Cottage was very clean & well kept. All kitchen necessities were available to prepare meals at home. A/C unit kept us very cool & comfortable. It was in close proximity to many beaches and attractions. We had a great time and we will be visiting beautiful Maine for many years to come.

We enjoyed our brief stay at this beach cottage. It was everything we needed for our family of 4. We did have an issue with the TV (I I wanted to watch a sporting event!) and since they don't have regular cable, there was an issue. But the folks from Vacasa handled it very rapidly and were great! Can't say enough about that service. We would definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for a nice, comfortable spot near Kennebunk.

We had 5 adults and 1 child and the cottage still felt roomy enough. I loved the tvs in the bedrooms and main room and the individual heat/air controls in each bedroom and main room. Beach chairs and beach towels were available, which was great. Parsons Beach is a walk. There are 5-6 parking spaces so go by 9:00 am or after 3:00. If there are no spaces, you can drop people and beach stuff off then 1 person will have to walk to the beach and walk back to get a car to pick up the rest of your group and stuff when you are finished. My grandson loved the pool, playground, basketball court, and cornhole. There are plenty of places to eat around. It's a great place to stay.
The reason I did not give 5 stars is that there was nobody onsite that we were told to contact - it was an 800 number to call- as well as when I booked, there were delays in answering my questions via email and the phone number voicemail stated to wait until my trip was closer to call. I will say that the email response was much quicker when we were at the cottage.
Manager response:
We sincerely apologize for any delay in the service you received. Please know that we are experiencing a higher than normal call and email volume due to increased rental demand at this time resulting in long hold times and delayed responses. We are delighted to hear you otherwise enjoyed the Shorelines Resort Cottage. We appreciate your feedback as our guest’s comfort is very important to us. We look forward to having the opportunity to host you for another enjoyable stay.

The cottage itself was nice although would be small with more then 4 adults. If you are bringing a pet I would suggest you check before renting what the pet policy actually is. It is not as pet friendly as I would have expected and would have made another choice if I had known it ahead of time.
Manager response:
Hi Laura, thank you for staying with us. We are sorry if you had any inconvenience with having your pup along. This home is dog friendly. The local HOA may have additional rules for dogs, but ours are basically what we would believe pet owners would follow already. We would love to host you and your dog again in the future.
