Charming vintage lodge with fireplace, deck & grill - walk to Lake Cle Elum
Whether you're planning a fun-filled summer of swimming, boating, and fishing on Lake Cle Elum or a winter of snowshoeing, skiing, and curling up by the fire, this vintage lodge in Ronald is the comfortable home base you're looking for. You'll spend summer days grilling outside on the deck in the fragrant forest air and winter evenings watching movies with your loved ones as the snow piles up outside.
Built in 1977 and full of its original character, the lodge offers several thoughtful updates and features to keep you comfortable in every season. Step inside, set your boots on the rack to dry, and be greeted by wood paneling throughout, two-story ceilings, and a wall of windows that frame the forested neighborhood. The living room, dining room, and kitchen all come together in this open main level, so you can easily spend time with your companions whether you're cooking, sharing a meal, or watching movies on the wall-mounted smart TV (with a DVD player and DVDs) with the gas fireplace heating the entire lodge. The owners love to cook, so the kitchen is outfitted with every essential appliance, tool, and utensil, including a stainless steel French door refrigerator, a gas range, and K-cup, French press, and traditional coffee makers. You can prepare meals indoors with music playing on the Bose speaker or step outside onto the back deck to get the Weber gas grill going. There's ample space to dine in the light-filled dining area and outside on the deck. At night, as the day's clothes and swimsuits refresh themselves in the private washer/dryer, you'll have your choice of one bedroom downstairs and a cozy upstairs loft.
The lodge sits in a woodland community of both part-time and year-round residents, on the only road in the neighborhood with year-round car access. You'll be able to walk to Speelyi Beach Park on the southeast shores of Lake Cle Elum (half a mile southwest), where you can swim, boat, and fish for rainbow trout, lake trout, and kokanee. Cascade Playtime Rentals (just under two miles northwest) can even connect you to boats, canoes, and snowmobiles to enhance your stay. When it's time to relax, Swiftwater Cellars (eight miles southeast) offers local wines for guests to try seven days a week, along with cocktails and dining.

What an wonderful place to get away. Everything is so well thought-out, so many great extras (the coffee bar, all the supplies, even "go" cups. Comfy beds and furniture, spotless. Highly recommend.

Wow, what a perfect weekend! Our family was in need of a weekend getaway to just sit, relax and rejuvenate. This cute cabin was exactly what we needed and had everything you can think of to make our stay comfortable. We watched movies, played boardgames, sat in front of the cozy fireplace, and even ventured outside for some cold weather S'mores with the kiddo. We will definitely be back the next time we need to recharge the batteries.

My sisters and I completely enjoyed this cabin for a getaway. The cabin was SO well equipped with everything needed for a peaceful time away. Highly recommend!

Beautiful place, we loved it! It was a pleasure.

Our original booking a few miles away had to be cancelled at the last minute due to river flooding. We were re-located to the Lakedale Lodge and could not have been happier! This little cabin was perfect for our trip. We loved the location and all of the little amenities, including a generous welcome gift with s'mores goodies & more! It was scenic, peaceful and comfortable.

We have stayed locally at several places in the area and this home is hands down the BEST over any of them. We could literally cook anything in the kitchen it was so thoughtfully equipped. Panini press, yes. Air fryer too. Nice gas range, condiment packets of 12 kinds, spices, sundries, etc. Quality cookware and dishes.
Smart TV made things easy and a bose speaker for music. We had loads of games, movies, books and puzzles to choose from. The beds were incredibly comfortable. Cozy throws on the couch, and an amazing fireplace. Bathrooms were completely stocked from shampoo, conditioner and body wash to had wash and lotion, individually packaged Q-tips and cotton pads and a bin of commonly forgotten items. The deck has an amazing b-b-q and plenty of space. The house is spotless and incredibly well maintained and has a very cool vintage vibe. Coffee bar was fantastic with a nice variety of coffees, sugar packets, sugar substitutes, teas, ciders, and creamers. They even had to go cups. Fire pit area was closed due to snow, but looking forward to a next visit to enjoy that. A great value for the money and such a wonderful place to stay.

This cabin is the cleanest most well stocked rentals I have ever stayed in. It’s location is perfect for a quick getaway that is close to many hiking trails, parks, Roslyn, and Leavenworth. We would love to stay here again !

Was more like coming home. The place was very clean. We were all amazed how well stocked the place was. If we forgot anything, Lakedale was sure to have it! From the coffee, to the toiletries the home was well appointed, tastefully decorated and the beds were remarkably comfortable. Usually rentals seems to skip on the mattress. I came to run a 100 mile race and it was the first time I have ever slept before race morning. The bed was more comfortable than my own. I appreciated this the night after the race as well! I would rent here again in a heartbeat.

Lakedale Lodge was amazing, we wish we could have stayed longer! The owners have thought of everything, which makes it feel like your own home away from home! The kitchen was well stocked, the video library was impressive and the bed we slept in was super comfortable. The owners have thought of everything, including a few well-placed notes to help if you might have a question. In addition, they have a binder filled with good trail recommendations and other suggestions to enjoy the area. The cabin location is perfect for hiking/biking or enjoying Lake Cle Elum. We will definitely be back, as this cabin is truly a gem!

