Spacious and serene, this beautiful Sunset Island townhouse has four full bedrooms, three full baths, and two half-baths. This home is an end unit with two wrap-around porches, a private dining porch off the kitchen, and a small balcony off the fourth-floor bedroom, which is a private suite. The property is only one block away from Sunset Island's private bayside beach, the clubhouse with indoor and outdoor pools, the interactive fountains, and the general store. The kitchen is fully equipped with a large dining area that seats 10 easily. The bedrooms are beautifully furnished with high-end bedding and a full-size crib is available. The two-car garage and driveway provide ample parking. Beach toys and bicycles are available for guest use. You will enjoy every square foot of this home, and you'll love the free WiFi!

This 37-acre gated area is a private island community located on 67th Street. The condo and the community are perfect for a family to spend a relaxing week at the beach. You'll be just two blocks from the ocean, restaurants, mini-golf, the OC Bus, and numerous shops. The community amenities include indoor and outdoor pools, a clubhouse, shoreline walking paths, bayside beaches, interactive fountains, and much more.

Please note, there is a building registration fee of $110, which gets you six facility passes and three parking passes. Additional facility passes are $70 per pass, per person, per week, and are subject to availability.

Some community amenities may not be open or available due to community COVID restrictions. Vacasa does not manage community amenities and has no control over their opening, closing, or restriction requirements.

Parking Notes: Parking permits are required at Sunset Island and you will receive the appropriate passes in your check-in packet. You will receive 3 green passes to allow you to park in the garage and parking pad only. Parking anywhere outside of the designated assigned garage space is a parking violation and subject to ticketing and towing. You must ensure that your vehicle fits completely in the space. Oversized vehicles and trailers are not permitted. Parking is strictly enforced and vehicles not abiding by rules may be subject to towing at the owner's expense. Parking permits must be displayed at all times.

Additional parking may be available for purchase for an additional $70 and at the community's discretion based on availability.

There is free side-street parking on 67th street (except red curbs) and paid municipal lots in the area.

This property is well maintained, spacious and clean. Kid friendly. It has a lot of steps but all the houses do it it the layout of the community. My preference would be hardwood floors over carpeting but the carpet was clean. The wrap around deck is perfect to sit on in the evening as also has a back deck which was great for outdoor dinning.

We love Sunset Island for many reasons and have been coming for years. This home is the best equipped we have had — kitchen, beach equipment, games, etc. It was clean when we arrived — the owner obviously takes pride in his second home!
However, the prospectus stated that it sleeps 11, but more accurately it sleeps 8. A sofa bed in the living room is not inviting when it is next to the kitchen. A sofa bed inside the front entrance with no door is not conducive to sleep. The mattress on the first floor sofa bed was paper thin, broken, and lumpy — management did replace the innards but it took 2 days. There were no blankets provided for the sofa beds — we had to cover with beach towels if cold; we requested from management, but got no response. Ice machine in fridge didn’t work (no big deal, but also got not response when reported).
This is a lovely family setting with many advantages — ocean, bay (warm water and no waves), indoor and outdoor pools, gym. I realize that it is a busy time and that management is transitioning, but the owners of the properties need to be aware of the shortcomings and communication needs to be improved. Pool passes are limited to 6 (additional are $70 each). I believe that if 11 people are staying, each should get a pass.
