Loved this house it was tuked away right next to the river. The house was beautiful and the view was to die for. The hot tub was a little out dated and needs some pieces fixed and the water had a bad smell but other than that our stay was amazing.

We all were in awe of the views at this home, but we loved that there was something for everyone in the family. My two year old son LOVED the toy closet and I was happily surprised with all the baby supplies (bouncers, rockers, ex.) that were available to use. We played card games late into the night in the dining room. I loved the peace and quiet of the area. We would definitely stay again!

This home is in a wonderful location. The lake is easily accessible with a small beach area for lauching watercraft and youngster`s play. We enjoyed long play days on the water right from the home`s yard on the lake`s edge. There are no outdoor fires allowed at this time. There is new flooring in the main living area for easier clean up, which probably accounted for a light layer of sawdust on surfaces. The water from the tap smells like the lake. The carpeted areas of the home smell of dog. We brought along water and air filtering devices. The downstairs bathroom areas are sketchy, only a couple soap dispensers or handtowels in the house. Upstairs bathrooms and living areas are more fresh. The kitchen works well with good appliances and table service. There were plenty of dishwasher pouches and kleenex, though we needed to pick up extra paper towels and trash bags. The garage is accessible, thoough scary and dirty. The stairs up to the floor bove have railings on only one side, the other side is open to the room below. This was a return visit for us. The location can`t be beat, the home has had a a couple upgrades though the quality of the accomadations is closer to camping than a nice hotel. The local staff are responsive and helpful, bringing us a dust mop so we could keep the floors clean. We would return again and can recommend this home with these caveats. House was clean and right on the lake. Very peaceful and big with all the amenities you would need to have. Hot tub was the cherry on top. This review was submitted while the home was managed by a different property management company.

Wasn’t cleanly, inaccurate ad, hot tube was unusable, lacking basic necessities such as soap and paper towels, windows in upstairs master didn’t have curtains, broken couch that was from before our arrival and owner didn’t want to fix it. We rented this house because of it`s location and ability to fit 8 of us. The house fit us very well and the lake side location is great. The house itself needs some TLC. There is carpet by the main door to back yard and is dirty from traffic. This house is older and has decent layout just needs to have some repairs and maintenance done soon. The view of the lake is absolutely stunning and fun to watch the local wildlife. Our biggest let down is that you access the house via a shared driveway and the neighbor will yell at you and confront you. So much so that our kids were scared to go out. This kind of ruined our stay. I will say we had to contact the rental company about him and they were wonderful to work with. Overall, we had a great time and enjoyed the property. There was a few issues, but nothing that can`t be fixed. The house was limited to only one trash bag and a couple diswasher tabs. I would double check on supply prior to your stay. We thought the tap water had a strange taste and smell. I`m sure it was fine, but we ended up doing bottled water. Other than that, a lovely spot with a cool nice story behind the history of it. This review was submitted while the home was managed by a different property management company.

We had a fabulous time at Grampa’s Lake House. The lake is beautiful. We enjoyed the hot tub, air hockey and just enjoying the view. It’s close to the dunes and Honeyman Park. We rented ATVs at the dunes and had a blast! We hope to be back! This review was submitted while the home was managed by a different property management company.

TurnKey was great with communication. We saw a poor review and reached out to make sure the details were resolved. They reached out via phone, email, and text to explain and assure us it was all taken care of and the home would be covid clean and it was. There was some miscommunication regarding a late departure that was offered and a last minute booking that required the housekeeping to arrive early. We are pretty easy going people and it was not a problem for us to finish packing up while a super happy/friendly gal began cleaning. Overall, we thought the TurnKey management were super communicators and the house, location, amenities were all fantastic and everything they advertised and communicated. Our large family spent a week here over the Fourth of July. The house could use a little TLC and change the carpet out, even inexpensive linoleum would be better. That said we would definitely go back. The house had good separation of space and enough room for us all. And the lakeside yard is perfect, it deserves a 10. We spent our time outside playing corn hole and badminton and kayaked right from the private yard. This review was submitted while the home was managed by a different property management company.

