We did love the location and also the fact that it is a historical home. Also, communication with the company was also very good. They always answered quickly.

Great location and quirky place to stay. We were there in July and the AC system worked well for us. I would give this more stars, but it's an OLD property. The ground floor smells of stagnant air and old furniture. This dissipates on the way up to the 2nd and 3rd floors, but if folks have respiratory issues, I'd stay away. If the owners put a little into the air quality and touched up a few things, this property would be amazing.
Manager response:
Jace, thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. We will be sure to pass your suggestions along to our local manager who will work with our homeowner to make necessary upgrades. We look forward to hosting you again!

For the price and the location this place was 5 stars. For some of the issues on the property it’s a 4 star. On the listing the house looked quirky but charming, and we were interested to check it out. When we arrived it’s definitely a bit more on the creepy side but definitely something you would expect from an older Savannah house that’s been intentionally decorated to be quirky. I think what put it over the top was not knowing if you were going to have someone pop out of the “owner area/do not enter” labeled doors that are throughout the property. Another thing that caught us off guard was the chair lift on the first flight of stairs. While I think it’s great that they’re trying to make this property my handicapable the lift made the older historical stairs much more narrow, so when navigating with luggage you aren’t sure if you’re going to topple over.

The property also had some mechanical/cosmetic issues. The AC was out on the second floor and the manager Terrie was very responsive and had it fixed the next day. We ended up just shacking up in the attic anyways due to above stated ghost/goblin/random person appearance fears lol. The cleanliness of the walls wasn’t on point but the bathrooms were good. There was an air vent that was ready to fall out that the gentleman who responded for the AC fixed, but the blinds in the second floor bedroom were messed up and you were unable to lower them. Also a power outlet in the attic was falling out of the wall and brick was actively crumbling and falling behind the couch.

The other weird thing is that it appears you can have two separate parties rent the house? This wasn’t disclosed either. There’s two sets of keys, one for the front door and attic and one for the front door and second floor room. So that may be something to be aware of, if you’re booking there could possibly be another party renting part of the house.

Overall it was a pleasant stay, it was great to be so close to Forsyth. The management team were excellent and will hopefully address the issues we brought to their attention. But I think it’s on to the next property for our next adventure in Savannah!
Manager response:
We are delighted to hear you enjoyed your stay. Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback and hope to have the opportunity to host you again soon.

This house is true to the old style of Savannah. It was on the side of almost scary at night, but a fun place for two couples to stay who enjoy antique style.

We really enjoyed the location and the southern charm.

The Savannah Sunlight apartment was in a great location, we walked everywhere except for the Bonaventure Cemetery. The apartment was quirky and fun, we only used the 2nd and 3rd floor. The neighbors were private and quiet; we couldn't hear a thing from either side. We'd certainly stay here again on our next visit to Savannah.