Exceptional hosts! Incredibly clean and organized house. Well supplied with anything you could need on a vacation. The house was very welcoming and had a great collection of games and puzzles. Deer and turkey viewings were aplenty, and we were lucky to see a bear our last day of the stay. Would gladly stay again and recommend to anyone considering this location.

We spent a lovely early summer weekend at Lakedale Lodge. We're a family of four with elementary-aged boys and there was plenty of room for all of us.
The home is very well stocked and there are lots of little details that we appreciated - extra toiletries, phone chargers, and definitely the A/C!
The home was very clean and everything - including the grill outside - worked well. We enjoyed it so much we're already talking about booking another trip back!

Judy and Joe’s cozy sanctuary was such a joy to experience while vacationing with my husband and toddler. We played in the sun at Speelyi Beach, fished at Easton Lake, and made s’mores around the fire right outside our cabin. Thank you for providing the landscape to our new, forever family vacation memories!

Exceptionally well maintained home with a well stocked kitchen and comfortable seating throughout. We slept well, enjoyed the movies supplied and the sound of the trees whispering.

Your cabin was perfect for our first girls’ trip. We loved watching Christmas movies and being cuddled up by the fire. Thanks for letting us stay.

What a peaceful and relaxing weekend at Lakedale Lodge! Our small family stayed at this cute cabin for a much-needed weekend getaway. The cabin had everything we could possibly need to make our own meals, keep us comfortable and entertained. The beds were comfortable and our 12-year-old loved having the loft all to himself, although it would be plenty spacious and private enough for another couple. We enjoyed sitting in front of the fireplace in the evenings, watching movies and even played a few of the games. There are several small towns close by that we had fun exploring. There was a welcome book at the cabin with recommendations on local places and all the ones we visited were great. With Cle Elum so easy to access from the west side, we will definitely be back when we need a little R&R.

I cannot express how amazing this place is. We came here and the power was out for the first day and night, but we still felt cozy! It is the most well prepared and supplied place we have EVER stayed in. The décor, the coziness, the little notes everywhere…we LOVED it. Can wait to stay again. My husband surprised me with this stay as a birthday getaway and it has been a wonderful place to celebrate. The Lodge felt like a home, so cozy, so well supplied, all your little touches, we LOVED it Thank you!

Thank you so much for opening your lovely home for us. Due to COVID-19, we were unable to go on our honeymoon as planned. My husband suggested we rent a local cabin and when yours popped up, we knew it was the one. Thank you for making our honeymoon special and amazing!
Jessica J.Oct 2020
We just stayed there for the weekend, and my goodness, it was peaceful, relaxing, and just had every amenity you could think of, plus if you forgot something the owners had it pretty well stocked, and had little personal touches throughout. I would recommend this place to anyone, looking for a relaxing getaway in the mountains. I hope we get the chance to stay here again, as it was incredibly charming and everything we could have wanted and more for a weekend trip.

Lakedale Lodge was the perfect getaway for our girl`s weekend. away from the city. The cabin is situated in a great neighborhood of other nice cabins and has everything needed away from home. We were very impressed with tasteful decor, cozy gas fireplace, and the layout. The size was perfect with a bedroom down and a loft bedroom up with it`s own half bath. It`s fully stocked with movies, books to read, comfy furniture to relax on and even a full-size BBQ on the expansive deck. We enjoyed the neighborhood and our trips into Roslyn and Lake Cle Elum, which are both just minutes away. We will be back!

Peaceful, relaxing and has every amenity you could think of. Loves our weekend there.
Rochelle G.Aug 2020
What a wonderful place the owners have created! The attention to details in the decor and provisions left us in awe. We especially loved the retro feel. The loft was super cozy. What a great weekend! We really hope we get to come back and experience it again!
Heidi H.Aug 2020
Lakedale Lodge was a great weekend getaway. The cute cabin was VERY well appointed. From a new Weber BBQ on the deck, to kitchen cookware, spices, you name it. The kitchen has a brand new French-door style fridge and brand new propane range/oven which made cooking enjoyable. There are lots of extras in case you forgot something (toiletries, etc). DVD's, beach towels, you name it. It was all really well thought out by the owners and very obvious they care about the place and their guests. The decor is welcoming and very comfortable. We had 2 couples and had plenty of room and plenty of privacy with the loft being the 2nd sleeping area. The loft has its own 1/2 bath so no creeping down the stairs in the middle of the night! We ended up meeting several of the neighbors and everyone was very friendly. Speelyi Beach, on Cle Elum Lake, is about a two minute drive down the road. The lake was low when we were there, but no problem...who needs a launch ramp when you can back your water toys right in the water anywhere on the beach! (4WD is a must however) The lake was gorgeous and the water was perfect to cool off in on the 90 degree day we had. The beach was packed, so get there early if you know its going to be a nice day...we secured our spot by 9am, and by 11am water-access parking was hard to find. The cute town of Roslyn, WA (famous from the TV show Northern Exposure) is about 10 minutes or less down the road. Some neat pubs and restaurants there and just a nice, quaint feeling. Everyone had a great time and we'd definitely go back and do it again.