Grandpa`s Lake House was great for our family social distancing getaway to the Oregon Coast. The layout of the house maximizes beautiful views of the lake. And the amenities -- air hockey table, hot tub, game table, fireplace, WiFi, family room -- ensure plenty of fun for all ages. We appreciated all the thought put into labeling kitchen items, comfortable mattresses and sheets, etc. Our only hesitation was the first impression, for example the exterior could use some paint and the carpet on the main floor is stained and in need of replacing. No doubt the owners will do that over time, as well as repair the dock. The hot tub had not been cleaned, and the prior occupant was still clearing out when we arrived at four. We had to buy air fresheners, hand soap, and insecticide. We cleaned the windows upon arrival and wiped smudges off the walls and doors. But overall, we were happy with the place and felt like we got a good value for the amount we paid. We would go back. Great location, nice sized house with plenty of space, fully stocked with everything we needed. We will likely be staying here again next year if available. This review was submitted while the home was managed by a different property management company.

We had an enjoyable birthday vacation with our extended family of 10. Our first impression when driving up was that the exterior faced much neglect. We were expecting a newer house. Landscaping was also neglected which did not help our first impression.
The interior was freshly painted throughout and had plenty of room for our 3 families to spread out. The beds were comfortable other than the thin sheets that would not stay on the bed through the night. The kitchen was older, but with new appliances and well stocked with every imaginable small appliance available and place settings for 20. Also the dining table held all 10 of us comfortably.
The kids enjoyed fishing(caught enough trout for a delicious trout dinner), swimming and out on their kayaks and paddle boards they brought along.
Our biggest complaint was that the place smelled like dog urine, with numerous stains in the carpeting. Clearly carpet was not professionally cleaned. As much as we enjoyed our stay, I would not return until the main floor carpeting was removed and replaced with other flooring. The lake side door was a major issue for our young grandchildren to open, as the carpeting made it a problem.
We also had to go to town to buy a rake to clean up the geese poop covering the front lawn which made that area unusable until we cleaned it up. (We left the rake for future renters to use). This would appear to be an ongoing issue as the big plus for the property was the nice grassy shore to the water for both people and geese! Few other properties appear to have this. My family and I were looking forward to a fun and relaxing weekend at the lake to celebrate Mother`s Day. Upon arriving to the house, we immediately noticed and were disappointed by the state the home was in. As we walked in, we could not believe how dirty the floors and carpets were . The floors had not been swept or the carpets vacuumed. We noticed damage to the sheet rock, a large hole in the bathroom where the toilet paper holder had been with exposed tubing and bugs crawling out (the toilet paper holder was left sitting on the counter), the windows have not been cleaned in what looks like a very long time, there are dirty ashtrays strewn around, exposed outlets, dirty dishes and the smell of cigarette smoke. The water in the hot tub is grey, making the advertised hot tub unusable. Also, the door handles do not work from the inside of the downstairs bathroom and bedroom. If you close the door and are in the room, you cannot get out. After we arrived, I contacted a rental agent who was helpful and told me he would work to get someone to take care of the problem. I was contacted directly by the cleaning company who sent someone out to help. The woman who came out was very nice, but said the vacuum was broken and there was nothing she could do to help. I was under the impression she was bringing out a new vacuum. I again, contacted one of the rental agents who told me he was going to contact the local team to assist me. I did get a text from a local team member who told me she would come by in the morning to vacuum. This morning, a team member did drop off a vacuum for us to use to clean the floors. When the team member brought us the vacuum the chamber was empty of debris. Between vacuuming the upstairs and downstairs we had to empty the vacuum 3 times! Clearly, not everything about this house is all bad, but they have been overshadowed by the state of disarray the home is currently in. This house needs a lot of work and a very good cleaning This review was submitted while the home was managed by a different property management company.
