We love this place! We`ve stayed here twice and will go back again. It`s comfortable and super convenient. Fully equipped, comfy beds, and right around the corner from main street -- shops, restaurants, bakeries, coffee, antiques, lobster rolls! The historic mansion makes you feel like you went back in time! But with all modern comforts. Strong wifi, etc. Totally recommend. Be careful, what was listed as an $89 per night accommodation had the following add ons. $175 for cleaning, $69 for insuring the furnishings (in my opinion not museum pieces or antiques, but furnishings more likely to be found at a thrift shop), and two $60 charges one for the booking company I booked with ( HomeAway), and a second for another company that HomeAway booked with, i.e. TurnKey. Overall, this was an unattractive living space. It might work for a large family or scout troop, but for two guests whose 3 nights came to almost $650 it was a bit much. BTW, while there, street work going on throughout the night on Main Street in front of the home.
