We appreciated having beach mats and towels all set.

The house was a little musty when we arrived but opening the windows and using some citrus air freshener worked quickly. It was otherwise spotless. We highly recommend!
